Quaint rustic hotel. Bit dusty under the bed and bathroom shower door was broken so got repaired while we were there. Creaky varnished floorboards, very noisy with traffic outside all night long tooting. Tea making is in the kitchen, not the bedrooms. Laundry service overpriced. Unfortunately I got severe altitude sickness and coca leaf poisoning so was rushed off to hospital in an ambulance the first night. Another guest was already using the hotel oxygen. The locals all seem to think that coca... Read more

Excellent staff who provided great service. Tip: the two loft rooms were very hot when we stayed (mid Nov) so make sure you ask for a fan. Very good location and close to many of the main attractions in Cusco

We had a wonderful stress free stay at Wakapunku! All the staff were incredibly helpful with all our requests and questions and they all spoke English. There is always a staff member at reception 24/7 as we had to check out reallly early at 2am for our trek one morning. The staff helped us in so many ways by arranging taxi to and from airport and also to sacsayhuaman ruins and Pisac markets which takes 40 mins one way. They held our large bags over 2 days whist we did our Machu Picchu trek for... Read more

This hotel is in a quiet back street and was a bit difficult to find. The rooms are clean but on the small size. The decor and service are European in style and standards with plenty of hot water. The hotel was really helpful-making us breakfast at 4:30am and storing our bags when we went on a jungle visit. Would stay here again

Small hotel but my room was super clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location cannot be beaten, it is a 5 minute walk to the main plaza in Cusco, and a walking distance to absolutely everything (great proximity to San Blas as well). They have free coca tea (which was very helpful for those of us suffering from altitude sickness!) and breakfast service was very simple but lovely. Would stay here again on my next visit.

No complaints about this place and enjoyed myself. Little hotel (not many rooms) in a good location close to the main square. Cute rooms, clean and comfortable. Breakfast basic continental breakfast but very adequate. Very friendly staff (this was the best thing about this hotel). Helped out with plastic bags for my stuff when walking Inca trail, luggage scales and stored my luggage while doing Inca trail. Thanks

I loved everything about this place! It felt very homey, there aren't many guests so it feels very quiet and intimate. The staff were super friendly and helpful with us, and I noticed they were very attentive to their other guests too. The hotel decor is very nice, colorful and playful yet simple. They offer breakfast in the AM, and their wifi is spectacular! Did I mention it's literally a five minute walk to the main plaza and right in the heart of the city's bustling zone? I will be coming her... Read more

The room was comfortable, location is great just around the corner from the 12 Angle stone. You can easily walk to several sites of interest. Good quality food for the early breakfast and very friendly staff that helped booking tours and shuttles to the airport.

Five members of our family spent 4 nights at this hotel and loved it! It has only 7 rooms, along with a nice breakfast room, a top loft area, and very nice desk and service staff. They kept our luggage while we went to Macchu Picchhu for two days, welcomed us back with tea and treats, and were helpful with all our questions. It is only two blocks from two different plazas and other tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel in a convenient, safe location in Cusco. Nicely decorated, very clean, comfy room with hot shower and warm water in sink. A heater and fan in the room, if needed. Cozy little common area on each floor with books to read and coffee/tea/fruit available all day. A nice touch! My only "negatives" are sometimes slow, inconsistent wifi and that you can hear people talking in next room or hall at times. But, great hotel and highly recommend it!
