I stayed here whilst I was in town visiting friends and family. The exterior is pleasant and it is very well located within easy reach of most of what Auckland CBD has to offer. I checked in and was given the keys to my room, made my way up to the room and it smelt like an old ashtray. It took me five calls on the room phone to get someone at reception. I asked if it was a smoking hotel and they said "no", but suggested I go out on the balcony to smoke. I advised that I didn't smoke but th... Read more

We paid a minimal price for a queen suite and were very happy. We weren't sure what to expect due to the cheaper priced room but feel we were more than comfortable with everything provided. In the past we've paid a lot of money for 5 star places and thought we were happy with that type of accommodation. However, I'd happily stay here at any time. It has a convenient location, very tidy, comfortable and clean rooms with everything we needed, including a double balcony which meant we could have fr... Read more

The Quadrant is a well located hotel above central Auckland. It is with in easy walking distance of Britomart, the viaduct, shops and Vector arena. It is across the road form the university. Consequently it feels a little like a student hostel with multitudes of students living in the apartments there. My one bedroom suite was advertised as having a kitchenette however there were no pots, pans or utensils to use in it. The dishwasher woke us up at 2 am when it spontaneously started beeping and ... Upon arrival, the reception staff keep asking us whether we have vouchers and do we know what booking we have after being told a corporate travel agency booked our trip for our company. Finally, they found the booking but could not check us in. When I came back from training and got to my room, the heat pump was noisy and was humming all night long.Ordered my breakfast to be delivered at 6 am since I'm leaving for the airport early. They hesitated because the hotel don't open their breakfast bar... Read more

Good location for city and harbor view. The room is big and it's a good place to explore other shopping options. It's easy to manage parking in that big city where parking is always hard. It's a friendly service and child friendly hotel. The room service is quick and the Internet is fast. There is a family suite and a good kitchenette is built within along with basic services such as dryer and washer. ?????╗

I have had the best experience with the staff at the Quadrant hotel, they made me feel at home and extremely accommodating. The wonderful Anil and Aysh are the men to look out for when you need a nice drink or a night meal and Jeetan is always there to accommodate in the morning for coffee and delicious breakfast. Wonderful people- great experience!

The Quadrant Hotel and Suites is an apartment style hotel near the High Court and University in the Auckland CBD. The hotel is part of a larger hotel/apartment complex, though some parts of the complex are for residents only. I paid $150/night for a Queen room and was upgraded to a one bedroom unit. This made the stay value for money, without the upgrade, it would have been OK but not great. The room was clean and tidy, the bed comfortable, and the basic kitchenette was functional. The bathroo... Read more

Had flown into Auckland from Sydney and arrived at 9.30pm. Friends collected us and it was decided to stay in the city overnight as we were staying 3-4 hrs away. The check-in was smooth and the room had 2 separate rooms for the 2 couples staying. there was a small kitchen and a balcony which gave a limited view of the city. We decided that we would have a quick nightcap as it was 11.00pm by the time we settled in. The barman was locking up as we arrived and said he would see if he could get anyo... Read more

The rooms in this hotel are high standard and you are not missing out on anything by staying here. The staff are all very lovely and there is a mini bar downstairs for a "happy hour" should you decide to go. You can park your vehicles with the lobby receptionists and you will not be disappointed with the service provided :)
