Excellent/ideal location for walking in and around town, very quiet for sleeping, the free breakfast was always fresh & tasty (eggs made to order), very friendly & helpful staff, very comfy beds, beautiful & historical hotel.

The Rumi Punku was our last stop in the great Peruvian adventure. What a great property. It was a fun maze to get to our room which was large, clean and had a great view from the shared balcony. Yes, it you have read other reviews, they really do leave you ear plugs but we didn't need them. To help with city noise request the 3 or 4th floor. We stayed in 402 and loved it. Keep in mind there is no elevator or lift so luggage has to be carried by hand but they did help us get our luggage up ... Read more

First I stayed here two nights with the group I travelled with. Me and one friend stayed in Peru for one more week. We liked the hotel so after a few nights i Pisac we decided to go back. Its clean and the staff is nice. The hotel is nice with more than one place to sit and relax. We liked it and Im sure we will come back.

We stayed here for 4 nights and then another 3 following the Inca Trail. Was a great base to acclimatise and later convalesce. The superior rooms are very comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep. The walls are indeed thin but it didn't impact us. Also (after 4 subsequent weeks) by far the best breakfast we've had it south America. We also used the spa/sauna which was nice. Very friendly & well trained staff.

Loved this hotel. We had a room on the top floor (3rd, I think!) which was lovely and peaceful, great views and a good size. The minibar is amazingly well priced, the shower pressure (and heat!) was perfect, and the beds are comfy. There's also a safe in the room and the breakfast is pretty good. The reception staff were very helpful, laundry was a good price and super quick, and they looked after our bags when we went away on our trek with no issues. Recommend using the spa - $15 per person ... Read more

This hotel was nestled in the heart of Cusco. Everything was in walking distance. The hotel was very clean, hot water, laundry available. They held our luggage while we were gone for 5 days for a trek. The breakfast is included and delicious. I would stay here again when I return to Cusco.

We stayed for 3 nights before doing the inca trail and the night of our return and what a place this is to stay at! It was all about our first stay really as the second was very short after a late arrival. First place was on top floor and far bigger than the 2 of us needed, had 3 double beds a great shower and jacuzzi bath! Incredible views over the rooftops and the wooden decor throughout fitted in with the Cusco vibe. You need 3 days to acclimatise to the altitude so going up the stairs fel... Read more

Clean and big warm rooms, located in a not so big structure with cool common areas to join the wifi. Good Breakfast served from 5 to 10 a.m. (Perfect for any kind of travel). Recommended, but not for backpackers. 110usd 2 people one night.

We stayed here 2 separate nights in July, as part of a trip to Machu Picchu. The hotel is just a quick and easy walk from the historic city center, on a narrow street. From the street, you can easily miss this hotel. It is just one narrow door in a wall. Inside it is very beautiful, with room arranged around two courtyards on three floors. We spend two nights in the Sacred Valley, with only very light luggage. We just left our regular luggage in our room, and the hotel stuff took care of storing... Read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. From the pleasant front desk, to our lovely room with a view (308), to the decor, to the spa which I didn't have time to use but will on my return trip, to the total quiet of the hotel at night ensuring a good sleep, Rumi Punku is a delight. They also have quick inexpensive laundry service (7 soles for 1 kg) and breakfast starts at 5 am so you can partake if you have an early departure. Looking forward to staying there on my way back.
