Most of our negative feelings about this property are related to our room-do NOT stay in the Triple Inti room. This room is just beyond the glass door leading into the dining area, and so it is next to the kitchen(noisy) and everyone has to pull their suitcase down the stone passageway to get to the front desk(noisy). The only "window" looks out onto this same inside passageway, so no privacy if you open the curtains. If there is anyone in the room above this room, walking across the floor so... Read more

This boutique hotel is in the center of the historic district of Cusco. The hotel was originally a private residence and has a charming center court that is now the restaurant. Wonderful welcome from the staff including the coco tea to help us adjust to the altitude. Our room was off the courtyard and unfortunately there was a very loud group of travelers in the courtyard that prevented us for getting to sleep. The desk was helpful and when we returned to the hotel a day later from Machu Picc... Read more

What a nice hotel! The location is great; itâ??s 5 minutes away from the main plaza (around 2 blocks). Our suite was on the second floor, we had a huge living room, bathroom and 2 bedrooms with very comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. We all slept very well, especially the kids. The hotel is beautifully decorated with amazing Peruvian art everywhere. The courtyard lounge and restaurant are located on the first floor right at the center of the hotel, with a beautiful and very pleasant atmospher... Read more

Such a fun and romantic hotel to stay at. The service was wonderful and the rooms were absolutely amazing! We had a lot of fun staying here after hiking the Inka Trail. The location is great, walking distance to the Plaza de Armas, but still relatively quiet at night.

Good location, very nice common areas and then the hotel fails. Rooms are noisy with a pillow that is the size of a decorative pillow. Hot water is tepid and WiFi is intermittent in the rooms. I Was also charged an alleged 10% service fee because I booked through Expedia that in reality was over 30%. So, buyer beware!

We stayed here for one night as we wanted to stay somewhere convenient yet calm away from the Cusco crazy. Andean Wings was the perfect choice. With a large and bright airy room with a huge comfy bed we felt immediately at home. The courtyard offered pretty place to eat lunch. They also do room service and have a movie channel. The list action is an easy walk to Plaza de Armas. Staff were cheery and friendly. We thought it was good value in a competitive market.

For us we had a total couples only takeover of this hotel. The rooms reminded me of a monastery. We had the smallest room 209. Clean and surrounded by an intimate glass covered courtyard where they serve excellent food. The bar seems like it was a chapel and warmed up with an intimate wood burning firelplace. Pisco Sours are excellent! Employees warm and accommodating. Location to the plazas perfect walk.

There were so many parades and celebrations going on so we heard music, shouting, and fireworks while we were relaxing. This did not bother us at all, sounded like fun so we enjoyed it the next day. We were in room 211. My husband and I really enjoyed that there is a little waiting area with a tv like a living room before getting to our room. Every morning...we opened our window to get fresh air in the room and look at the view before going out and walking. We loved how we could just go for a wa... Read more

We used this hotel as a base when we were in the Cusco region staying one night then heading to Aguas Calientes for a night then returning to the hotel, leaving again for a horse riding trek then returning for a final stay. For the three nights we stayed in three different rooms. The rooms were all unique, lovely and warm with decent hot showers. The second night we stayed in room 208 golden matrimonial and it was a little noisy - we could here people talking outside the room in the evening and... Read more

The hotel staff welcomed us from the moment of our arrival. We enjoyed tea while they processed our room keys and passports. It is spotlessly clean and rooms were well accommodated with comfortable beds. The breakfast had a good selection of breads, meats, cheeses and fruits. The wi-fi works well in the common areas but is too weak in the rooms. The small hotel is perfectly located less than 5 minute walk from the main square in Cusco and you will thoroughly enjoy your stay

My wife and I stayed at Andean wings before and after our 4d/3n trip on the Inca Trail. We liked the location, and were able to walk everywhere once we were at the hotel from the airport. We enjoyed that the hotel was smaller, and we felt known by the staff while we were there. The colonial style of the whole hotel was also an added bonus which we liked. The area can be loud in general in the area (we talked to other people in other hotels dealing with outside noise issues). Our first couple of ... Read more

My fiancé and I stayed here for three days in July 2016. The hotel is well-located and provides free, easily accessible oxygen in a quaint courtyard. The staff are not particularly friendly at this hotel, but I wouldn't say they are unfriendly either. The breakfast is nothing special, but the hotel is walking distance to pretty much everything in the city, close to the Plaza del Armas. Upon check-in, our TV didn't work. They eventually fixed it on the first day that we checked in, but 4 hours... Read more

I'm amazed at the positive reviews. It's true that the hotel has a pretty good location, however I booked a room through a major booking agency and when I arrived they showed me a dark damp room windowless room with two broken down twin beds. I told them it was unacceptable and they upgraded me to a 'suite' for a huge increase. The place appeared to be nearly empty, so availability was not a problem. The breakfast was poor. Intermittent hot water, none at all one day. I would not recommend this ... Read more

We stayed at the Andean Wings for 3 nights while in Cusco. The rooms are really nice and the staff are very friendly and always helpful. My luggage didn't arrive and the guys at the reception have made tons of calls on my behalf and finally got my backpack at the hotel in time for me to leave for Machupicchu. Breakfast was really good, great choice. Highly recommend.

