This is a beautiful restaurant in the Country Club in Lima. Amazing environment, ok service even tho they have around 20 waiters, etc. The food was ok not reflecting the expensive prices, very small amount, you definitely must have dessert somewhere else. Be aware that when paying with dollars they will make money on the exchange, Very Strange since other restaurants give you the official exchange for your dollars as a service since you are consuming. I will give it a 4 out of 10

Stayed overnight with my sister on way to Cusco. After arriving after a very long flight and arriving at 5 am our room---obviously was not ready. Although we were very tired and had to wait they did have it ready about 1 pm. It was large and luxurious. Huge bathroom. The furnishings were beautiful. Bed was comfortable (at that point we could have slept on a floor). The interior/exterior were very elegant. It was a quiet atmosphere. The grounds were well maintained and peaceful. The gym was very s... Read more

Very well run hotel. Food is excellent. This is an older property so some signs of that, but very clean and a very pleasurable experience. Other activities are really not in walking distance. there is an elegance on this property.

This is a fabulous hotel in one of the best areas of Lima. This is my second visit and the rooms, service and ambience of the property are first class. There is everything you would expect in such a hotel including business facilities and an extensive range of sporting and recreational activities as well as special arrangements with the Lima Golf Club across the road. The area in which the hotel is located is safe and the hotel is surrounded by a number of major embassies. The breakfast service ... Read more

My wife and I have had a mixed experience with "Classic" or "Historic" properties. This was great. The hotel is only 3 floors so a nice size that one does not feel lost in. The rooms are huge! We had a room with two double beds and normally you feel cramped, this room was great with plenty of room. The bathrooms are modern with both tub and large shower. Service impeccable - we tipped nicely on arrival, as you should and were treated like King's for our 3 day stay. Definitely will stay ag... Read more

The rooms are light, bright, and large. The on-sight restaurant is very good, and offers a wonderful breakfast. The is a Starbuck's on property, so if all you need is a quick cup of coffee, it's steps away. There are also great shops on property. The hotel is located on the upscale San Isidro neighborhood, just across the street from Lima Golf Club.

Spent but a few hours with heads on pillows here last week. The transfer to the hotel from the airport at 11 in the evening was nearly an hour. Be advised! Traffic in Lima is crazy. This hotel is charming. Huge rooms. Slightly dated decor. Wonderful sliders in the bar. Wish we had more time to explore the area, but you will feel right at home here.

If you like small and luxury hotel with very personalised service this is the one in Lima. Under rooms renovation now, but not big changes, the rooms are good size, most of them with jacuzzi and separated shower. The Perroquet restaurant excellent and Bar Ingles probably with the best Pisco sour in town. Special mention the concierge and his staff, always attentive. All the personnel super and you feel better than home while there.

Stayed here for the 2nd time in August of 2016 after my wedding, and had an absolutely perfect time. From check in to check out, the staff were extremely professional and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable and I had no problems during my stay. Thank you to the manager, Mr. Luis Gomez, for the great service as always!

This is a very classy and excellent hotel. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from us is the fact that the bar staff were a little inattentive on the Sunday night that we stayed there. It may have had something to do with the fact that I asked for the TV to be turned away from soccer to the Olympics...otherwise, this was a 100% excellent place to stay.

We spent three nights recently and were very pleased. The hotel is beautiful and well appointed. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and provided all the needed amenities, with a huge comfortable bed. We had minor issues with the toilet not functioning well, but this was resolved. Location of the hotel is good and within walking distance of shopping district of San Isidro. Hotel cars can take you (for a charge) to any of the local destinations. The Bar Ingles... Read more

I've booked the "Spa Package" at this house. This gave me opportunity for a quick overview to all it's main services...and sorry, it was a very dissapointing experience. First of all let me say: I am business traveller that stays three mounths a year in 4 and 5 stars hotels worldwide. So I think I have good understanding about what "state of art" hospitality nowadays means. At Country Club Hotel I've found facilities and employees with a service attitude that was less behind what a traveller w... Read more

We booked a room at the last minute at Country Club when we decided to stay one night in Lima at the end of our trip to Peru. The hotel staff was super attentive and helpful. The rooms were spacious and tasteful. We felt very pampered at the Country Club. I highly recommend this hotel.

Elegant spaces, wonderful service, and really good food & bar. It's not in the heart of Miraflores or Barranco but that's why it's nice and quiet. You can get anywhere easily by car, which you can charge to your room.

Getting no breakfast having paid USD 250/night it is something in my opinión definitively not very nice. This is particularly true for any a hotel outside the big capitals of the world, which is he case of Lima.

The rooms were very ordinary and very old fashioned (not in a good way). The grounds of the actual hotel are quite small and you cannot really access the country club. The area around the hotel has little to offer. We left very early in the morning so did not have breakfast.

Set in a very pleasant 1920s building in what was at one time, presumably the Club House for the Golf Club across the road. Unfortunately, there are no grounds or sporting facilities with the hotel as these have been sold off to a Lima sports club - so teasingly, backing on to the hotel is a large covered sports area big enough for perhaps two tennis courts, a decent sized pool and various other grounds and sports facilities - none of which can be used. Also unhelpfully a children;s play area... Read more

Great hotel - well located (not walking distance, but close enough to things), very nice rooms (kept the old charm, but with new / well maintained items, and very good service. I was there with friends for a wedding (wedding was not there), the hotel was flexible enough to negotiate a better rate for the group, and all of us were very happy with our stay.

The hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast offers good selection of hot and cold dishes. These are all the positives about the hotel. But I would rather stay at JW Marriott or Westin next time because they are located in far more attractive and easy to get around locations with all the amenities with international brand standard. The Country Club Hotel reminds me of large hotels in Madrid which are totally out of touch with changing times and changing ne... Read more

The Country Club hotel is situated in the up market area of San Isidro in central Lima, next to the golf club. The heritage building contrasts starkly to the modern souless venues in Miraflores, and offers comfort, excellent service and quality dining.

We stayed on arrival in Peru and were booked in for our last night at the end. The hotel has real style and elegance, the restaurant food and service is superb; we had a wonderful paella and great service from Jesus at lunch. What stood out though was their respecting a request for change of room and moreover when our flight into Lima was cancelled, letting us use the room the next day instead. Thoughtful, easy and much appreciated. Daniela at front desk could not have made it easier.

Always our only choice when in Lima. the hotel sits like a lovely lady in an elegant setting. Lovely property in a quiet and very safe neighborhood. Staff is excellent from the moment of check in. Very good restaurant. It is definitely "old world elegant". All of Lima seemed to be there in their finery as one can see from the fact that there seemed to be at least one wedding being held each evening.
