We chose the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel as a last one night stop on a week long trip and it was certainly a friendly place to stay. We had a large Remarkables room with a fabulous view both of the park and the mountain to the side of us. I had asked for a quiet room and it certainly was quiet, we had just about the best sleep of our whole trip. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows nice and fluffy and we had a large glass walled bathroom with an enormous shower and a separate bath. T... Read more

We stayed at the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel for 1 week for my wife's birthday in a Gondola room. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and very well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot speak highly enough of the team Karen, Fran and Marika. We particularly enjoyed the wine tasting and canapes around the fire each evening and it was great to meet the other guests staying at the Hotel. Location is excellent a few minutes stroll into town and very quiet. Would highly re... Read more

The perfect hotel for Queenstown. Skip the big lame chain hotels and stay in a place that's better, closer and so much warmer. It's five minute walk from downtown and three minutes from the gondola chair lift and the hilltop overlook. Walked in and we were immediately greeted by Karen, a woman so nice and kind and who sincerely wanted us to have a good stay in town. She was like our local mom. The room was modern, comfy and spacious. With a large patio! Every night there's a wine and apps hour i... Read more

I don't normally write reviews on hotels, but this place was exceptional. Very friendly staff with lots of helpful advice. Great location, a few minutes walk to town. Lovely drinks and canapés each night by the fireplace. We stayed in one of the larger rooms, had everything we needed and was well heated, a definite must in Queenstown. Quite fun watching the parachutes land in the park opposite the hotel, below the Remarkable's. Overall, this is a nice and friendly place to stay. Chris and Bex.

Following 24 hour travel day, my major need was comfort and sleep. I caught a cab and arrived within 15 minutes to this lovely hotel tucked in the hills of Queenstown. I was warmly greeted by Karen and given exceptional customer service as I checked in and inquired about dining and the town's sites. I think Karen might have saved me $100 in avoiding bad decisions. Thank you dear! I was only there one night so opted to stay in the downstairs gondola room because of its huge tub. The winte... Read more

My second time round at this lovely hotel. So nice to stay in a hotel that has an interesting room layout and elegant decor, so many hotels are same, same. Also the guest 6pm canapés are a special touch that you don't get in many hotels. Adds a real personal touch and gives a chance to talk to other guests. This time round I tried the breakfast option which had good vegan options and friendly staff. Thanks to Karen and the team, love your work!

My husband and I stayed during the winter festival. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The upstairs room balcony unfortunately does not have furniture. The down stairs rooms did appear to have outdoor furniture but not the view. The evening complementary drinks and canapes were a lovely touch. Paula entertained us both nights, she was professional, interesting and had a great sense of humour. Rooms have a small kitchenette, the bathroom lacks space and room to put your own items out.... Our stay here was fantastic, there was nothing we would change. From a warm friendly welcome, to the brilliant room where every tiny detail had been considered, to the delicious breakfast, it was faultless. We were offered wine/beer on arrival, shown to our room where all the essentials were explained - great blackout blinds, underfloor heating was switched on for us, free fudge! Fantastic location and will definitely be back!

I enjoyed my brief stay in this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room well thought out and spacious with lots of useful features. Excellent quality and good value for money. The location is handy to town and with around only 20 rooms, the feel is very personal.

I went to Queenstown for a few times and tried so many hotels as well, but I think this is the best hotel in Queenstown so far. The room was nice, spacious, comfortable. Everything was just superb and modern.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Eduardo who was on the desk. We had opted for a package with breakfast included each day (these are beautiful a la carte breakfasts complete with pastries, juice, hot beverage. No lukewarm buffet here!). We had also booked a wine and chocolate dipped strawberries option and this was waiting for us in our room alongside some samples of delicious locally made fudge. Despite being very cold outside the hotel was beautifully warm and ... Read more

This hotel is simply marvellous. Stayed here for 4 nights and never ceased to be amazed by the gorgeous room every time I walked into it. It was beautifully furnished, modern yet elegant and the bed was extremely comfortable. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us with check in. Throughout our stay we were able to ask for recommendations about activities and the best places to dine and I can say with complete confidence that we were never given bad advice. We came ... There is no other place to stay in queenstown but here. The Remarkable view rooms are superb, drinks and gorgeous canapés every night where you get to meet the other guests and find out where is good/not so good to eat or visit. Karen and her fabulous team are so warm you almost feel like there family, they go to great lengths to make your stay perfect. Very short walk to all the restaurants / bars - great location. Wish we were still there actually!

