I had the joy of staying and several different Casa Andina hotels during my trip to Peru, and just like the rest this one was a very good experience. The location is spectacular just within walking distance of the cathedral and several key locations, the breakfast is good, and they were very helpful and offered to store our luggage while we made our 2 day trip to Macchu Picchu (We came back 3 days later and stayed another night). Had the chance to stay on 2 different rooms because of this, fir... Read more

We stayed in Cusco for 5 night.....three in a Guest house at $25 US a night and the last two nites stayed at Casa Andina Classic Catedral at $99/night. The location of the two places are 3 blocks apart. We found Classic Cetedral noisy and needed to ask for a room change. The free wifi was useless unless you are sitting in computer common area. They do offer a super fast WiFi if you wish to upgrade and pay and you are only limited to 4 hour use. Breakfast was comparable. The Floor board i... Read more

Very average hotel although the staff were friendly and helpful. We had to change rooms 3 times before finding one that could be described as reasonable because of noise from adjacent rooms.. Breakfast buffet was very simple.

Though the staff were friendly. The room was neat. However there was a horrible smell coming out of our bathroom. We dreaded opening the door to go to toilet. Refused even to go in there for a shower. Brought it up with reception. Rectified the problem but the smell was back in the morning. Was really off putting. Shame because was not a bad hotel.

This hotel is well placed for the Plaza de Armas and restaurants, etc, The staff were helpful and pleasant. The biggest problem was the hotel was being refurbished and the chaos that was the lobby and dining room when we arrived was very off-putting. The bedroom had recently been redecorated and was large enough, but the window was very small and overlooked another room so the blind was shut all day. The dining room was open the next day for breakfast, which was basic, although adequate. It... Read more

I'n not sure how this hotel got three and a half stars. It just about qualifies for 3. The location is good, just off the main plaza and the decor is bright and modern. Unfortunately the minimalist design lends itself to an air of indifference seen in the staff also.. Our room had no window to the outside but just to the adjacent corridor. Had I been staying longer I would have asked for a room with daylight. The staff were helpful when approached but weren't overeager to make sure guests were h... Read more

Read more

This is not a fancy 5 star hotel by any means. I gave this hotel 5 stars because the staff was incredible when my husband became ill with altitude sickness. Rogelio (I am not sure this spelled correctly) went to the pharmacy for me so I could stay with my husband. The night staff was always available to hook him up to oxygen. They easily and without any hassle arranged for us to stay in the same room since we were unable to travel to Machu Picchu. When you fall ill far from home it's a relief t... Read more

Read more

? excelente, tanto em atendimento, quartos, caf茅 da manh茫, recep莽茫o.

We stayed in Cusco 2 nights and then returned to this hotel after our trek on the Inka Trail. We were able to check in early when we arrived after many long hours of travel and our bags were safely stored while we were gone. Rooms were quiet except the ones on the street on Saturday night, but we were very conveniently located in the heart of Cusco, right off the plaza. Highly recommend. Staff was friendly and helpful.

After having a bad experience at another Hotel, Casa Andina was a wonderful experience all around. This hotel is located just a few steps away from the main square, and everything is walking distance. Staff was helpful with information, breakfast was phenomenal. I would just like to thank all the staff that helped us make our stay a wonderful experience.

The hotel is conveniently located, with friendly staff. Some of the rooms are large and generous, others not so much. We had two triple rooms that were very different. Rooms were also a little noisy, but you won't be sleeping in if you're in Cusco anyway. The breakfast could have been more varied, but it was good quality. My only gripe is that there is no free wireless in the rooms, just at the reception. This results in a permanent crowd downstairs, as people catch up on emails and such. ... Read more

Stayed here for two days and whilst my room looked out to an inner yard, it was nevertheless spacious and spotlessly clean. This hotel, which is part of a chain of 3-Star hotels is very recommendable as it offers a safe and relaxed environment in this busy city and it's position adjacent to the Main Square and Cathedral offers ample opportunity for exploration and sightseeing. The breakfast here was very good and plentiful and all staff was very friendly and helpful.Free WIFI in public rooms, bu... Read more

Very special experience with very special people. The only remark is that had we known there was no elevator available due to heritage preservation we would have pre requested a Floor One level room for the ease of my husband's not having to walk up one talk staircase with his artificial hips (but the May have put him n good stead for our later trip to Machu Picchu which he managed - slowly ). We post asked for a level one room but it was unavailable.

This hotel is right in the heart of Cusco, only steps away from the main plaza. The rooms are fairly basic but the staff were really helpful, especially the manageress and "Rocket", who gave us advice about where to eat & even where we could get wash done quickly. Our first room was rather small & the mattress needed replacing but, when we mentioned this, the staff gave us a much better room for our last night in Cusco. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a moderate priced option.

We stayed here on two occasions, before and after Machu Picchu, and it was a good hotel for this purpose. The rooms are clean, plain and comfortable, although the bathrooms are small and there is little room to put your toiletries out. The shower was excellent, spacious and a good flow with great hot water. The bed was comfortable but wobbled every time one of us even sneezed, it was a strange sensation, but didn't affect us once asleep. The one drawback is that there is no lift, and when I hurt... We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel comfortable and clean. WIFI was slow and you had to be in the lobby or common areas to get it for free. Hospitality was good and the frond desk had good restaurant recommendations. It was not amazing but I would stay here again.
