Logistics at meals were no good. We attended a conference = many people. Too much queing. Could have been avoided by doing things differently. No refilling of milk or coffee at times. Glases did not look clean as they were white underneath, probably from soap. Vaitors not paying attention, kept turning around so I got a dirty plate under my nose again and again and agian. I had to back away to avoid the plate every time The edges around the bathtub in my room wasn't properly cleaned. No instru... Read more

Scandic Fornebu is a nice hotel located conveniently near Telenor and many other business offices. The hotel lobby is nice and is a decent place to meet colleagues. The hotel room is very basic but provides what I needed including wireless internet. The breakfast was very nice and conveniently presented for busy business travelers. The hotel is in walking distance of the city bus stop and the bus or a taxi can take you a short distance to the Lysaker train station. The Flytoget train to and fro... Read more

Stayed at Scandic Fornebu for 5 nights, very enjoyable, hotel staff were fantastically helpful. First impression was that the room was a bit small and the beds looked strange but actually had a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast is worth making time for. Bus into Oslo leaves every 6 minutes from up the road and there is a regular ferry about 5 minutes walk from reception so very easy to get into town.

A hotel with a very good location for visitors to the many tech companies located in this area. Located close to the fjord with a good view from many of the rooms. Superb breakfast and and lunch. Sleeping quality was not top rate due to air felt too dry and the beds a little too soft (for me big man). My room was a bit on the small side for two persons - maybe bigger rooms are avilable? Bring your bikecycle - this is a fine area for some exercise :-)

I spent three nights in this hotel and reason to stay was purely job related (location suited well to that purpose). Hotel is quite new but still somehow it did not felt like that. I had standard room and so it felt liked. Very small and everything was aimed to work. So work purposes this suites ok, but not to freetime. If you want to go to Oslo city there is bus going there quite often. Also mornings and afternoons there is ferry that you can use (same ruter 1 zone ticket as with buses). I t... Read more
