This was the third Belmond property that we stayed at on a National Geographic Lindblad tour. Just as exquisite as the other two in Cusco and Machu Picchu, but more of a big city vibe. We were only their overnight, but the service was excellent. The location is right on the ocean with wonderful walking paths and close to good restaurants.

This hotel is first-rate, with great service, wonderful ocean views, and great amenities. It is about 35-40 minutes from the airport and not near the downtown area, so this is the place to come for restful, serene, ocean views in a high-end oceanfront neighborhood. It isn't the place to come to if you want to be within walking distance of any Lima tourist attractions, shops, or restaurants. There is a nice long beach walk along the cliffs, and within a half-mile or so of the hotel is a hidden ... Read more

Our first experience of a Belmond property and we found it perfect in so many ways. The staff from curbside greeting to check in to concierge to bar and dining room staffs were simply professional and warmly courteous in every encounter. The Concierge was outstanding for our requests. The location was better than we expected. From the public parks through which walking paths were well laid out and developed for a long distance to walking the surrounding areas by ourselves, we felt we had many op... Read more

The Belmond in Lima is a lovely, all suite boutique hotel in the posh tourist part of town. Great sea view suites, a lovely park for morning & evening walks. Great staff and service. Fab rooftop observatory for breakfast. Super lobby bar. Great ambience. Didn't miss Four Seasons! Use Condor travels.

Absolutely stunning entrance hall to this magnificent hotel. Great rooms with all you could ask for, huge bathrooms and massive beds. Really good food and staff that are extremely attentive, could not fault our stay here. Pisco sours are a must!

We really enjoyed our stay here in May 2016. The hotel team couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Delicious breakfast, with a chef on hand to cook up a variety of fresh omlettes, and the breakfast room has a fabulous view. We didn't use the rooftop pool, but it looked nice, if a little on the small side. Gym looked good too. Lima isn't the most inspiring of holiday destinations (it's something of a 5/10) so it's really nice to have a welcoming lobby where the staff remember your ... Read more

Hotel is in great location overlooking the beach - but getting to the beach takes quite a walk to one of the overpasses that crosses the beach highway. Located just minutes from the Larcomar mall with a mix of American and Peruvian restaurants and stores. The service in the hotel is excellent very accommodating with knowledgeable staff in the Checking as well as the attached restaurant Tragaluz. The rooms are without balconies but spacious and with minibars and huge bathrooms with walking shower... Read more

Myself and my friend stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolutely incredible. The service was second to none, I have never experienced friendlier and more helpful staff! Everyone was so welcoming and we felt special from the second we arrived to the moment we left. Food and drinks were also delicious and would highly recommend a massage in the spa! We really did have an amazing few days could not recommend it more!

From the first moment we stepped into the hotel it was a perfect experience. Beautiful lobby design, outrageous floral design and a home made ice tea was a great start. The room wasn't ready (we arrived at noon) after a long flight from Los Angeles so they brought us to the club level and provided showers after which we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with wine. Great location on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific, around the corner from the Larcomar shopping mall and easy access to everything Lima... Read more

One of the best hotels I have stayed at anywhere. The location, the service, the amenities, the room, the view, the breakfast all work together to make this a phenomenal hotel in a spectacular location. The Belmond Miraflores Park was outstanding. We stayed at 4 different Belmond properties while in Peru and they were all excellent. The accommodations are top-notch; luxurious, comfortable; the staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable; the location is perfect - a park-like setting, very quiet and peaceful, but right there on the coastal walk, close to everything. Just perfect!

Fantastic property in the Miraflores district of Lima. Located up on a high bluff, overlooking the ocean. The property is right on the walking/bike trail that runs along the coast. Beautiful facilities, beautiful room, impeccable service. Breakfast buffet serviced upstairs on the 11th floor in a bright open airy solarium-type room adjacent to the pool and pool deck. Staying at the Miraflores for two nights en route to Machu Picchu was everything we expected, and more. Our flight from Miami was delayed by 4 hours; bringing us in to the hotel at 11 PM. The hotel staff coddled us upon arrival and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The room was huge and well appointed. The bathroom deluxe with double sinks, a walk-in shower, tub, toilet, bidet and thick, thirsty towels. In the morning we realized that our 7th floor room had an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean! I stayed in two Lima hotels. The first, a big name hotel at the airport was forgettable. This one was not. Lima is huge and divided into many districts. Miraflores is the second most-affluent district, and very nice. The hotel is situated in a park-like location overlooking the ocean. This is a great walking location, with walks through groomed greenery overlooking the ocean, and a short walk to a nice shopping center with nice restaurants and stores, also overlooking the ocean. The hotel itself is very nice. People are very friendly, great location and many places to walk to. I do have issues with hotels calling larger rooms Junior Suites. It was a larger than standard, but in no way a suite. Pay a lot for a room and then paying 20 USD for a club sandwich is ridiculous. If I were to return, I would consider Belmond but would probably go to JW Marriott and get a real Suite.

We didn't stay here but left our hotel to visit the Bar here! We know the Belmond brand from our stay there in Charleston, SC. While in Peru we stayed nearby at a worldwide chain because I have points there. It is also very nice and is more highly ranked but I would say that's only because it's a large brand name chain. We stayed for two nights after our Machu Picchu adventure and a lot of traveling. I was very much looking forward to a city, and while the city of Lima did not live up to my expectations, the hotel certainly did! The hotel is traditional and lovely while I usually prefer a more modern hotel, I had no complaints. Sadly we only had one night - and a too brief stay - at this first rate hotel. Our huge room was very comfortable. We had a nice meal at the bar and a great breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. The only problem was the winter misty weather in Lima meant views were very limited. But this was a great place to stay in the heart of an upscale district by the sea.

Posh hotel by the sea in Miraflores. Turned out to be a great place to go on arrival after a long direct BA flight from the UK. Rooms were very comfy and being on the concierge level meant we could pop to the lounge for snacks and a drink as we attempted to adjust to the time difference. The pool and breakfast area on the top floor were both top class. The breakfast was a perfect mix of international and local .

The service was impeccable, the room spacious and very well equipped, the breakfast is served on the top floor and was amongst the very best, and the restaurant on the ground floor was also lovely. It has an outside area and floor to ceiling windows if you are not lucky enough to get a space in the sun. Not much of a spa, the sauna was tiny and you need to ask for it to be heated in advance, but you can't have everything.
