We absolutely loved our time at Rumi Punku. The staff picked us up from the airport (free of charge) and had a coca tea waiting for us on our arrival to the hotel. The place is very quaint, with a nice living room with a fireplace and cool local art where you eat breakfast, and a courtyard. It stays quite quiet. The beds are large and comfortable, great water pressures and hot water. The breakfast was a huge plus. So much fresh fruit, fresh grains, milk, yogurt, eggs cooked however you like on d... Read more

Stayed here for a couple of nights before going up to Machu Picchu then for a third night after coming back down. We were in a superior double which was a good size and had Juliet balcony doors which overlooked a pretty courtyard. Decent breakfast which was served early giving us a chance to get away to Sacred Valley before the crowds. Staff were helpful when needed and allowed us to leave our main suitcases with them for a couple of days while we went up the valley.

Room was comfortable and well appointed, property is beautiful, location is great - just a few blocks to the main square and tons of shops and restaurants. Staff was very accommodating - we did a 3 day hike in the middle of our stay and they stored our bags for us at no charge and had them waiting in our room for us when we got back.

Located just a few blocks away from the Plaza de Armas, the Hotel Rumi Punku was our expedition tour hotel of choice, and it was great! Several courtyards, a nice breakfast area (with Coca Tea), nearby convenience store, helpful staff, and a welcoming 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM quiet time made our stay very enjoyable. The bathroom offers a hair dryer that has both a 220V and 110V outlet for charging your electronics which was very convenient. If you are hiking for any length of time and need your clot... Read more

When you arrive at the entrance you might say oops! It's on a narrow hilly street with an "A" shape stone entrance. Don't let that fool you, once inside you enter a different world. Wood, white stucco, courtyards, fountains, leather couches, an atmosphere of old Spanish days. You almost don't want to go out again. If you do your only blocks away to the main square in the old city. Truly the best of the best in service, atmosphere, breakfast and at a price that won't break the bank. We would go b... Read more

We stayed at Rumi Punku hotel pre and post Lares trek to Machu Picchu. We were picked up from the airport and the staff were friendly and helpful both stays. On arrival we were given some coca tea to help with the altitude. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was great. Would recommend.

A group of us stayed here in December 2016. We had 7 rooms in total, so the review is primarily to let you know that you want to ask for a room off the street and also likely off the rooms on the main floor near the entrance. 205 and 206 were great. very little street noise.

For our first experience of Cusco this was fantastic! The location was close to everything. Staff were friendly and the room were great. Comfy beds and nice hot showers. We did the inca trek and arrived back late- our luggage was already in our room waiting for us which was awesome! We stayed in another hotel for a one night stop over during the same trip as part of our travel agents booking- not as great. Would definitely book here again

This hotel is situated on a dead end street that is only a few blocks away from the main plaza. The immediate area is quiet and not very busy, however, only a few stores down the crowd peaks and laundry mats and restaurants are in abundance. The hotel itself is well taken care of, beautifully manicured and stays true to the style of Cusco. The rooms are quite noisy when guests pass your doors but after 9pm the noise was gone and we slept well, around 6am you may hear the odd guest passing by or ... Read more
