We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days, on our way to Cusco. It's a lovely old building that has been renovated and it's quite charming. The rooms were clean and neat. I loved the beautiful courtyard this hotel has. The breakfast was really lovely. Most of all the staff were so helpful. My only problem was that I missed drinking regular tea with milk. There seemed to be no milky tea to be had after breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

This hotel is another great old building in central Cusco that has been transformed. The interior is excellent, well finished with open courtyards and wonderful little dinning room for breakfast. Food was excellent. Only 2 levels here, and only stairs for access (I think!) so be aware of this. Staff were great, helpful & friendly. Room was lovely, clean and well appointed including fascinating wall decorations. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here before and after doing the Salkantay Trek. It was quiet, clean, close to laundry facilities, and definitely felt more Peruvian than western, which we wanted. The airport pick-up, breakfast, tea, wifi, and business center (for printing out boarding passes) all helped make it stand out. They did a great job making us feel welcome, communicated with us in English, and even had our bags in our room when we returned from our trek. The location was fantastic and we f... Read more

Excellent service - staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Rooms were clean, beds were amazingly comfortable. The hotel also has a small outdoor library, which made the place feel incredibly homely. Would strongly recommend this to anyone who prioritises comfort and great value for money

I had a great stay here. It was my first time in Cusco, and I loved how close they were to all the great restaurants and shops. They are very centrally located, only a short 7 minute walk to the main plaza. They were so kind as to store our bags for 4 days while we did the 4-day Inca Trail trek, and had the bags ready and waiting in our new room when we returned. The rooms are very clean, and our bed was HUGE! The wifi can be a bit wonky. The breakfast was included, and it was delicious! ... Read more

The hotel is on a busy street, located about 3 blocks from the main plaza, but I heard no traffic noise. My room was pretty, neat, and clean. There is a lovely courtyard, a small, cozy reading room with a choice of books, and a choice of free water, coffee, and coca tea in the lobby. The breakfast buffet is especially nice, with many selections and an attendant in the room to replenish the food. The staff at the reception desk is knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful, also English speaking. T... Read more

Staff in the reception desk are very kind and supportive and provide good information. I got 2 times of Taxi services and both were timely and reasonable and I was satisfied with their help. Even if we arrived early in the morning, we could check in, which we could immediately take a day trip and maximize our time.

We stayed at Tierra Viva Cusco Centro before and after our Inca Trail hike. The property itself is in a great location and the rooms were very pleasant. Breakfast was included and it was a nice mix of items. The staff was very helpful and even arranged for 'to go' breakfast ready for when we had to leave at 4;30AM the morning we started our hike. When we returned from the hike, our bags that we left there were already in our new room, which was a nice touch

When we arrived at the door we were a bit worried because this is a very busy area near the center of everything in Cuzco but once inside it a real oasis of tranquility with rooms situated around a beautifully restored courtyard. Hard to believe where you are. Everything functions really well. Rooms are spacious, tasteful and well equipped. There is a little business room and a coffee or tea area by the reception. There is no bar but you can sit and drink your own wine in the courtyard and they ... Read more
