Stayed in the Mercure for 1 night whilst attending the Incubate festival. Was greeted by very friendly and efficient check in and was luckily able to get my room early which was very much appreciated after a long days travel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent one of the best I've had in a hotel for a while . Large selection of fresh hot and cold dishes with a large selection for the more healthy breakfast . My only minor gripe is when I was there it was also a big mar... Read more

Hotel is centrally located with train station 10 mins walk from the hotel, surrounded by many restaurants/pubs and shopping. The room is clean and quite comfortable. One thing to note is that the hotel is very close to pubs, and can be noisy from Thursday to Sunday as some of the pubs close at 4 am. Try to stay in a room facing the plaza instead of the corner rooms facing the pubs if you do not like the noise. The breakfast selections were a little limited for the price we paid. We stayed at the hotel for two days. The room was comfortable and clean. We really liked the spacious rain shower. The staff is very polite and friendly. There are two restaurant in the hotel where we had dinner and the food was really good. Unfortunately we did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on that. At the time of our stay (May 2016) the hotel seemed to do some renovations/extension, so it was a bit noisy in the morning (after around 9:30 am) - but it did not impact our overall experien... Good location, friendly staffs, clean room, reasonable prices. Worthy to try to stay if you will stay in Tilburg. Only one thing you might need to consider, the noise from those pubs (especially in the weekend or holidays). If you need the hotel totally quiet in the midnight, perhaps you need to consider again. But if you don't mind, then this hotel is good choice.

Well located hotel at 1 km from the train station. Surrounded by a number of fast food restaurants and pubs. The service is nice, rooms are clean and were recently redone. Breakfast is ok, with a variety of cold and warm dishes. Will I go back? Why not...

I placed a reservation @ Mercure slightly three weeks before my stay in Tilburg; the same day I should have spent my night there the staff called me in the morning (very kind and courteous staff, definitely), informing that something went wrong with my reservation and my room was not available anymore. Well, I said, it may happens and I was pretty sheltered because the girl on phone told me that a new reservation had been already made for me into another hotel very close to the Mercure (City Hot... Good location just a short walk from train station. Great breakfast also. Noise from hallways as well as outside is easily heard inside, so if you're a light sleeper, I recommend taking earplugs with you. Staff at reseptien was very nice and helpful.

So, I'll start with the positives. Tilburg is a fun lil party town, and they stay up all night. I'd never seen anything like it in such a small place. The hotel is nice, and it looks brand new, however....First of all they put me in a single room when I'd booked a double. The receptionist tried to explain this away, talking about the festival and singles become doubles during this time, blah blah blah. I stopped listening and waited for her to fix the problem, because when I book a double I cert... Read more

The Mercure Tilburg Centrum is located exactly as per it's name - right in the centre of town. Modern hotel, with great amenities and very friendly staff, very comfortable bed - nice and firm. Heaps of restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Only downside, was it was slightly noisy with a road right below the window. More than adequate breakfast, heaps of hot and cold choices. Overall great stay, definitely recommended.

Nice modern hotel in central location - except our room faced a nightclub that went on till 3-4 am with loud thumping music. Not conducive to a good nights sleep. Housekeeping didn't visit on first day - bed not made or room made up. Weekday breakfast expensive but very good choice of cooked / cold buffet. Better value at weekend when you could get a smaller breakfast for 1/3 rd of the price. Great location if you want to partake of the nightlife ! Comfortable rooms. Supposed to be a pool and sa... I booked this hotel for overnight stay to go to see a gig at 013 poppadom. It's pretty much walking distance. Hotel is situated in very well maintained square. My room is slightly off from the crossing, not much of the room with the view but some people stayed in a room close to the crossing said the signal for blind people is getting slightly annoying. Room is very clean, bed is comfortable, and this hotel has a slippers to my delight surprise. I haven't ever stayed any hotel has a slipper ... Read more

Hotel is in the city centre and has a good selection of bars and restaurants adjacent to the hotel. Parking garage is directly accessed from the hotel. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and are stylish and comfortable.. The staff team were welcoming and willing to push that little bit harder to ensure I had a good stay.

Rooms just big enough for a double bed. If you end up with a room on the main street take ear plugs as the seating area opposite is the hangout for all the club's in the area and the noise continues until dawn (certainly in July anyway...)

First time ever in Tilburg and positively surprised by the hotel. I guess it shows the consistency of Mercure. Nice location right in downtown, nice bar at the ground floor and nice restaurant. Right by the walking area full of nice pubs.

Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum is located at the central part of Tilburg, my room was spacious, clean and comfortable but my travel experience was rueined by terrible wi-fi internet connection. I was not able to connect to wi-fi internet from my room. I told the receptionists twice about this problem but the issue was not resolved. I don't think I will ever want to stay at a Mercure Hotel again after this terrible experience.

This was my first visit to The Netherlands and Tilburg. The Mercure is a wonderful hotel to stay at. Their location is perfect. Once you're checked in, you can walk to countless cafes, bars, restaurants, shopping. You're also only a short distance from the train station. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are nicely appointed as well. They have a restaurant on and bar on site. Their breakfast is wonderful. Lots to choose from, so anyone fro... I stayed at the Mercure for a week when I was in Tilburg in June. The room was fine - a little small, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great! I had a view of the square and could see the clock tower from my room (which was good since I didn't have a clock in my room). There was very little storage in the room which made the week long stay challenging, but it worked out fine. Breakfast was wonderful - lots of great food and seating.

Made very welcome on arrival and checked in promptly. Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Food & service in the restaurant is very good but a little pricey. Hotel is ideally located in city centre with shops, cafes, bars & museums all within walking distance.

High marks to this place for location and service. It is on a popular square with many restaurants and a view of one of the old churches on Tilburg. Also, it is at the end of a long shopping street that ends at the other old church and more restaurants and a mall. The room was comfortable and spacious. Internet worked fine. The service was quite good. People were friendly and gave good tips. I would stay there again.

Small clean rooms, comfy beds, no excessive noise as was mentioned in other reviews we were at the front of the hotel. Very helpful friendly staff. Excellent location. One negative is car parking, as the hotel suggest a local one a preferential rate should be arranged for guests.

Firstly, the hotel modern and is in an excellent location in the heart of the city of Tilburg; however, it is located directly across the street from the largest bar & nightclub street in town - so it is very noisy until 4am and after (with the leftover drunk people stumbling around). LESSON: If you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room facing the square, and not facing the nightclubs. Regarding the staff, their service could be greatly improved. We requested a quiet room. Combine the hottest September night for decades, no air conditioning, a construction site next to the hotel and location amongst the night club district then you can probably guess the outcome. Firstly I received an e mail the day before my visit informing me that due to construction the air conditioning would not be available. Too late to change my plans but at least I thought it would be possible to have the window open if it was too hot - big mistake!. The room I had overlooked a busy night... Read more

Hi This is probably the best place to stay if you are tilburg center. Very well located. Many food joints around. The hotel ambience is good. Very good lighting in the rooms. Most open towards the open center. The only negative aspect is service at breakfast area. Maybe short staffed as plates are not cleared in time so you have to loom around for a clean one. The replenishment of food items is also not that prompt. For the money paid, these really need to be good, hence 4 stars
