I only stayed one night here and I had none of the problems that the other members on here have brought up. They gave me a good rate, room upstairs on the top floor with a fantastic view and I practically had the whole place to myself. The room was nice enough, even if a little worn at the edges. There was plenty of hot water and the resident dogs and cat were a plus for me. They offered me a basic breakfast since I had to catch an early ride to the airport and they confirmed the taxi pick up as... Read more

I stayed 3D/2N there. First of all, I would say this place is an hostel not an hotel. For the price you pay 60$/ night you must get a service accordingly which was not the case at all. When I did the check-in the room was not ready. After 1/2h they found me a room to stay but they had no keys of the room!! 1h later they finally gave me the keys while I have to stay in my room. Second, water of the shower was cold. They pretended to fix it but it did work only on the 3rd day of my stay. Very ple... Read more

Although located in a quiet street and having a nice infrastructure, the hotel lacks of service and cleanness. The rooms where not clean, some of them too small. The staff were not very helpful. They lost a sweater at the cleaning service and didn't compensate. The only positive thing is the view which is gorgeous.

You can't beat the atmosphere and views at this hotel. It is a bit rustic, which adds to the charm, but still quite comfortable. We spent a lot of time exploring the multiple levels of terraces and courtyards and really enjoyed the view over Cusco while eating our complimentary breakfast. Beds were comfortable, the room temperature was easily adapted to our desired setting, water was hot in shower. There were enough electrical outlets to charge all of our razors, phones and camera batteries,... Read more

The location is perfect, as long as you're okay with a climb -- it's definitely not in the lowest part of the city, but you'll see so much more staying up on Calle Tanda Pata. The staff are friendly, and the hotel has a resident cat and 2 dogs that are actually friendly and worth petting (unlike the street animals). My room was a bit chilly without a heater (I picked up a cheap one), but it did come with a thick blanket, and it has been warm enough. I would say that they really need to pay more ... Read more

This hotel is really worth staying in. The rooms are very clean, flowers everywhere, the view is fantastic and the staff very friendly. Breakfast is served with a sunny smile and when it is cold the fire is lit in the fire place....staff does really everything to make your stay as comfortable as they can !

we had a charmig welcome and the staff was always happy to give advice and help out as they could. the architecture of the building and the individual rooms is very particular and follows curved shapes, makes you feel a bit like in a fairy tale. the rooms were clean with enough space and we even had a fireplace. the buffet breakfast is served in a "skycube" with over 180 degree view on cusco and it always included fresh fruits and vegs. the downtown is at walking distance, but the neighborhood i...
