The location was excellent just a block from Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun. The streets here are infused with Incan and pre-Incan history. We walked extensively day and night, enjoying the cathedrals, the art, and the lively main square night life. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent and the breakfast buffet was extensive, complete with really good coffee and an omelette station. Our room was large and quiet with 2 queen beds facing the garden. The handwoven tapestries that decor... Read more

I booked this hotel based on so many excellent reviews. Perhaps my standards are higher than most because I just don't understand how so many travelers rate the place so high. The lobby is dirty and really unpleasant -- with handprints all over the glass doors (as you enter) and faux leather couches from the 70s that look like they're falling over from years of use. I was greeted at 5 a.m. (after an exhausting 24 hour trip) by a gruff man, whose first words to me were: "Pasaporte, por favor."... Read more

Accommodations were most comfortable. Room overlooking the inner courtyard was quiet. Breakfast buffet was generous. Staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights. Fine dining within walking distance in the central square. Artisans market nearby. Museums also nearby.

Great accommodation in a beautiful city! We were very comfortable, and close to shops and restaurants! Staff were great - a friend left her purse in the restaurant by accident and it end promptly returned to her! Great job!

Had two stays at this hotel during a GAdventures tour. The first room we had, room 204, had limited electrical outlets and the bathroom was undergoing repair. Also had lots of hallway and street noise. The second room, 218, was much more modern but smaller. Better access to electrical outlets and right next to the elevator, with good views. The wifi is good, as is the location. Staff is well trained and helpful.

Stayed here twice during our visit to the Sacred Valley as we did the Inca Trail in between. Lovely, traditional rooms - some with views of the Andes - and plenty of hot water. On the second visit the lock broke on the toilet door which was fixed promptly (we couldn't get in!). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent and there was a chef cooking fresh omelettes every morning. Coca tea on tap in reception. Reception kept our luggage while we did the Inc... Read more

We were basically impressed with the service and staff and the restaurant was wonderful. The location is on a very narrow street so traffic is limited. There is a tiny bodega next door for reasonably priced water. The only problem was that we were on the third floor and there was no elevator. Since this was our first night in Cusco we were not yet acclimated to the altitude so the three story climb was like climbing Everest! Everything else was terrific!

We are from Singapore. Hotel staff are very helpful and speaks English. Heaters are provided at each rooms without being requested so it's comforting especially when we come from a tropical country! I even requested the kitchen to cook an Asian style porridge for my friend and they remember my order when I dialed in a second time. My friend and I fell ill to altitude sickness and hotel dialed for SOS Medical group ( Cusco-Peru) and Doctor came for house visit. Doctor was very kind and helpful to... Read more