Nice well done hotel. There is a very good breakfast buffet in the interior courtyard. The hotel has a nice upstairs area with TV and couches where we stayed while waiting for a late evening flight connection to Lima after checking out. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful The room was well decorated and the bathroom was spacious. WiFi was free although slow and spotty at times.

He estado en Cusco cuatro veces y este es el mejor hotel que he visitado. Every day they serve a varied breakfast buffet including local products. We stayed four nights with my wife and daughter and the experience was great. PS: They have permanent oxygen for those affected by mountain sickness.

This boutique hotel made our stay in Cusco. It was perfect for a family vacation; the service was first rate. We truly enjoyed the building -- and found the breakfasts to be fresh and delicious. There was no travel issue or challenge that the talented front desk/concierge team wasn't able to handle. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very charming boutique B n B in a great location. You can walk everywhere in the city. The staff is very friendly, kind, and helpful. We stayed here a week. It is very lovely and clean. Very nice cozy bar with fireplace and upstairs common living room for taking a break. Food is well prepared. Chicken soup like homemade. Menu also has Peruvian choices. Highly recommend.

Within 30 min away from the airport. Walking distance from the center of town. The hotel is very classic with antique furniture or beds. The room & bathroom is clean. The heater worked great in the guest room. But the breakfast area is very cold in the morning (in winter time) that made my altitude sickness worse... But overall, we liked the stay there.

The hotel is in the historic centre of Cusco and appears to be a converted villa. The central courtyard now has a glass roof and serves as the restaurant. My room was on the small side as was the bathroom. I must point out that the hair dryer supplied did not fit the hotel plugs. I had to use my travel adaptor. There are no facilities to make tea or coffee in the rooms, but there does appear to be hot water etc available all day near the restaurant

The staff is amazing and the customer service is top notch. Be sure to ask about the cooking class you can take. Also, this is a great hotel for before and after Inca Trail or Salkantay Trek. Andean Wings will make sure you're luggage is secure and even give you boxed breakfast the morning you leave. I 100% recommend Andean Wings in Cusco.

We stayed at the Andean Wings before and after our hike of the Inka Trail. I mention this because they were happy to store our luggage for us during our absence and since we had such an early start they made us a bag breakfast which was very welcome during the bus trip to KM82. The hotel is a short, safe 3 block walk from the Plaza De Armas. Each room is different and the room after we got back seemed like heaven. We stayed at andean wings for a couple of nights were a little underwhelmed considering all the great reviews and the cost! The hotel looks lovely and is in a great location but thats all really. We were very disappointed with our stay at Andean Wings Boutique Hotel. Seeing the great reviews we were willing to spend the nearly $400 for two nights in a mini suite with balcony and mountain view. Unfortunately, our mini suite had been double-booked (through no fault of ours) so we were "upgraded" to a different "suite" which contained an in room hot tub. No balcony. No mountain view. In fact, there was no view at all as there were no windows in the bedroom area. When we spoke with the staff... Read more

We stayed here for about 4 nights acclimatising to the altitude - I unfortunately can't tolerate to coca tea and became quite ill the staff was great and put me immediately onto the oxygen and were extremely helpful. The rooms were really quirky and the place had a good atmosphere the breakfasts were good and the staff were very helpful. Once again the light was very dim in the room and it was really hard to read. The location was good as well.

The is a small boutique hotel that is centrally located with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, my wife and I booked a standard room and it was very small. They wanted $50/night for any upgrade. The staff was also very helpful. I had an emergency situation that I needed to see an eye doctor and they were able to make an appointment with an eye doctor. The hotel itself is fantastic as are they rooms. Unfortunately the major problem we had was our last night before leaving to Machi Pichu at 6am. We attempted to have an early night only to discover that loud music would be played til or past 1:30am without any prior warning, making it impossible to sleep. When we called to ask about this no solution was provided and the reception casually hung up on us twice. Not a great start to a huge trek.

Andean Wings was such a pleasant surprise. The hotel is located just uphill from the Plaza de Armas and boasts a quiet little spot just outside the action. TIP - You should pay S10 to get a taxi from the airport. It was worth it to us to exit the airport gate and find a taxi on the main road to save S15. Fares must be negotiated in advance of travel. We found staff very hospitable and eager to answer any questions we had. We arrived late afternoon and were offered coco tea and a seat in ... Read more
