In the expensive Miraflores area, this is not a bad deal. Receptionist Cynthia was a dear, very nice; her male counterpart not so much. Their shuttle service to LIM airport works fine, they offer CNN as an English channel and the rooms are clean. However, the internet was slow and the signal intermittent. The elevator had broken down so I regretted having requested a high room. The reason WHY I requested a high room was a nice view perhaps; but alas; no view at all!! It took them 3 days to fix ... Pros: good location, nice front desk staff who speak English, good breakfast ok for a lot of diet restrictions. Cons: rooms could use an update, they charge to use the safe in your room (it locks with a key), construction noise during the day, thin walls/doors so you can hear noise from the hallway/other rooms, at least from my room I could here kitchen noises until really late at night, the "gym" is a bike that doesn't work and a rusted machine. Worst part/ cab driver affiliated with the hot... Read more

Pros: Staff was courteous and always willing to assist quickly and with a great attitude of service. The elevator was out of order the entire stay, we were on the 4th floor. After the second night they offered to move us to the 2nd floor, and I asked for an upgrade. They upgraded us to a junior suite without extra charge. It was twice as large and a nice room compared to the smaller room. The price included breakfast was nice and had a variety of foods. Location is a huge plus, it's a couple... Read more

I arrived at the hotel at night, after checking in they told me the elevator had just broken down and that they will fix it the next day! The problem is I had read trip advisor reviews before, and many people wrote about the elevator not working so it really bugged me that they were lying to me. Problem #1 read in trip advisor. Next day we come back from dinner around 1am and the hotel had a blackout, apparently some water pipeline had a leak and so they switched off the lights to prevent a majo... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights as I needed somewhere with aircon. Staff were excellent in correcting my booking mistake with booking.com and were able to change my booking for no extra charge. They were also very friendly and helpful. Jacuzzi and pool were great, as was breakfast and the room with aircon and comfy bed. The only thing I didn't like was that the walls were thin and I could hear people in the hallway, doors closing and people talking in other rooms but that was the only bad thing.... Read more

Stayed here June 11. Had a single, but daughter had a triple with friends. Spacious rooms, lovely lobby, nice neighborhood in Miraflores, within walking distance of The Mall which overlooks the ocean. The pillows were a bit hard, but it didn't interrupt my sleep! Nice offerings for their continental breakfast!

While on a trip to Lima, I stayed at the Embajadores. I was disappointed by the run-down appearance of the hotel. The toilet only flushed once or twice a day. The breakfast bar is lacking in selection.

This location is great because it is in a walking distance of Larco Mar, Larco Avenue. Close to Barranco (5 min driving) About my experience in the hotel, all staff were nice (all shifts and including my booking manager from the very beginning). They provided a great service and were very useful to give information for touristic attractions and restaurants at all time. The room was quiet and very clean. Pool was a bit small but ok for a nice time at the roof top.

It has super friendly staff always willing to help in every way possible! The location is amazing and the room and common areas were very clean. It made our stay so worthy! For breakfast they have a bread pudding that is a must!! I would definitely return.

The hotel is located a few blocks away from Larcomar Mall and other places of interest, the staff was super friendly, always providing support and great information about the city and how to move around. I spent some time working in the library down stairs, while drinking a delicious Pisco sour made at the bar, very cozy place it was very productive to prepare for my business meetings.

The rooms need to be refreshed. The carpet in the room was old and worn out.The.old blankets needs to be thrown away. The room was .clean but smelly. But the staff was very helpful. The restaurant was very old fashioned . Breakfast was correct and again the breakfast staff was very helpful. This hotel could be good if the management would make an effort to modernize the restaurant, the linnen and the carpet in the room.

The staff were friendly & helpful, English spoken. The bed was really comfy! Location's good, 5 mins from Larcomar and 10 mins from Kennedy Park. It's in a safe area of town. However, our room was directly above reception near the lift shaft so we were awoken early morning by the noise from both. Also the hotel is a little "tired" and could do with a spruce-up. Considering what we paid we expected so much better. That said, we did book with short notice after being let down by our original choi... Read more

The Embajadores is a comfortable hotel in a good location close to the Miraflores walkway and Laracoma centre. The whole area felt safe to walk around with plenty of dining options close by. The room is of a good size with fridge and microwave. Staff were friendly and pleasant. The provided breakfast was adequate to start the day.

Booked in the hotel first days of my business trip and regretted it the first minute I stepped into my room: the walls were humid with cracked painting, bathroom smelled and heating was going off after 10 minutes. Breakfast was so poor they served 3 4 pieces of fruit/veggies on small plates, you had to be lucky if you found any whilst you were (I would sometimes wait up to 30 minutes for fresh fruit as it was the only thing I could eat). Apart from instant tea and bad coffee, a not to be trusted... Read more

Great value for the money. They are great and willing to serve.... All of the them. Whoever's leading this ship is doing a great job. Great breakfast. And because I have to leave the hotel at 5 am tomorrow, they will have a small continental breakfast for me, with coffee!! Now, that's special!!
