I'd like to give it a higher rating but unfortunately it was a very noisy hotel. Good: Mrs. Maria Elena and the rest of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were out two nights to Machu Picchu and they allowed us to leave our stuff in our room and no extra charge. On the day we left to Machu Picchu we got fruit and granola bars to go even though the restaurant was closed at the time. The room was very clean and there's plenty of food for breakfast. The location might be a turn off, ... Read more

The hotel was so accommodating, helping arrange a transfer from the airport, having everything already sorted for when I arrived slightly before check in time and the young boy/man on reception was one of the most helpful people I have ever met at a hotel, nothing seemed too much trouble for him and he seemed to be up no matter what time day or night.

I felt mislead by other reviews here, and I should have read the reviews with the poor ratings in more details prior to booking. This is more like a hostel. The staff is extremely friendly, but my husband and I felt unsafe in the area, and had to check out after only one night. Surrounding area has no restaurants or cafes Surrounded by auto body shops Could walk to the popular area in 15 min, but it doesn't feel like a safe walk Loud noises at night, like cat calls. Didn't find this t... Read more

I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Unumizu. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff was incredibly helpful - they arranged transportation for us to the train station, gave us great dining recommendations, and even brought breakfast to our room at 5:00 before our train to Machu Picchu. If you are going to stay somewhere in Cuzco, stay here!

Were it not for the acoustics, I would give this hotel a 5, but it is true that this place is not meant for the light sleepers. Too bad, because the rooms are very clean and comfortable, well appointed, and spacious. If there was a time that sheets and towels were not up to par, then I would say that the management learned its lesson. Our sheets, pillowcases, towels and bathroom rug, were sparkling white every day. Th bed itself was very nice and we slept great each of our three nights, and I a... Read more

My fiance and I stayed in this hotel for our Peru adventure June 2016. We believe this hotel has it all for an amazing price, it's conveniently located and they'll gladly hail you a company cab that's dirt cheap to take you to the center, bus station or anywhere in the city you wish to go. They have FREE airport pick up and drop off, an AMAZING breakfast that's included in your stay. The staff is overly friendly (as are most peruvians) and extremely helpful. Our room was always taken care of, a... Read more

Great hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice and clean. When I went to Machu Picchu they even made a lunchbag for me to bring. Free pickup to and from the airport. Definetly to recommend!

We found all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel contacted me before I left home to get my travel info so they could have a Taxi at the airport waiting. Even though our flight was 45 min late the was a fellow with our name on a board waiting. We had tickets for the train to Machu Picchu and required a taxi very early in the morning but the front desk had one ready for us and even told us what the fares should be. The only problem we had was we were in room 301 (has a bathtub) but... Read more
