I am generally a Hilton Brand Loyalist. I use Hilton Brand anywhere i travel. Hilton Abuja is like a home to me, i have mde aquantances with most of the front desk staff on the 10th floor. The executive floor complimentary breakfast and dinner is better than other Hilton offerings. Rooms are always clean, and the client service staff always willing to do extra to make up for any shortfall.

Transcorp Hilton hotel Abuja is situated in the capital city of Nigeria. I choose the facility whenever am in Abuja for business and conferences, because the hotel is centrally located from where you can easily access most government ministries, and diplomatic offices. At the last count I stayed in Transcorp for three days. There are varieties of bars and restaurants within its premises, local African foods, European, Asian cuisines and Mediterranean. It's always a awesome experience coming back to the Hilton anywhere in the world. From the point of reservation to check out was very commendable. Room is very neat , food in the restaurant especially breakfast time, is out of this world. My meeting went well and the banquet staff were very prompt. Much more, it's so comforting seeing the security presence everywhere.

A wide array of full-service facilities available at the hotel, everything from tailoring services, travel agents, car rentals, etc. Very, very convenient. This time we got a corporate rate that made the stay well worthwhile. Security is good. Power, internet, and TV are good. There are many restaurants to choose from. I had a great experience at the Hilton Abuja. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and professional. They must be well trained. Food was really good. I am aware that some of the rooms are currently being renovated, that should improve the overall expereince even more. Will definitely come back

This is a vastly overpriced hotel. The fittings and fixtures are very dated, seeming to hail from the 1960s and 1970s. My room had a badly broken countertop in the bathroom, probably unhealthy and unsafe re germs in the cracks of the broken counter, as well as the loose, sharp shards of ‚??marble‚?? easily dislodged. In the West that might be enough to get a place suspended or shut down, not sure. This hotel does not deserve the name Hilton. Also the chocolate brown colored bathroom fixtures ar... Read more

Nice hotel, efforts are seen to improve on the quality of service and amenities. A wonderful experience which I'm willing to experience anytime I'm in Abuja and also very willing to encourage others to have a taste of.

This hotel has all the features of a big business hotel, with some downsides. The regular rooms are straight out of the 70s (or 60s?), and not in a good way. Bed is very nice and comfortable, but the furniture and fixtures desperately need an update, not to mention the musty hallways. My closet smelled like someone peed in it. The sink, tub and toilet are that awful peach color, and the tub is set so high it's treacherous to get out. The diverter knob on the shower was broken off and it was di... Read more

Don't be shocked by the 70s decor. I found it interesting especially the orange room I had. I wanted to rate the hotel 3 and below as they moved me to another room at 8pm due to renovations but they did a great recovery effort by offering me complimentary meals. I thought that was stand up and extend my appreciation. Their bill payment system is awful if you pay with a foreign credit card as they convert from Niara to USD and charge you in USD. If you are on expenses you need to convert to ... Read more

Best place to stay in abuja. We always stay in the 2room apartments and it's very spacious. Beds are comfortable with very soft pillows. Room service is great too but my favorite restaurant is the Zuma grill. I'm afraid I'm partial to their foie Gras & duck Confit. There are several other restaurants and bars to choose from. U really can't find a better hotel in Abuja.

Generally the staff are friendly and very helpful. However, they need to improve on the turnaround time for their check-in and check-out. I see the hotel as a very big impersonal business center. Its major advantage is the central nature of the hotel.

This hotel is very popular in Abuja. It is expensive but the facilities are great and staff very friendly. Breakfast was great and dinner too. Again expensive. The rooms are old and have to get a revamp! Not great for a Hilton hotel!

Had a great stay which is usual of this hotel. From the reception all the way to the room, the restaurant, the bar and the room service, the service rendered by the staff of the hotel were quite pleasant and of high quality. A combination of all these made my stay very pleasant.

