Traveling around Africa and staying often in Accor's Hotel, Ibis Ikeja is above what you can expect from an Ibis. Name it Mercure, I would not be surprise. Cleaniness, sense of hospatility, style, is just above standards. It was my first trip to Nigeria and as such you have some preconcived ideas about the country. The friendliness of the GM helped much. I recommend this place. Mathieu (France, Alsace)

I was at Ibis hotel in Lagos in march 2016 for 2 days. I was impressed of the hotel, great place nice and clean. The room was clean and very modern. All the staff are very helpfull. Only one thing i consider minus i had to wait for my food like 2 hours. Breakfast excellent.

I prepaid for the stay at the Ibis hotel , the staff however could not verify the funds although the payment was done a week prior to my arrival date and was done through the travel agency. The hotel is decent and the rooms are clean. The breakfast menu is average and similar to all Ibis hotels standards. On the positive side, the hotel is very close to the airport and offers free shuttle to the airport. I however booked an Avis Taxi from the airport to the hotel costing N5000 and return to the ... Visited the Ibis Lagos Ikeja hotel recently. Located in a prime area on Toyin Street in Ikeja, it is in a nice area. The hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were nice. However there was a huge leak from the fire water sprinkler system that had flooded one of the floors and this took forever to fix. Nonetheless a good hotel.

It‚??s an Ibis. If you‚??ve stayed in one before, then that should tell you all you need to know. Accord hotels, the masters of pre-fab, aren‚??t usually my ‚??go-to‚?? option. However, what I might have given 3 stars to in a European capital, gets a 4 star in chaotic Lagos. Why? Well, because the basics are all there: Fast free wifi (around 7mbps in public areas, 4mpbs in the rooms ‚?? good enough to stream), a very comfortable bed, compact but functional room and bathroom, basic ... Ibis Ikeja is only a few minutes from the local airport in Ikeja. Stayed there with the family for a night at the end of July 2016. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the free airport shuttle to the local airport was on time in the morning. Overall, it's a very convenient place to stay when you have an early morning flight to catch. I would stay there again and again.

This was exactly what I would have expected of an IBIS traveling abroad: compact room with comfortable double bed with two hand towels, two small bath towels, tiny bar of soap, miniature toiletries, tiny refrigerator, safe & cable TV. We experienced gracious service at every level. Pre purchased dinner buffet which included large selection of local cuisine. Meat variety included chicken, beef, fish, & goat. Also enjoyed soup, fruit selections & desserts. Also large breakfast buffet included wit... Read more

Dear, Came here for business. Evening just wanted to have a rest after working day but unfortunately some birthday. Many people, very loud, very very long waiting time. Sitting at the bar it tooks 30 minutes until someone saw me. I'm foreign project manager for an international company but I had the feeling to be invisible, local population first. Then it took 1h30 minutes until I received my food. Buffet with so many people, forget it. Room cleaning is done only 70%, not change shampoo or bath... Read more

Security, bar and restaurant staff are very pleasent. Hotel priced food rather than local but by North European hotel prices very reasonable. Large bottle of beer equates to £2 uk and a lovely main course Nigerian hot pepper fish soup with Koka fish is around £7. Also international food. Good buffet breakfast. Small outdoor pool. One problem was paying with international credit and debit cards like Visa and Mastercard. The terminals did not like international cards and therefore you have to p... Read more

A simply nice, lovely and clean place to stay. A budget hotel too. Seamless and swift checking in procedure and warm staff. I won't mind being back there at all. I am not sure of the availability of wifi nor did i have any meal as my stay was very short and I had to catch a flight out of town in the wee hours even before the breakfast time. The hotel is very close to the airports in Lagos particularly the domestic airport. Generally, i commend the hotel as I hope they keep up the standard.

This is standard Ibis hotel with the same layout and at a very good rate. In fact, breakfast was included in the rate and there was a welcome drink. The staff were very helpful and polite. Wifi was a bit slow. They also offered airport pick up and drop off.

I was forced to use this hotel as a convenient layover, as I arrived at the international airport late and had to take a early domestic flight out. The staff are friendly and courteous. Room was average and generally clean, but what do you expect for the location and price. Bed was comfortable, water was hot but very low in pressure. Breakfast was locally orientated, at least the fruit selection was decent. what I miss in African hotels is decent coffee, here you get instant and that's that. One... Read more

The staff were friendly, room was clean and did not have any offensive odour. However, I was worried that they had only one bar man cleaning up after over 15 tables. He would clear the tables, clean them, attend to customers and I am very sure he still had to wash up the cups he was piling up behind the bar. Also, I asked for 2 tots of drinks but I an sure he gave me 1 for the price of two cos when I asked for another tot, it was exactly the same size as the one he said was two. I called his at... No water. Air conditioning broken. Safe not working. Multiple advice to hotel but seemingly incapable of dealing with it. An embarrasment to the otherwise reliable Ibis brand. Never again at this place. Lots of better places in Lagos.

Visited last year , desperately in need of refurbishment with smelly carpets and rooms crying out for an upgrade.Breakfast is still excellent to international standards.Reasonably priced but would rather pay more for an upgraded hotel.
