We stayed at the Casa Andina Classic upon our arrival in Lima & when we returned to Lima to fly home. This hotel is a well-located smaller hotel in Miraflores with attractive, comfortable, and clean rooms. The breakfast hours were convenient and food provided was good. Above all the personnel was friendly and very helpful with instructions to sightseeing areas within walking distance and in making arrangements for tickets and a guide to the Larco Museum. We really appreciated the assistance and ... Read more

After staying in three 5 star hotels, the Casa Andina was a bit of a letdown. The room was sparse and barren. The bathroom was barely big enough for one person and had no ventilation. No bottles of water were provided (they cost 5 soles a piece). The breakfast was average and a little on the small side. The staff while helpful did the bare minimum to get by and were only willing to exchange 30 USD (got her to agree to exchange 40). Part of a chain, don't expect too much.

We arrived early, and although they couldn't let us check in then, the staff were very accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage with them in a secure area. In fact the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional throughout our time there. Our room was basic, but large, airy and clean. The bathroom was adequate if a bit small. Plenty of choice at breakfast. The area was fairly noisy in the evening, but we'd gone prepared with ear plugs so it didn't worry us too much. We only had t... Read more

Honestly, pulling into this place at midnight, I thought we were in the boonies! But as we strolled out the next morning, I realized we were in the middle of the market area and just a block from Parque Kennedy......good location! The hotel staff was very friendly. Check in went smoothly. Had a shelf with toiletries to purchase in case you left something at home. Breakfast buffet was very good and tasty. The rooms were a good size and the bathrooms had been updated to contemporary style. I... Read more

Spent a night in this little hotel as part of a package tour. Clean, comfortable and simple with an acceptable breakfast. Good location near restaurants and shopping. One objection would be the noise level (a common theme in our hotels in Peru and Chile) - you seem to be able to hear every sound coming from the street, the halls, and even the other rooms. Walls must be very thin.

Am here just for 2 nights, location is super, plenty of amenities, the only but I can say is my room wasn't cleaned when I arrived today at 1:30pm. Big mistake as I left at 8:30am. Rooms and hotel are clean though. I would repeat, recommended for travellers on a budget

We stayed here at the Classic Casa Andina when we arrived in Lima for two nights - the location is central, near the Kennedy Park and we easily (and safely) walked to Larcomar. There are many restaurants and coffee bars nearby, all walk able, the hotel is opposite the Inca market and the road outside is busy, you would easily get a taxi if you needed one. There are three Casa Andina hotels very nearby in Miraflores (Classic - this one; Select - nearby, slightly up market; Private Collection -... Read more

Beautiful little hotel. Staff very accommodating. Breakfast was very nice and filling. Needed this to keep the energy up for a full day activities. Central to everything. Easy access to elevators, rooms and restaurant. Highly recommend. TV's were not current enough to take USB drives so we couldn't relax at night and watch movies. Most TV was in Spanish which was OK as we knew a little.

Since we had a confirmed early check in, we spent "3" nights at the hotel. We checked in at 8:15AM, so had access to the breakfast our first day which was helpful after the long flight to Lima. Our room was on the 6th floor (the elevator ended on floor 5 and there were half flights to the second set of 500 rooms, and then to the 600 floor). Since we were high up and no one was above us, we did not have a noise issue. The room was functional and provided all that we needed in space and comfor... Read more

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. It was a lovely little hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Nice clean room with a comfortable big bed and a nice breakfast in the mornings. Great location, close to Kennedy Park and to lots of restaurants, all within walking distance. There was also free wifi down in the reception area. If you are looking for a nice, reasonably priced hotel in a great safe location then you won't go wrong with this one

We had 2 nights in this hotel prior to our trip to Cusco. The hotel was very clean, modern and centrally located to markets, town and restaurants. We found it a good place to recharge ourselves after the long flight. It was in a safe area with a doorman at all times. It was perhaps a little noisy with street noise as Miraflores is a popular and busy tourist area. The breakfast was well presented and adequate. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.

This hotel has a great central location and a lovely sort of Danish-modern style. The bathroom showers were great. They also had a nice breakfast buffet with good coffee (very important!) and both items to please the international palate as well as items that are typical to Peru. The hotel has free wifi in the lobby, but if you want to access it from your room there is a small fee--just $2 or $3 USD. There was lots to do within walking distance--Kennedy Park with lots of cats, a market right acr... Read more

I have stayed here for 15 years on annual trips to Peru and enjoyed the good service of this hotel. It has continued to upgrade over the years and is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast bar. Just across the street from some of the many blocks of market shopping.