My stay did not start well, waiting from 2pm to 5pm before i finally got my room. There were plenty of people with the same issue that day. Some staff remained friendly, some others did not cope with the stress well. Rooms are outdated and need refurbishment, certainly for that price and being Hilton. Breakfast and bars are ok. Fitness is hidden in a dark corner and needs to be refurbished as well.

The hotel was a little island of functioning services that after a number of hotel stays in other Nigerian states, was very nice to come back to. Well run, clean, with a large variety of amenities---and a huge pool---it was wonderful to be able to stay there.

I paid $400 per night for this hotel. The rooms are not great. I didn't sleep well because of the elevator bells. The amenities are average. The food is fine, better than average for Nigeria. But really I can't believe the price.

The hotel is in a bit of disrepair, but still one of the nicer places to stay in Abuja. They are re-doing the top floors currently. The pool area is very nice. The gym is a bit crowded with machines packed in. The restaurants are all decent; good Suya. The staff try hard to please, but often fall short and can be dogmatic about their illogical processes. E.g. on multiple occasions, I've had issues when checking in and the front desk staff will tell me I need to call and talk to the reservations ... Read more

The Transcorp Hilton is the pre-eminent hotel in Abuja. It is where all the movers and shakers in Nigerian society stay. It is the epicentre of political lobbying. The hotel buzzes with restless energy and provides a fascinating insight into Nigeria's elite. That notwithstanding, it is horrendously expensive with one of the lowest value to cost quotient of any hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the world. Staff are despondent and demotivated. Food is high quantity, high carb and low subtlety. Ro... Read more

One of the best properties in Abuja. its always full, very expensive, but yet it takes forever to check in and out. i would say it takes 15-20 mins to check in or out. very busy lobby. rooms are comfortable, quite a few restaurant options are available. room service comes pretty fast. i got a bowl of greens with 3 processed cheese when i ordered for Caesar salad! its very centrally located to go to various government offices.

like mots businessmen in Nigeria I have been coming to this place for decades. Over that time it has declined in service and civility and increased in cost, everyone comes here to be seen. it is the in place to watch for celebrities, which in Nigeria means politicians. The rooms are tired and always have broken lights, blocked sockets and non working wifi. the generators are under powered so when its hot the a/cs struggle to cool the room. the food is variable. they apparently do more room... I stayed twice and the rooms and bath were fine, though a bit dated. Overall, everything was clean and functional. The decor (color schemes, design) reminded me of buildings constructed in the late 1970's early 80's, though I understand they are updating the building, I just didn't see that section - the hotel is enormous! The gym was large, but crowded. The pool and surrounding area was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful, though as I find typical in many hotels, it is difficult to get staff... Read more

Hotel is slightly dated but this seems to be the norm for all hotels in Abuja. Very expansive grounds, a lot of facilities. Nice swimming pools and food options. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel seems very secure from safety point of view. Probably will be going back and will stay here again.

I always stay at the hilton largely because you get value for your money. No surprises. Food is great with a lot of options. Rooms are very comfortable. You can easily secure and have business meetings conviniently and as late as you want if you're having a busy schedule. Above all, you can easily access various parts of town for business and pleasure. It would be important to mention that they are currently undergoing an upgrade/renovation. Transcorp Hilton hotel Abuja This is a safe beautiful sanctuary in the middle of Abuja. From the moment you enter the gates you feel safe and at home not to mention a little spoiled given the 5 * treatment you receive. Check in was a pleasure and after the heat of the arrivals hall, delays at immigration and the 35 min drive from the airport to the hotel an ice cold bottle of water was a much needed relief. Not cheap but all the rooms of which there are many are very nice and air conditioned ... Read more

The Transcorp HIlton in Abuja is an excellent hotel in Nigeria's Federal Capital with ample amenities and facilities on the grounds for the discerning guest, whether for business or pleasure. It also serves as the business and social nerve centre for the City and ensures that from check-in to check-out one can enjoy a seamless experience without needing to leave the confines of the hotel.