There's always some risk with smaller boutique hotels. Well run boutique hotel which ticks all the boxes. But not here. Clean, modern, responsive, close to town action, nice breakfast, evening canapés, great view and comfortable bed and settings. Wifi only disappointment - needs upgrading.

It's 5-10 mins walk to Queenstown mall and 5 mins walk to skyline and kiwi bird life park. It has a nice view of Skyline too. They served pre dinner drinks and canapés around 6pm . They have mini kitchenette which was very helpful so we can heat up some foods . They let you borrow their umbrellas which was very handy when we visited because it was raining for 2 days ! They have some mixed up with our reservations because we were booked by our travel agent so everything was prepaid for us but th... Read more

What a wonderful spot and glorious hosts. Beautiful rooms and the most friendly hosts you will find anywhere. A short walk to the middle of Queenstown, but beautifully quiet and tranquil. Sitting around the fire being served beautiful Central Otago pinot supported with delicious canapés was a highlight.

Quaint little hotel located at a quiet spot near the city. Walking distance to most places of interest. Daily drinks and canapés were a nice touch and the basement complimentary car park a great design for guests. Only issue I had was a connecting door to the next room which I could hear the neighbours. Apart from that, everything was cleverly designed and cosy!

we are a family of 3 and had a great time in Queenstown. The hotel was well maintained and most importantly the staff were excellent. They went out of their way to help us and answer all our queries. The rooms were clean and the fire place was just fantastic. The view of the gandolas and the paragliding landing opposite our hotel was the icing on the cake.

This is a super boutique hotel, very chic and stylish. We had the tower suite, brilliant for a family, complete with sitting room/ kitchen area. Very comfortable, a lot of attention to detail, cosy fire. Well located and a very good base from which to explore the area. Very helpful staff who made good recommendations and who were in every respect keen to help us have a good stay. Highly recommended, an oasis from the bustle of the town.

We spent two days in the Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel in August 2016. The staff are super welcoming and helpful with recommendations. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. They have a great happy hour at 6pm. The hotel is located just outside the main part of the town, an easy walk to everywhere and everything.

We thought to have a 2bed apartment for two couples may have been more to save money and was only 4nights to compromise our private areas, but it was not space limiting at all. The big modern living/kitchen area was fantastic as a heart of the house because you sat, and either watched the view of beautiful forest, or try spot the mountain goats and sheep under the gondola whilst sipping a very tasty beverages or cooking a meal. Good stocked kitchen, decent sized fridge however my only faults to ... Read more

A fantastic hotel located just minutes from the town centre. Our room had a great view of the mountains and gondala. Wonderful staff that went out of their way to help us. Clean, fresh, modern, spacious rooms with blackout blinds. Excellent breakfast and complimentary fudge which was a lovely touch. Plus complimentary beer/wine and canapés for an hour each night. Great hotel! The staff were fantastic and helpful. It's only a 2 minute walk to the town from the hotel via the sports ground path, which is great if you're heading to the The Station with all your ski gear to catch the bus to the snow. Canapes and drinks from 6 - 7pm in the hotel foyer were a lovely treat. The room had a mini kitchen which was handy for early breakfast when going to the snow. The hotel overall was very good. The best points being the staffs attentiveness and attention to detail, the standard of the room and the location. My only negative was our room was at the front of the hotel and it was very noisy during the night with people walking past talking/shouting all through the night. Obviously the hotel cant do much about that apart from maybe installing better double glazed windows to help block out the sound.