Good central location--within walking distance to Kennedy Park. The complimentary breakfast is a plus and opens early for early starters. We stayed there in June, and it was quite chilly at night. The rooms didn't seem to have heat, and no matter how high we turned up the air conditioner, the temperature seemed was the same. Extra blankets are a must! Wifi is decent but can't stream video. Elevator is very old and somewhat slow--would recommend taking the stairs if you can.

It is nicely located across from the tourist shopping in Miraflores and around the corner from a main circle with many restaurants. It is no frills for the room and the breakfast. Just enough, but do not expect luxury. The staff were all nice.

The hotel is one of the many "Casa Andina" you will find all over Peru, and the "Classic" means it is on the "value" side of the family. It is comfortable and very conveniently located - two small blocks away from "the cat park" (Kennedy park) and just in front of the handcrafts market. Restaurants such as "La Lucha", and "Rep├║blica" are very close, and if you want the higher end experience of one of Gaston Acurios' places, "Panchita" is about three blocks away. The hotel has a weird distributi... Read more

Stayed here for 5 nights. Good location as the hotel is surrounded by artisan/craft markets that close between 8:00 and 9:00 pm - all within less than 5-mins. walk. Convenient especially since my business meetings ended late - had time to do some shopping. WiFi in room is charged extra at 15 PEN/night - but I have no complaints since it is fast and can connect up to 3 devices. The breakfast buffet is decent for a 3-star hotel. Only downside is that for a 5-night stay, you notice that the breakfa... Read more

So we stayed here the first few night we were here in Lima. The staff was very friendly and the room was ok. It's definitely not like thee other two Casa Andinas in Miraflores. But for the price it's ok. There are only a few rooms and to me it seems more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. It is in a very good location for visits to the Inca market.

Having never been in Peru before, we stayed here at the first and last day of our round trip, and to be honest, this hotel really turned out above expectation. Friendly staff at the reception advised on places to go and nearby shops and restaurants, the rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained and the beds were comfortable. This hotel is one of a chain of hotels that can be found throughout the country and I would recommend anyone travelling in Peru to consider this group. There was no re... Read more

If you like peace and quiet, this is not the hotel for you. We had a party two doors away at 1:00 am, and people sitting in the hallway outside our room. The staff could do nothing as there were only 2 on duty and they were busy, so people come and go all night. For a small hotel, the throughput in the middle of the night is quite something to see. The staff are doing everything they can under very difficult circumstances.

I stayed here at the end of February 2016 and found the place to fit the official description of 'functional'. It isn't a pretty place but it provides good, clean accommodation with reasonable food but is very well placed for everything you are likely to want to see in Lima. The original plan was to stay one night but due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances this turned into a six night stay. The staff proved to be very helpful & efficient & the hotel to be a sound base during a particula... Read more

On outer edge of cbd of Mira flores. Stayed there as was a nominated hotel for a tour I was starting on. Hotel is well maintained and clean, the staff helpful, breakfast good but I would not stay there. Would recommend a miraflores hotel on the other side of the cbd closer to the impressive coastline of miraflores. The aspect from the hotel is plain though there are market shops over the road. The main avenue from Miraflores to Lima central runs parallel to the street the hotel is in at the rear... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for one night while we were in Lima. Our flight got in at 5am, so the hotel stored our bags until our room was busy. We stayed here at the beginning and end of our tour with Mercury Holidays. The hotel is a bit like a travel lodge type but perfectly adequate as we didn't spend a lot of time in it. Breakfast was fine with enough choice. Our room for our first stay was fine and clean but the floor in our room on our last night was very dirty and sticky - it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, except for this I would have given it a higher rating. The hotel is centrally located close to many restaurants, markets, artisan stalls and shops. It is walking distance to Parq Kennedy. The buffet breakfast had basic choices to start the day. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff polite and helpful. The water pressure was pretty good in spite of being on the higher floor. But the hotel was noisy being so close to a major street front.

I stayed at this hotel recently and was impressed with the personnel. It was one of three Casa Andina hotels that I stayed in in Peru, and I found all to be welcoming and comfortable. We stayed here on a short stopover in Lima and were pleased with the hotel for a budget 3 star. The reception was pleasant and staff helpful, although the ATM was out of order. Our room was clean and pleasant, although the bathroom was very small and there was little room to dry off and use bug-spray after a shower . We stayed here during the APEC meetings. We were not able to get a Hotel closer to our business meetings. It was interesting to stay right in the middle of the Inca Market area. It is literally right outside the front door. The room was adequate but a bit spartan. The bathroom is very small. There is not a restaurant in the Hotel but it does have a small breakfast buffet. Rooms are basic design/style (tile that looks like laminate?), as many hotels in Peru- rooms do not have good soundproofing via windows, doors or walls.
