It is only a few blocks to walk to the main square, but it is away from the noise in the evenings. One of the best markets is just across the street, for some great Peruvian products. The front desk was very helpful and quick to reply to any request. The beds are very comfortable, which is great after all the touring of the local sites and returning from the Inca Trail trek. Service was very good, especially David in the dining area. He always greeted us with a welcoming smile, and paid great ... Read more

One in a hundred. Very roomy and comfortable. Knowledgable, lightening fast professional staff. Resturant breakfast buffet as good as it gets. Dinner and room service worth photographing. I am an American and Econo Inn Cusco makes the best hamburger and fries I've ever eaten period.

The hotel personnel possess a demeanor that is reserved yet friendly. Professional and elegant features are present throughout the hotel. We became particularly impressed with the waiter David, along with the entire staff, for their attention during our dining experience with fresh, delicious creations made by the hands of masters. The intimate dining and service was unmatched.

Stayed two nights while visiting Cusco. The room was large, clean modern with a comfortable king size bed and the staff helpful. The location of the hotel is great. The main problem with the hotel, or at least the room we were in was noise. Our room was at the front of the hotel and only a few metres above street level. The traffic was noisy and we could hear the conversations outside. Most of the rooms open onto a large atrium area which includes the lounge area and dining area. Consequently t... Read more

This hotel is ideally located in front of Cusco's artisan market and is on the main boulevard of Cusco (Ave El Sol) about 7 blocks from the main Plaza (Plaza Del Armas). The rooms are moderately sized and out room facing the main street was well insulated from the road noise. We liked the layout of the hotel with a large main central covered plaza near the reception were you can relax. We stayed here two nights while in Cusco. The hotel itself is very nice. The lobby is all open and bright and airy. The rooms are small and since everything is so open it is always noisy. You can hear all the lobby noise, street noise and noises from other rooms. We even heard dogs barking all night long. Bring ear plugs. I am not sure there is a quiet room because everyone in a group seemed to say the same thing. The hotel restaurant is very good. Lots of options at breakfast. The coff... Read more

Had a 3 night stay here during our tour of Peru. Lovely hotel with large reception area. Food good, staff friendly and efficient. ATM machine only 10 yards down the street. Excellent massages given which are welcome after long journeys and a lot of walking and climbing. Across the road is a huge craft market - very reasonably priced goods. Beware of locals selling goods as soon as you step outside. June is the months the schools all compete in dance festivals and the streets and main square are ... Read more

I spent 2 nights at the Eco Inn Cusco in June 2016. I found it to be comfortable and the location was fantastic. Walking distance from the "main square" with shops, restaurants and historic churches, and directly across the street from a large "handicrafts market" for easy souvenir shopping before flying home. And I loved the fountain-view from my room! I'm not someone who generally sits around in hotel lobbies, but the atrium in this hotel is so pretty and inviting that I actually sat and read ... I was pleasantly surprised by the Eco Inn. Usually hotels in developing countries need a special set of criteria by which to judge. Even in the best of hotels, things can be glitchy in Peru. Water may not be running, or be cold. Elevators may not be working. But, pleasantly, the Eco Inn ran as smoothly as can be. The location is very nice. There is a market across the street. This hotel stresses its "green-ness", but to me they carry it too far. The hallways are dimly lit, and they use these old CFL bulbs everywhere that give off a very cold light, which I found very unpleasant.
