The hotel is very nice and the staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. It would be great they tell you before confirming the booking that the street is under construction. It is the rainy season and most of the street was muddy.

We loved our one night stay in this hotel. The ambiance is amazing - the hotel dates back to the 1700s/1800s, and we loved the multiple colorful courtyards. Our room for 3 people was incredible - 2 large beds, a very nice bathroom, and it was 2 stories (the upstairs had a few couches, as well as a hot water heater and coca leaves). The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating - they gave us our vegan breakfast at 3:20am when we had to take a taxi to the airport. They also arranged this ta... Read more

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a night, and we had a great experience. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. We had just come back from Puerto Maldonado (aka the jungle) so we were happy to see the large bathroom and bathtub. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was served promptly at 6am and had a ton of options for all kinds of eaters. The only thing we didn't love was the construction going on right outside the hotel. It made it a bit hard to get to the a... Read more

Great surprise in Cuzco, Tambo del Arriero hotel proved to be a cozy, well located and very friendly place to be at. Staff was very nice and gentle, our friend Massiel has the best. She took care of all we need, from tours to restaurant recommendations. Room was clean and spacious. The only negative to point was the internet, very poor signal either in the room or on the public areas of the hotel. This is something the hotel should consider to get a 5th star, it makes a huge difference for peopl... Read more

Beautiful property that combines very contemporary baths with rustic chic decor, queen beds (not twins or doubles!) and is located just a few blocks from the main square. The staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet offered eggs made to order - and they tasted better than any eggs that aren't fresh off the farm - and loads of fresh squeezed juices and tropical fruit. I'm not sure why this hotel does't charge more, but take advantage of this deal if you can!

Room was ok but it only had two double beds and no extra bed upstairs so not great for a family. Water was cold and there were running major construction on whole street so access was difficult. Also not in the best city part albeit not far from main square.

Road construction out front made for quite a hike getting there, but once inside the place was great. Super nice staff, cozy/clean rooms, decent breakfast. In fact, we came back two different times during our trip.

We picked this hotels as it had goods reviews on trip advisor. The only reason l did not give it 5 stars was that it was a bit future out of Cusco than l thought. But still it was only a 10 min walk back into the main square. We booked the junior suite at a special rate of US$110 which was a much better room than the standard rooms. It was a large comfortable room with a upstairs living area and overlooking a court yard area. Breakfast was nice enough, well worth the stay if you take the junior S... Read more

Great breakfast, more European than American style. Rooms were spacious and architecturally interesting. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They can hold your luggage too! Answered all my questions.

The place to stay when in Cuzco. From airport pick-up & throughout our entire stay we felt safe, well attended & accomodated. Staff spoke English, they stored our luggage while we were in Machu Picchu. Reasonable price, clean & well maintained rooms with heated towel bars???
