The location compels me to choose this hotel in Oslo. The hotel has not really changed, the key cards still do not work consistently, so I always (daily) have to go back down to the front desk to have it fixed - not a good thing when you have loads to carry and are tired....housekeeping seems to have improved a bit.

We stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary. On arrival We got a free upgrade to a junior suite which was amazing as we had our 15 year old daughter with us so she got her own room. The breakfast was just wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful and very nice! We stayed on the 12th floor, the sky lounge was on the 35th floor and the gym was on the 34th floor with an indoor pool. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to go in the pool but overall loved this hotel and will defini... Read more

This place was outstanding. It had it all. Location was nothing short of perfect, near the express train from the airport. Just a short 5 minute walk. The check in was terrific. Friendly staff and very helpful. The room was awesome, the view awesome, and the amenities also awesome. The best part was the "free" breakfast. This turned out to be one of the very best breakfast treats of my 70 years of life.

Although this hotel is very well situated for a late arrival by train into Olso or an early departure, it is in a somewhat sketchy area or the city. I was disappointed with the variety and selection available at the buffet breakfast relative to other hotels I stayed at in Norway. I didn't find the front desk staff that knowledgeable or helpful. The concierge was nice and even printed out my boarding pass since this is not something one can do easily at the hotel.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 nights in April. It is an impressive building with views right across the city. View from the room was excellent, could even see the holmenkollen ski jump structure in the distance. I have noticed a few up and down reviews on here but I don't have any complaints. The breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Room was clean and in great condition. One minor negative is the lack of English speaking tv channels. I liked the location as it is right by a main train station (convenient for daily commute and the access to stores within that same station). Nothing is wrong with this hotel, it just needs to benefit from improvements to be worth its nightly rate. Be ready to experience image freeze on the TV. Also, to Access to the pool/sauna you'll have to follow signs, stairs and wonder whether you're lost or where the actual place to change closing is...

Situated right next to the station, the location is great for any travelers coming off the Express train from the airport. I got a special price through the airline (BA) and for once, I really did get a good deal - great value, nicely appointment bedroom and bathroom (with bath!). Breakfast was also included and there was plenty of choice and availability of seats at peak time. We stayed on the business class floor - the beds were comfortable, bedroom clean and room spacious. Nice room, excellent soundproofing. My room had a most uninteresting view of a blanks wall. Mere steps to train into city, airport terminal. Walking / biking trails near hotel. Room was pleasant if a little beat-up feeling (door frame was pulled away from wall), not unusual for an airport hotel. Wow, this place is stunning! Our room was luxurious with a funky bathroom that tried to look so very modern with fancy fixtures. The food at the buffet was really delicious, and the hotel location was good-right downtown. Good safe walking location, but do be aware of the beggars on the way to the shopping district. Taxi cabs leave you off right outside in the attractive circle. Our tour group stayed here two nights and both were very restful in this stunning first class hotel!

I have stayed at this hotel repeatedly, and never been disappointed. The service and hospitality is always good. So also this time. Rooms are mostly refurbished to a 4 star standard and are clean, with good beds. Noiseless and with a very central location. I have stayed previously in many different hotels in Oslo, and this one is a safe choice. Obviously I will be coming back when in Oslo.

Very good hotel, with perfect location. Next to main railway station and Oslo metro. Best location I could imagine for business. Real orange juice for breakfast and good food. Internet access might be a problem sometimes. I encountered slowness so that was not possible to stream video at all. Basic pages were loaded very slowly. I was here for a very long period of time. The rooms are good and cleaned everyday.Buffet Breakfast contains a large variety of non-veg food. Apart from cornflakes and fruits, vegetarians will face a slight of hard time finding food for themselves. I was on the 21st floor and the view was spectacular. The swimming pool arena is on the 33rd or 32nd floor and you can see most of Oslo city from the windows of that area.

Raddisson Blu Olso is a big hotel as expected. We had a room on 35th floor which offered a lovely view. The room as good size, and bed comfortable. The downside was the air conditioning, it was very hot and the air conditioning didn`t work at all, so we were pretty hot both nights. Rooms are big (for Norway that is), nice beds, clean, great view from room 20xx, quick elevator, friendly staff, short distance to everything and: heated floors on the bathroom! If only UK could pay attention here... So what to improve: Make the breakfast more streamlined. Are there one or two place to get food? Can I get bacon? Is that scrambled eggs? "2, yes and yes". Stayed for one night on business trip. Great view over the city! Staff at reception and lobby bar was extremely friendly and efficient. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of product. Staff friendliness somewhat less then at reception or bar though. Hotel is located just minutes away from Oslo S (central station). Take the train when you come from the airport and preferably NSB which is even half the price of Flytogo Airport express.

This hotel is conveniently located between the city and the airport. It provides all the necessary services for the business traveller. The rooms seem recently refurbished, are comfortable, clean and with amenities such as a beautiful bathroom, tea and coffee tray, safety deposit box, iron board.

Nice facilities for business seminar. All one to one meetings could be arranged in small meeting rooms, speeches in seminar and food available in one place. Hotel was clean and nice with good location close to the train to hotel and back to the airport.

