We were on the 8th floor , our apartment was well set up and well equipped for our weekend stay. Shower fan was a bit noisy and above shower could have done with a clean. Apart from that very comfortable beds, extra blankets in cupboard if needed. (Heat pump available) Would be great to have a music station in the apartment rooms. Sofa a bit uncomfortable sink in it a bit to much. Would definitely stay again due to the tidiness of the place and the great staff on reception. Location great

Our 2-bedroom suite up in the 10th floor was our home for the 5 nights that we stayed in Auckland. It had everything that we needed- cooking appliances, cookware, utensils, dishwasher. The spacious bathroom had a washer and a dryer. The hotel is near a supermarket and a convenience store (open 24 hours) plus some restaurants. If you're taking the public transport, there is a bus stop right next to the hotel entrance. We liked that the hotel is within a 10-minute walk to Britomart and Queen St., ... Read more

Only 2 minutes away from Queen street and with many bars and restaurants nearby, this is a very good and affordable option if in town. Rooms are large, with lots of light and nicely furnished. Breakfast area and assortement is so-so, yet other than that nice place to go. Parking, despite of beeing told as ' house ' parking, is near, but not within same building, so upon checking in, drop your luggage first and then go to park

3.5 STARS. Average to Good. Room is good and spacious and had all the facilities we needed with the little kitchenette. Quiet environment. Customer relations was quite stiff though as 1st impression although accommodating. Thought parking was quite a hassle. Prior to booking, we asked about the parking. Extra $25 for parking fee which we didnt really mind but how and where was very confusing. Park by the kerb to unload our luggage, push the luggage trolley by ourselves, quite unexpected to get... I stayed a week and it was very pleasant. Nice room. Beach Road is a little noisy so stay at the back if possible but its not a biggie. The centre of the city is about 900m away as are some great places to eat. The apartments are also less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket which has everything you need. I've stayed more than 1x and will be staying again soon. Well worth it but it gets booked quickly and becomes quite pricey so book early.

OMG, we loved this place! This is pretty much a regular, modern apartment with a washer/dryer in the unit and a full supermarket almost next door. It was also within walking distance of everything we wanted to do/see in Auckland. I could imagine living here for months if I happened to be working locally for awhile. We loved it so much that we booked it again for when we returned to Auckland before leaving for home. Note: WiFi was free with our particular booking. I don't know if it always i... Read more

This was suggested by NZ family so we booked it without second thought. Serviced apartment was in good condition and clean so had no reasons to complain.. However, there were two things that really fell short; the "free" internet and the access to the property. The internet was practically non-existent in the room and when it was available, there was literally no service. In all fairness, this should not be stated or offered until a basic level of internet service is actually given. The acce... Read more

Short walk ( 5- 10mins) to all the areas of interest like the waterfront, Britomart etc. Nearby to a supermarket and a couple of restaurants. Stayed here for five nights - 2 adults and 7 year old - as part of a two week holiday on the North Island. A nice two bedroom apartment. A little out of town, it is 10 mins into the main part of the city, and to the ferries. As such there isn't a great deal of excitement in the vicinity of the apartment. On the upside, it is deliciously quiet at night. There is a full supermarket, and some small eateries on the block. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor. This was super handy for my daughters to walk to the arena for the concert. A bit of a walk to the city for dinner (approx. 8-10) minutes. Found it very noisy being on the second floor so my advised would be to get a higher floor (especially when the concert finishes) as lots of noise with people coming and going.

The hotel is in a great location for what we wanted to do - dinner at Ostro, Netball at the Vector Arena so a short stroll to both. However, we were a bit underwhelmed by our visit - on arrival there was only one person on reception and was a little flustered as there was a lot happening. Then we we got to our room we had booked a two bedroom unit with three beds (one queen and two singles) only to find that we had one king and one queen - the offer of a roll away bed seemed a little naff give... We stay at the apartments as it is close to where our daughter lives and who we are visiting and also very close to amenities. I do find the lights in the apartments are very dull and not bright enough so we find it hard to read in the evenings.

I stayed at the Waldorf for work, for work, as I have done before: it's well appointed, and clean with a fantastic location: close to Britomart and the Vector Arena. This time, I left my favourite perfume behind on the bedside table by accident, as I discovered when I got home. When I emailed to organise how to get it back, I was told housekeeping hadn't seen it, filed it, or picked it up. A few more engagements asking them to make sure left me very disappointed with a standard answer repeated... Read more

This is a great location if you are staying so you can attend a show at Vector Arena. It only takes a five minute walk to the stadium from the apartments. You are also very close to the viaduct, Britomart, and queen street. The staff at reception are courteous and helpful. The room had all you needed for the kitchenette and laundry facilities. The rooms were tidy and clean. Some of the furniture is showing age but otherwise it was modern. The artwork was nice. Would be happy to stay again.

