This is G Adventures hub hotel in Cusco. It‚??s not good. So if you are travelling to Cusco independently stay away‚?¶. So the facts and the details. It is an old building with converted rooms in two wings. The far wing (stayed one night prior to I Trail) was dark, dismal and very noisy. G haven't got this right mixing the Yolo Tours and Classic Tours. Party city kept most of our group up ‚?? not the hotels fault but they did nothing to stop the noise despite frequent requests. Ok - So, let's start with the positive - Good Location to Plaza De Arms - 2 Blocks Away (this is - this will make sense to you once you arrive because Cusco is a walking city and you will find yourself walking around a lot & distance becomes an issue of time. There was a free breakfast (5a-10a) - not much selection, but it is FREE!! Now the Cons-The hotel is about accommodations only - no amenities!! The hotel is older, the rooms have the basics - bed and bathroom. The noise level is high an... Read more

Pros Location - 200m from main square. Bathroom - over our expectation. Not fancy, but practical. Clean, to the point it was possible. Generally the hotel is starting to get old. Helpful and friendly staff. Cons Breakfast - Really simple, no fruits. No air-conditioning Dark, and uncozy room.

As title, hotel was selected. Its G adventure's hub hotel, meeting place before and after Lares trek/ Inca trail. I saw many people come and ask, staff told them a terrible high price 1) Weak wifi, cant use it in room. 2) Door lock is funny, it cant lock properly, i need to push it hard (like i want to smash it) to lock. 3) always has lamp oil smell in public area 4) big backpack stayed in hotel during the trail/trek, staff moved it to our room few hours before our arrival and keep the door op... The hotel has good location, OK breakfast and a shower that's more often cold than hot, but the real dealbreaker is the noise. We stayed here 4 nights on two different occasions and rooms, and both times we woke up from noise outside the room. Even people trying not to talk loudly in the hallway ends up doing so, the stone corridors amplifies every sound and there is absolutely NO soundproofing in the doors. Not recommended.

Although the hotel was clean and pleasant and had an ideal location it was very loud in the rooms (as these are set off from large foyer areas with tiled floors and high ceilings). The wifi left much to be desired- although it was advertised as only available in the communal areas it rarely worked. Finally, the breakfast was not worth calling a breakfast when all that was available was bread, jam, cheese and ham. Not coeliac friendly! However if you can wait until 9am when restaurants and cafes ... Read more

Reasonable place and easy access to Cuzco city centre. Downstairs rooms are clean but no windows. We gave 3 dirty clothes bags to the reception to have them washed but they only returned 1. Rest of the clothes they managed to lose somehow (travellers beware). Reception in the late evening / night are manned by staff who could not care less about hotel guests. Service delivery and attitude are poor despite they all expect a tip at every occasion (propinos)

Typical mid-range Peruvian hotel conveniently located 2 blocks from the main plaza. Some rooms next to the main lobby can be very noisy. Complete breakfast including custom cooked eggs is served downstairs. Staff was friendly and laundry service inexpensive and done well but expect next day delivery.

Our window, which opened to the interior of the hotel, was broken and didn't lock. When I asked the front desk to fix the window she rudely asked me what my problem was and assured me that no windows in the hotel locked and that was perfectly fine. When I pointed out to her that any guest or person could enter our hotel room through the unlockable large sliding window (which was at ground level) she said that it was fine. She assured me that all the hotel windows did not lock and that it was per... Read more

This is a pretty typical spanish style courtyard hotel. We stayed here twice, a few days apart, whilst doing a tour with Tucan Travel. Yes, it is noisy, especially if you have a room on ground level adjoining the sitting area (which was also noisy at breakfast given that these rooms are above the breakfast room) but we found a room on the highest level to be much quieter and also a bit larger. The down side was that you had to carry your bag up (and down) all those stairs. We stayed in early Jun... Read more

Located just a few minutes walk to the main square. The twin rooms were OK, comfortable beds but not much room for luggage etc. Wifi was pretty bad. Only worked intermittently in some parts of the common areas. Breakfast was quite nice but the man running it was horribly rude to both me and my friend for no reason. Staff on the whole actually weren't too friendly.

This hotel is situated very close to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. It was clean with an on-suite and a continental breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful with serving me and answering questions I asked. I had my laundry done for a reasonable price and this hotel looked after my luggage, while I sent to Manchu Picchu for the day.

I have to say our stay here was not very enjoyable. It's common for cheaper Peruvian hotels to have nonexistent sound insulation in general, but here we had a room that was on the 2nd floor facing a street that was quite lively during the night. The window didn't have any glass, only shutters, so all noise from the street got right in and I could hardly sleep. Additionally the door had a wide gap at the bottom so any time someone passed by in the corridor (sometimes drunk) it felt as if someone... Read more

Pretty basic. Safe included but many rooms have no direct ventilation to outside air. Very basic breakfast and wi-fi is only available in lobby area. Very convenient for central Cusco and used by lot of tour groups.

If you want a hotel that is comfortable and central to Cusco, then look no further, it's just around the corner from the main square where the cathedral is and there is no shortage of places to visit to eat. The hotel itself is comfortable, it is basic, but when you have so many places to visit and see, a base is all you need. Hot water is between 8am till 10am in the morning so make sure you have a shower in the evening if you plan an early morning start.

Stayed here as part od G Adventures tour and not impressed. Check out is 9am which is ridiculous! Breakfast is stale bread and jam and ocassionally eggs. Rooms are dirty ans dark and shower is rarely hot. We stayed at another place in Cusco for half the price that was so much better. I think this hotel just relies on the tour groups and doesnt bother to try to improve anything!

We switched to the hotel coming from a hostel, what a change. The hotel is well located, close to main square, the historic center, restaurants and shopping places. The girl at the front desk is really nice and helpful. They can get a taxi for you and the taxi will give you good prices for sure. The rooms are oldish, but still confortable with a portable heater. The hot shower is only about 125 litters so you have to take some short showers in order to leave hot water to the next person, otherwi... Read more

Big hotel that caters for Trekkers. They store your extra gear while you walk the Inca or Lares Trails. Good breakfast for Peru, they have fried eggs as well as usual buns, cheese and sliced ham. Good heater in room so good for drying any cloths you want to wash. Walking distance to square with plenty of tourist shops. A few minutes up the street is an authentic Alpaca knitwear shop to get quality clothing.

Here‚??s the plus side: it‚??s close to the happening things, has an adequate if limited breakfast and the rooms are passable. On the flip side I have never encountered a more unfriendly and uninterested reception staff. It made Fawlty Towers look like the Burj Al Arab. The staff were perpetually more interested in watching local TV or up-dating their Facebooks than offering a smile let alone assistance of any kind to clientele. The only staff member who seemed ‚??happy in his work‚?? was the bl... Read more

Stayed here with G adventures for 3 nights in room 358. We hardly slept during our stay due to the noise coming from the bar below (karaoke until 5am). The wifi is virtually non existent can be picked up in some rooms but doesn't work even in public areas. Breakfast consists of stale bread, eggs if you ask for them, ham/cheese and popcorn! The only positive things about this hotel are how clean the rooms are (the cleaners are a credit to the 'hotel') and how close it is to the main square. If yo... Read more
