It's a fairly average hotel, but in a city the hotels should have proper ventilation in the room, something this hotel did not. Having to sleep with your windows open with the noise of the city outside does not set you up for a good nights sleep. And outside the windows there's a path stretching pas all the rooms, making it uncomfortable leaving the windows fully open, as anyone from the other rooms could come through them. Breakfast was okay.

Average hotel. Perfect location. Just 3 minutes to central station and bus-stand. 5 minutes from air port express. No traffic noises at night. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Has good idea on what to see and where to go. Free wi-fi. 24/7 Unlimited tea or coffee. Modern Gym. Average breakfast.

This is my second time at this hotel. The place is well laid out with good facilities, great staff, and good quality breakfast. It's the best location to get to and from the trains, buses and trams as well as some of the key attractions - main shopping and eating areas, opera house, fortress, water front, Nobel peace prize building, palace, museums etc. are all in walking distance. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic location, just a couple of minutes walk from the main train station and city centre. Good, comfortable, clean room, although bed very soft. A good selection at breakfast, just missing some sweet pastries. Nice rooftop terrace where you can take a complimentary hot drink and relax after a day of exploring the city.

The staff are polite, professional and patient. The rooms small (bigger then Ny,Ny), very clean, beds comfortable, great views on the south side. The bathroom had a heated floor. The free breakfest was the best and most completely laid out of any I have seen. We travel all of europe and this is the best located hotel we have stayed in under $200 per night. 3 minutes walk from the central train station, 7 minutes to the docks for the ferries, 2 minutes to the center of town, small grocery sto... The location is good, just steps away from the Opera House, the waterfront and within walking distance of the hop on hop off bus stop. I chose this hotel in part for its rooftop patio but it was very small and nothing to get excited about, it is mostly a place where people would go have a cigarette.

Nice located in the center of Oslo close to the center and close to the central station. Clean hotel with very polite and helpful personnel. Good breakfast and around the clock free coffee and tea in the lobby. This hotel belongs to the basic type of the chain so the facilities are somehow basic but the room was clean and the Internet connection was reasonably fast

Well furnished gym Breakfast is rich and you can also find typical Norwegian food. Furthermore organic, gluten-free and lactose-free products Suggestion: take some time to discover a stunning view from the 8th floor, possibly late in the day, when colors of sundown makes the panorama warm and intense

We only had one full day in Oslo, so stayed here because of proximity to the train station. Location-wise it worked out great. The room was clean, bathroom large. The upstairs hallways could use some refreshing. The breakfast buffet was very good, with the usual array or hot and cold choices, but with a bit more fresh fruit than we noticed at other places. However, on our last morning, a Saturday, we needed to leave by 8:20 in order to get to the airport in time. The buffet opened at 8, an... Read more

We spent last day of Scandinavian tour here; the hotel had a very modern 'streetwise' decor but was very clean and the breakfast buffet was good. It was located near to centre; time was at a premium but we were able to nip out and 'do' the Akershus fortress as soon as we arrived. The mattress was incredibly thin and I was tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable - even tried lying on the floor at one stage in preference to the bed. There is a homeless shelter opposite hotel - this... Read more

I stayed at the CH/Borsparken twice this week - once in a small double and once in a superior double. Overall I'm a pretty happy guy. It's basic - everything you need and nothing you don't. But it's reasonable price for a great location in central Oslo. Very easy walk from the central station, even if you're dragging luggage. Access to the station gives you easy access to and from the airport. Also an easy walk to sites and services on and near Johan's Gate between the central station and ... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was very comfortable for my wife and I and our 5 year old son. He loved sleeping on a high loft bed. The room was nicely decorated. The breakfast was decent, although extremely crowded. The location is the best feature, given its proximity to the train station. Their roof deck has a great view of the opera house. The price was reasonable for the area.

Chose this hotel because of location near train station and the opera house. Area felt safe, though near the station there were the usual shady types (just be aware of your surroundings). Simple is the word that describe this hotel best, in my opinion. There is nothing special about this hotel. Room is simple, but it is enough if you only need it for sleeping. A bed, a TV and a chair was all there was in the room. Most hotels in Oslo are between $250-300 a night, so we were happy to book the Comfort Hotel for $180 for a triple room. Our room was small, older and seemed worn, but it was clean. Quiet room, good breakfast, and a low price? Unbelievable! For about the price of an AirBnB I booked a small room for two. The room, though small, was clean and neat. The complementary breakfast was amongst the better during my Norwegian travels but lacked jam for toast. Located about two minutes from Oslo's main station, Comfort Hotel Børsparken is easy to find and get to with bags. The roof top terrace also offers a great view of the Opera house.

Close to train station, 8 minute easy and beautiful walk. Bright entry, the hotel registration is at the bar/snacks area which proved confusing to many who entered. Very large area of tables to sit and watch the streets of Oslo. Small elevators, but worked great and never had to wait long (there are stairs too, good workout) The rooms at this place all looked good.... Could see in many of them as we walked in the hallways. Functional and small. The reason I gave such a middle of the road re... Read more

Small and minimalist rooms but clean, very comfortable bedding and lots of electrical outlets. Modern design. Just a fabulous array of good food for breakfast -- buffet style. Very conveniently situated in downtown and close to the main station which services the quick and cheap train from Oslo's main airport. All staff very friendly, helpful and efficient.

The rooms are very clean. Only problems the pillows are extremely soft. Breakfast is outstanding. So many choices. It is centrally located to the heart of Oslo. The staff are very helpful. Room prices are reasonable. All in all a very nice place to stay.

I stayed at the Comfort Hotel on two occasions earlier this year. It is a basic, hotel, does exactly what it says on the tin. Staff were friendly and polite. A complementary breakfast is served each morning with a selection of bread / meats / cheeses and cereal. One minor complaint was that the curtains did not block out the light entirely - the width of the curtains was a little short of the width of the window, so they didn't fully close. Strangely, the doors open outwards and you need to... Read more

We were keen to visit Oslo but knew very expensive to stay eat drink etc. So we were very happy to stay in this hotel - good clean comfortable room in a central location near main railway station. Free coffee any time of day was very welcome - a coffee out costs several euros/pounds. Although breakfast room was a bit canteen style the choice of food was excellent and a good chance to "fill up" before a busy day sightseeing .
