Good service from the front desk helpful and always present, the buffet could have more fruits in the morning, but in total very good, I missed the salmon. My wish for the room to stay in, been no problem at all thanks to Mariell

My favorite Trondheim hotel - good facilities, free evening meal, and nice rooms with bath. Perfect walking distance to almost every place in downtown Trondheim. Professional staff in the very best tradition.

With restaurant prices very high in Norway, it is great to stay in a place that offers all the food you need in the price of your room. In addition to a good breakfast, they offer waffles in the afternoon and each evening a buffet is available including salad, bread, cold cuts, cheese, soup and a hot meal. The soup and hot meal change daily. One night we had make your own tacos with all the fixings and the other night was a tasty pasta. Soups were hot and flavorful. All the food is served in ... A comfortable, conveniently located hotel within easy walking distance of the train station and the Hurtigruten Terminal. The excellent staff are extremely helpful! When we return to beautiful Trondheim this is definitely where we'll stay!

Super helpful and friendly staff. An old bakery has been beautifully transformed into a comfy hotel and still retains historical features like the ovens. Cook your own waffles in the afternoon and have a complimentary supper. Easy to get to city centre and old town. Unlike some other hotels we stayed in during the strike, staff continued to put customers first in spite of the difficulties everyone was working under.

This hotel has friendly personnel, a wonderful building from 1897, spacious rooms, a sauna and other facilities on the top floor, waffels in the afternoon, a great breakfast and dinner buffet, and reasonable prices ... I absolutely recommend it for your stay in Trondheim.

Well situated in town this historical old bakery has photos all round of how it was and has some of the atmosphere left in the dining area. The rooms are disappointing and need overhauling. We had holes in the wall and an electric cable draped across the floor as the wall light had been moved to accommodate the new position of the bed. Carpet was dirty in the corners. Old fashioned box TV. Shabby exterior, could do with painting. Beverages are available in the dining area and on my visit t... Read more

Situated in a tastefully converted bakery well located for exploring the town. Staff friendly and breakfast and afternoon waffles and coffee very good. Evening meal is a self service buffet style repast that should be ample for most people and of a reasonable standard. Rooms are of a good standard, but lack views due to the central location. However, you should be spending your time exploring not sitting looking out the window!

What a charming hotel, located in a former bakery on a quaint, small street. I have stayed here many, many times, and I never get tired of it. It really is my home away from home. The staff are super friendly, and the food (included in the price of the room!) is AMAZING! I highly recommend this hotel.

Bad service. For breakfast the cook was setting up the breakfast, but not with a friendly smile, she was just looking sour and irritable. Then the second the breakfast is over she comes out from the kitchen and starts cleaning, even if people were getting their food, she took the dishes right out of their hands unlike the other clarion collection hotel we stayed at in mo I rana where they held the dishes and food until we all were done even though we came late. Also when they "did" our room, thi... Read more

We recently spent three nights at the CBakeriet Hotel, centrally located in Trondheim. We had a Supeior room with an extra bed. Lots of space in the room, and a lovely, large bathroom (not immaculate, but big). Evening meal is included. We had, in addition to bread, ham, cheese aso., soup, and burgers with green pea stew one night, spaghetti with tomato sauce another. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Located in a quiet area of the city. I did not stay in this hotel but I wish I could. We discovered it and its interest only when already in another hotel (from the same Clarion brand). So I cannot comment on the rooms. But we encounterd a very authentic atmosphere when visiting. It is an interesting place with cosy and comfortable areas around the lobby where you can have a dring or read or rest. Friendly and helping staff

We were particularly pleased with the generous hot breakfast made available early since we had an early departure. Room was clean and comfortable, however the dispenser in shower lacked sufficient soap.

We were in Trondheim for one night and stayed in Clarion Collection Hotel Bakeriet. Clarion hotels have become very convenient for us. When we visit a city for one night, it is very convenient to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. Most Clarion hotels offer a free evening meal which is equivalent to free dinner. You have to buy your own drinks, but you get free coffee. The other important thing about Clarion hotels is the good service provided by their staff. Their staff are trained to do mult... Read more

To start with the positives: the hotel is well-situated, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Sadly, our room was somewhat run down, and there was mildew in the shower. The wall mounted ironing board in room also fell down from the wall at one point during our stay. A backyard facing room meant that it was nice and quiet, but sadly the backyard was quite popular among smokers. This meant that whenever we chose to have an open window, the fresh air was accompanied by a heavy smell of cigarett... Read more

Location is excellent and breakfast is good! The bed and the room is comfortable. Staff are also friendly. Highly recommend! Only shortfalls are dinner time if it is too busy, staff are not quick enough to refill food and some rooms with broken lamps, but overall it is good enough for a 2 to 3 night stay!