Terrible and rude staff. Filthy hotel. Front desk were unbelievably unhelpful. When asked where's a good place to eat "just walk down the street". Hairs in bathroom. No cleaning done in a week long stay?! Asked twice for manager to call. Still waiting.

We stayed at this hotel for one night, to attend a show at the Vector Arena. The staff at reception were very courteous and helpful. Our room was on the top floor (10th) and looked as though it had been recently re-carpeted. Furniture and fittings all appeared to be in very good condition, and the kitchen, laundry and bathroom all well appointed. If you're in Auckland for a show at Vector, I'd highly recommend staying at this hotel. An easy 3 minute walk out the back entrance of the hotel d... Read more

What sort of establishment charges premium rates and has furniture that is worn and torn. Housekeeping you have to request. Ask a question get told one thing then the staff turn around and revoke what the have just told me. Only thing positive about this place is it's location. Wouldn't stay again that's for sure.

As a kiwi coming to visit Auckland I return to these apartments because they are clean and tidy and roomy and close to lower queen street for concerts, viaduct basin and easy walk to queen st. Great value if u book early and some rooms have lovely views. For us it's like a lovely big motel away from home with all the gears if you want to stay in.

Booked 3 apartments back in June 2016 for Labour Weekend 2016 and requested they be on the same floor and next to each other. 3 further requests were put through and when we arrived were told - could put 2 on same floor and not together and one 2 floors above. One apartment reeked of curry and the lounge suite had rips and tears on the arms. The next morning we were called and advised will be replacing with brand new lounge suite......think they just brought it from another room as still tears o... Read more

Stayed at hotel purely for convenience to visit a show at Vector Arena and you could not fault location. Minutes walk to venue-was great. Positives, great continental breakfast, comfortable bed and location is so central to city also, we walked comfortably to restaurants off Queen St and Viaduct. Staff were friendly also. The only negatives was probably the cleanliness of our room, there was plaster and thick dust on the bathroom skirting not to mention built up scum in shower around soap dispen... Read more

So my night started while my entrance was blocked because of miscomunication with my company. So I arranged the comunication, but i was asked to pay 500NZD for fee plus the price of the room for 1 night. I said no, and I had to wait almost 2 hours on the hotel hall while the hotel sorted things out. Not a good start. When i got to my room, the room was great and everything. The Tv didn't had a good imagem it was cutted in half. Inside the room, you had windows between rooms, so if the next room ... Read more

Well furnished with kitchen and laundry appliances, cutlery as well as the usual tea and coffee. My only complaint would be the furniture was a little dated and worn, but nevertheless, it was clean and relatively well maintained. Located close to several supermarkets, major transport hubs and within walking distance of the main harbourside and shopping areas. Finally, for a hotel so close to the centre of Auckland, it was very reasonably priced.

We were two couples and booked a two bedroom apartment. It was very spacious and comfortable with great facilities. It is the perfect location if you have an event at the Vector Arena with less than a 5 minute walk. If you need to park a vehicle its an additional $25 charge. The carpark is close by and secure but not right on site. The only disappointing part was the amount of time it took to check out in the morning. Stayed for 10 days but room only had a1v housekeeping service once! Had to clear the thrash myself and borrowed the vacuum to do it ourselves. This can be a hassle for those with small kids - lots of rubbish to be cleared. And not a single cartoon channel to keep my 18 mth old & 8 yr old sons occupied. The hotel is well located for public transportation. A supermarket is within walking distance, as are restaurants and Queen Street, a main thoroughfare. The wheelchair-accessible apartment was well-planned with the nicest, safest roll-in shower we have yet experienced. The staff were welcoming, pleasant, supportive. We would certainly use this apartment-hotel again, should we return to Auckland.

We stayed at the Waldorf Stadium due to it's location. We arrived in the early evening. We immediately took a short walk of approximately 10-15 mins to the restaurants near the cruise terminal. It is only a short walk to attractions such as the Sky Tower. The hotel room was clean and staff were friendly. The breakfast was in a small room off the main reception area and included a variety of options including tea and coffee.

Great location for exploring Auckland. Apartment was clean, spacious and had everything you could want. We only stayed for two nights but with laundry facilities and kitchen it would make a good base for a few days. The walk into the centre is easy and quick, but you don't get amazing views and its not on a particularly nice or interesting road. But for convenience and practicality it's perfect. We paid for breakfast one morning ($38 NZ for two) which was fine and was continental buffet style.
