Big, clean rooms with big, clean bathrooms. Ideally located for a weekend in Trondheim. Beds are big and comfortable, and the staff is welcoming and pleasant. I would absolutely recommend a stay in this hotel, and more than likely will stay here again.

This is a fair hotel and funny concept of "all included". But my room and view was really good. One annoying thing though was that in order to turn off the lights in the entrance I had to turn off all power so I could charge devices during the night.

The location of the hotel is super. It is a few minutes to walk from the nearest stop for the airport shuttle bus, and you are close to more or less everyting in Trondheim city center. For summer visitors a walk to the "Solsiden" (=sunny side) brings you into a lively area with several restaurants/bars worth visiting. The cathedral is also within easy walking distance. The rooms are OK, clean, with comfy beds and a place to do some of your email and office work. Free and speedy WIFI. Breakfast g... Read more

Stayed there for two nights at a buisness trip. Very good location in a nice area of Trondheim, walking distance to harbour ,Solsiden with great food and shops ( if you like sushi i highly recommened Sabrura at Solsiden and also resturant in town) And two min and you are in centre and Nidarosdomen( famous church). So hotell is ok, but it is a bit tacky When it comes ro decoration. Rooms are ok, in beds they should have down and not light wight duvet. Breakfast fresh. Hotell is missing soul, ther... Read more

The hotel is located not to far away from the sights to see in Trondheim, and rather close to "Solsiden", a nice place to walk around hand to have dinner. The rooms are starting to get rather old, and a renovation is due. Once got upgraded to the largest suite on the top floor - a nice touch. The evening buffet and breakfast both holds a good standard. In the top 5 of my favorite hotels in Trondheim.

Rich and tasty breakfast and the late supper meal was very good prepared (salad, Cold-dishes, hot-dishes) - very Nice endeed. The size of the rooms are one of best i've been in. I would say that this hotel is one of the best Choices for families as well as for adults, singles and couples. Books in the room (childrenbooks and others). Good hotel, breakfast was included in the price, we were a little confused regarding the restaurant in the evening though. It appeared that we could also have food in the evening that was also included. You are allowed to help yourself and there was a different choice each evening, it was very pleasant also in the afternoons you could cook your own pancakes. Tea and coffee was available all day. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. If you have a car we discovered that the car park under th... Read more

A nice central hotel in Trondheim. I have also stayed at the other Clarion Collection hotel over the street, and this is the better of the two. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite, and we had a good view from our room. We stayed a warm summer weekend, and the room was a bit hot. Everything in the room was clean. The hotel have a parking garage in the basement, bear in mind that they have limited spaces so if you arrive late you might need to street park. The hotel does not offer charging for ele... Read more

This is the second time I stayed here. Still very happy. Close to everything, big beds , big pillows, They have all sort of little things to help your stay. Laundry with washer and dryer. Even detergents. And free to us. Very friendly front office staff and they do look you in the eye and smile when you come and go. I will return next year again. Perfect place to discover Trondheim.

Came back here again, as I've never been disappointed. Clean, spacious rooms with big showers with good water pressure. Friendly staff, complimentary waffles and evening meal. What's not to like? Will stay another night before I head home - and will definately book again!

The location is great, the service was exceptional and the value was was absolutely very good. I am a travel agent and I will absolutely send my clients to this hotel. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, if anything the only complaint would be that there was quite a bit of noise from the alley outside our window but it was not a huge problem for us. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

The hotel is a bit dated, be prepared for that. You will get the old style keycards with holes in them. No touchless cards here. The bath and furniture may not be from this decade. However, when you are greeted with a warm smile, sent on your way with a smile and small talk and any other person you meet during your stay seem genuinly happy to have you as a guest it makes the experience very good. They serve a free evening meal, this is great as it saves you the hassle of finding a restaurant, o... Read more

We chose this hotel because of it being part of the Clarion Collection, and we are glad we did. Rooms were spacious and ours was quiet. We had one facing the inside street overlooking Hotel Bakeriet, and it was plenty quiet for sleeping at night. Even with our windows wide open all 4 nights, only the occasional foot traffic was heard, and it is easy enough to close the window if that becomes bothersome. The noise otherwise, inside of the hotel, was very low. We were able to rest well here on a g... Read more

good thing is that both breakfast and dinner is included. That is if you're on your own. The arrangement is quite basic, but the rooms are clean and of good standard. It is missing some charm though....

There are boks in the rooms, a great DVD library in the reception, a grand piano, reading glasses that you can borrow. The rooms are huge with kitchy but fun decor. Breakfast was Good but could have a bit more variation. This must be the first hotel where I have been offered cod liver oil w the breakfast. Cool!
