Great place to stay! Very happy and will definitely stay there again! Super professional, friendly and very helpful! Being able to leave our bags their for 5 days in between stays while we hiked the Milford Track was so convenient. Highly recommended and would stay there again. ; )

Well needed pampering and luxury after 5 days afield. Comfortable towels & sheets. Also we forgot our iPad in the room & they quickly contacted us and then sent it to us at our next location many, many miles away. Thank you Richard and Charlotte. Fog

The Dairy was such a treat while in Queenstown! Greeted with a glass of bubbly, directions around the property, and tips for the area by co-owner Richard. Beautifully appointed rooms, comfy beds and bedding, and superb location. I highly recommend!

We were in NZ 12 days, winding up at The Dairy for the last three. It was a marvelous place, beautifully furnished, the best omelette in the world, great location, wonderful personnel! We had a room on the first floor, excellent bathroom, spacious and clean. I could have stayed longer. The Dairy is wonderfully accessible both to town and its many restaurants and botanical garden as well as to the lift to the mountaintop. Charlotte greeted us and made us feel welcome. A really special place!

The friendliest of welcomes with a glass of bubbles. Quaint hotel, room was cosy, comfy bed. Couple things in bathroom needed attention (shower leaked, missing door hooks - to hang robes after hot tub). Room had small balcony on Main Street with lots of passing traffic to gondola and crazy golf, slightly noisy but good for people watching! Use of hot tub. Breakfast great selection of food, choice of 3 time sittings Short walk into town.

My husband and I started our New Zealand vacation with 4 nights at The Dairy and it was perfect! We weren't sure what to expect when the travel agent showed us the exterior pictures, but this is a gem! Our hosts, Ulure and Charlotte made us feel so welcome and were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The breakfasts included were absolutely delicious every morning. Easy walking distance to all of Queenstown. We highly recommend this lovely, comfortable, quiet and conveniently loca... Read more

We were disappointed. They don't mention the stairs everywhere. Pack light because you have to get your heavy suitcase up the stairs only to have a very small room with hardly any space between the edge of the bed and the wall. The bathroom had no shelves and we had to leave our toiletries on the bed. Down the stairs and back up some other stairs to go to breakfast. Breakfast was good. The young lady who received us was very nice and quite helpful, so we gave a 3-star rating. We wish we had stay... Read more

This was our last stay in NZ before returning home - it wasn't quite save the best 'til last but was not far off. The welcome from Ulani, her dining suggestions and arrangements together with the accompanying glasses of Kiwi bubbles made for a great start. Our room was neat, very comfortable and well presented. Breakfast was an enjoyment in itself with plenty of cooked-to-order choice; it is taken in the old corner shop, 'The Dairy'. Location wise - The Dairy is in easy walking reach of the cen... Read more

The location is a convenient walk into town and moments from the gondola. Our room was extremely clean and tastefully furnished (although a second luggage rack would have been good). The shared lounge areas have books and magazines for guests. Breakfast is served at three set times and includes cold and hot dishes, everything we tried was delicious and the servings are generous. Ulani, the assistant manager was attentive, extremely helpful and very friendly. She suggested venues for dinner and o... Read more

Central but serene, atmospheric but extremely comfortable, this boutique hotel mixes tradition with modernity to create a welcoming environment from arrival to departure. We were driving to a wedding so declined the proffered bubbly on arrival but the greeting from the manager was friendly and very helpful. The room was quiet, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast next day was delightful, in a charming dining room, again with excellent service.
