I booked this hotel based on other reviews. The owners and staff made us feel like guests in their own private home. Champagne upon arrival, homemade cookies in the room, any requests and information was readily available. The location is perfect. The room was so cozy and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful with a nice variety of options. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. It will be our destination for our return to Queenstown.

Great location for this private hotel in Queenstown, wonderful hosts. Very comfortable rooms, I have stayed there 2 times during my trip, first room was a bit small, bit the second one just great, although both of them were very stylish. Amazing breakfast, I recommend eggs Benedict, simply fantastic! I also recommend their day spa Glow, It was very helpful after the long trip, and two hours special treatment was just in time!

We had a wonderful stay here for a few days. It's in a great location, just up the hill from central Queenstown - far enough to be very quiet, but still just a short walk away. Rooms very nicely furnished, great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The hot tub is great too. The only minor downside was that we could sometimes hear guests walking around in the next room - maybe the walls are a bit thin? No problem sleeping though.

This hotel is simply great, the staff and owners are very helpful and well organised. Their recommendations and booking for restaurants were great and top notch. We learned a lesson on the first night as we just ate at the first restraint we found and it was over priced and mediocre. We then followed the advice of Ulani the assistant manager and she helped us book great restaurants for the rest of our trip. The breakfast is great ( Eggs Benedict Salmon always a winner). Highly recommended establ... Read more

This is a first class hotel. Not huge but very luxurious. The rooms are beautifully furnished and lack nothing any 5* hotel has, including home made cookies! We were greeted with a lovely glass of sparkling wine on arrival from the owner Charlotte, a charming lady who was extremely pleasant and helpful. The bed in the room was superb! Huge but more importantly firm and after sleeping on extremely soft and unsupportive mattresses the past 4 days, very welcome! Free wifi is excellent! Breakfast ha... Read more

The Dairy has everything you could ask for. This was our first time to New Zealand, and Richard (and the rest of the team) were incredibly helpful with orienting us to Queenstown, offering recommendations for activities and dining, and arranging reservations. The location was fantastic - a short walk to the city center and the gondola, but quiet at night. The room was quite comfortable - we stayed in a Premier Executive room, and found it to have ample room for ourselves and our bags. They also... Read more

Stayed for just one night - a rare night away from the little ones! Was a very comfortable stay. A very relaxed yet friendly welcome - bubbles on arrival, comfortable room, good location, great breakfast. All in all a perfect place to escape to. Thank you!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel very central to the town centre. Our room was a little bit on the small side for the amount of money that we paid, however it was nice, bed was comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed included robes and home made cookies which was a very nice touch. You also have a good selection of healthy cooked and continental breakfast to choose from. Everything was delicious. Apart from the expensive price, I would recommend it to anyone.

We have just had 2 nights at The Dairy and enjoyed our time there. The Manager on duty, Ulani, was very professional and friendly. When we arrived we were given a glass of bubbles and shown to our large room - 13 - which had everything we needed. The location of The Dairy is excellent. 100 metres down the hill then down 40-50 stairs and you are in the middle of town. Going up the road in 5 minutes you are at the Gondola. We enjoyed the breakfasts and there is an excellent selection. Meals were ... Read more