This is an excellent hotel a few hundred meters from the Sentral train station is Oslo. The downstairs lounge is very comfortable and has a good selection of liquor. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless, as you would expect! I have stayed each time we go to Oslo on business. There is easy access to and from the train station next door, which i only twenty minutes from the airport.

Very good location and friendly staff but the hotel feels outdated with cold rooms that feel outdated and could be cleaned better. The food is acceptable but not more thant that. Overall an acceptable experience but not a memorable one.

Stayed for one night. Excellent city centre location and right next door to the train station so easy access from the airport. Good views from the higher level rooms. Staff were very helpful as their internal checkin system was down but this was handled professionally with no fuss and no delay. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

I got this hotel recomended from colleagues. On first site it seems a little outdated and in need of an update but everything is there, looks good and feels great. The only problem i had was with the television, it seems this problem happens a lot in the hotel but i got another room and again another room and eventually an upgrade.

It's a Radisson SAS and they're usually good. This has good and average, but the average didn't affect me. The good : Room - nice, clean, excellent view. Breakfast, plentiful and good The bar on the 33rd - AMAZING views across the city at night Location - a very short walk from central station, FLYTOGET airport express and the coach station... and all parts of the city can be walked to. The average - Swimming pool is on the 34th floor... but with no windows... might as well be in the baseme... Read more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel for our anniversary. The hotel is in a very good location and has the best view over Oslo. We stayed in a very nice and specious room. The breakfast buffet was very good - wide choice and nice presentation. A big thank you for the nice receptionist Malin who made our stay very special.

The hotel is centrally located next to The main railroad station. The hotel has good wifi, but thar is where The good ends. The hotel is dated, old carpets in The Room, The beds are very soft, pillows are poor and The breakfast is NOT great.

The Radisson Blu is centrally located just a short walk from the Central Railway station. The rooms are good with excellent view over the city from the upper floors. Breakfasts were superb with a wide selection of foods. The rooftop restaurant is also very good. Staff were courteous and we were pleased to receive a welcoming bowl of fruit on our arrival.

Stayed here on a overnight on the way to Singapore, didn't have any expectations but the rooms were so cool! Small but cool, great views of the palace! Bus from outside of the hotel to airport was great too! They also prepared a nice take away breakfast for us as we were leaving at 5am! Best feature of the hotel has to be amazing roof top bar!!

I`ve just returned form 2 weeks stay in the hotel. As mentioned in the title it was a pleasant stay, rich breakfast with variety of food to select. Nice view from fitness on top floor and the sauna with the window. Hotel is located across the street from train/bus station, across the street you can find also a shopping mall.

Excellent and friendly service in a comfortable central setting in Oslo. This is my honest unbiased opinion, I dont work for Radission! Food is really good and if you have an allergy or food intolerance they were great at offering alternatives.

My dad and I stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza while stopping in Oslo before undertaking an extensive tour of Norway. We had taken the overnight ferry from Copenhagen, and were delighted to learn that a room was ready when we got to the hotel at 10:30am. (And, when we discovered that the room to which we had been assigned had one bed instead of two, they immediately found us another room, also ready, down the hall.) To be perfectly honest, I wasn't tremendously invested in "seeing the sights" i... Read more

We chose this hotel based on two criteria: proximity to the Central Station and the brand Radisson Blu. The easy access to the Central Station and to many sightseeing is undeniable. However, we were really disappointed with the hotel and the 4 stars rating. The bed was just awful: kind of bouncing bed, when one moves on one side the other jumps on the other! There was a big deep in the middle of the bed, two very high pillows and two individual duvets.. The towels were rough giving us that unde... Read more

We had a comfortable stop over in this hotel before travelling on the Hurtigruten. Beds and bathroom very cosy. Breakfast very good too, No noise from planes either which was good. And it was an easy (but expensive) train ride into Oslo

In the past month I've visited this hotel twice. Must say they're definitely sloppy. Probably because of the huge size of the hotel they can't handle it too well. First visit I got assigned to a handicapped room. With all do respect to the handicapped, I don't feel very comfortable in such a room. There was also some cabinet thing in the middle of the room that was broken. Sloppy. Second visit I got a really awkward room with a huge 12 seat business table and a fold out bed which was very dusty.... Read more

Hotel was very good. The bus stop from the Airport was few minites away. But the check in que was very long. double room was good. My daughter paid the same rate for a single room which was a hopeless small room with a small bathroom. a business hotel not a tourist hotel.

Overall an ok hotel, although the rooms are dated and bathrooms small. The gym and pool is poor, and accessed via a convoluted lift and staircase route - not worth it. The local area is not the best in Oslo, some caution is needed.

I thought this hotel was very well located with excellent staff and facilities. I would recommend to anyone for either pleasure or business but I have one major gripe. On leaving I was told that I would be mailed an invoice and after persistent chasing by mail I have not even received a reply, very poor show.

Great place to stay in Oslo for business. Central, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. The pool and gym are useful and Irish pub has a great atmosphere. Walking distance from the train station, center and shopping areas. Plenty of fun restaurants around.
