I stayed in this hotel voor 2 nights. The location was perfect in the centre. Near museums and lots of restaurants and a few kilometers from the beach in Scheveningen. It was a nice room and the breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Friendly and professional staff, clean and quiet room, excellent free breakfast, convenient location to shopping, sights, restaurants, and Den Haag Centraal station. Had a minor issue with housekeeping that was quickly resolved. Would be great if a wash cloth and lotion were provided.

This hotel is conveniently located at 8 min walk from The Hague central station, AND 2 min walk to the Mauritshuis museum and the parliament. It's also close to public transportation. The hotel is a standard Holiday In Express hotel, with efficient and modern rooms, free wifi and complimentary Dutch breakfast. The staff was friendly. There are plenty restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

We spent two nights in Holiday Inn Express, and liked it very much. The hotel's location is prefect, it is closed to the The Hague Central Railway Station, to the Parliament, and just one block from the famous museum Mauritshuis, where we can find the Vermeers' printing of the "Girl with a Pearl Earring". Stepping out of the hotel, there are 5-6 restaurants within 5 min. walking distance. It is very convenient. The hotel room is simple and very clean. The hotel staffs were professional and nic... Hotel was very reasonably priced for the area - great location near central station and the shops in town. If you like running/cycling there's a huge park and woods close by that you can go see the Huis Ten Bosch. Breakfast is included in hotel rate - continental which includes boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese, lots of bread (rye, white, whole meal and soda) and pastries, all help yourself between 7 and 10am. Staff super friendly, happy to order takeaway for you at any tim... Read more

I stay here quite often on business. The location is unbeatable. Right in Parliament Square next to all the local bars and restaraunts . 5 min wakl to central station . It is a budget hotel so don't expect too much for breakfast except cold cuts and croissants . The coffee is nice. Rooms are comfortable. Beds could do with being a little softer (for me anyway) . Great little bar thats open 24/7 . What makes the hotel for me is how pleasent and helpful all the staff are.

For the most part, Holiday Inn Express hotels are decent and reliable places to stay. However, one doesn't often think of them as fabulous places to stay. Well, this one is. The central location helps, of course, but it is the friendly service, welcoming atmosphere and nicely kept rooms that make it special. I definitely know where I'll be staying again next time I'm in The Hague.

On arrival, I saw the old narrow front and was not impressed. But inside, the place is spacious pleasantly decorated and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. It is off a square with bars and restaurants

Recently attended this hotel as we were watching Springsteen in the city at the open air venue Maliveld.... The hotel is a 5-10 minute stroll to the venue...Its also only a minutes walk to the square where there is a shed load of bars and restaurants...The prices are really reasonable as well. The hotel is spacious and mega clean. The breakfast is continental but has a large selection. The staff are fantastic...Michael on reception was brilliant..His English was superb & he was of great help when ... The is a great hotel with a better location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and quite. The location is the best. It is in walking distance to more restaurants than you could eat at in a month. This is my second stay and I will be staying here again next month.

Great location, service, and value. Next to the parliament and the magnificent Mauritshuis museum. Close to the main sights and transportation (don't forget to visit Delft). Lively atmosphere on the square in the evening.

Stayed for five nights for business. Deluxe it ain't but the location was perfect for our meetings in the Mauritshuis and easy access to historic sites and bars, cafes and restaurants of the main square. No frills, pared down room amenities "everything you need and none of the stuff you don't", small but well-designed rooms. Just doable for five nights but rooms and philosophy probably designed for shorter stays. Had quiet room facing into courtyard so other than a Bruce Springsteen concert near... Read more

Arriving from the train station, it took no time to find the hotel, which was located so close to the Mauritishuis Museum, I could see it from the front door. The staff was super helpful and showed a great interest in ensuring a positive experience, not only at the hotel, but my visit to the Hague.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Arriving late evening we asked about local restaurants and were given a comprehensive written list with directions by young man on the desk. This hotel is in an excellent location with major tourist sites only a few minutes walk away. It was also handy for trams and train station, making it a good base for exploring other places in the Netherlands. The room was clean and well maintained. Bathroom was very clean, spacious and had a powerful shower. Sound-proofing must be good as I heard no noise from inside or outside the hotel during the week I stayed there. Quiet rooms, modern design and furniture, friendly staff w excellent English, good hot breakfast, and a decent wifi. What more could I ask for? Bonus for being right next to a park/plaza surrounded by restaurants/malls and within walking distance to train stations and numerous tourist attractions. I loved that it was tucked away in a quiet spot but still near everything.

Perfect location if you are using the train. It's a short easy walk from the station and also well placed for the trams. There are dozens of restaurants nearby and the Plein is a great location for sitting out at night. The hotel staff are perfect. The room great and the bathroom looked like it had never been used by anyone else because it was so clean and shiny. The Hague is a super walking city with lots of different areas to explore. Very nice place.

My most recent stay at the HI Express confirmed what I observed before: excellent location, great value for money and all basic needs met to satisfaction. In addition I observed that (1) the management thinks about improving service and introducing variation in the standard concept: the buffet breakfast included new items and there was more variation on the buffet from one day to the other and (2) the hotel is taking maintenance seriously - the interior was starting to suffer from normal wear a... Stayed here for four nights for a city break. The car park is under the hotel so perfect, although a little expensive. The hotel location is excellent, right next the Plein, where ther are bars and restaurants to suit all pockets. Plein is very lively and goes late! The staff at the hotel were really good and gave lots of accurate information which really helped make the stay work. HI Ex includes breakfast, which was very good. We stayed here in late June 2016 and we were very pleased with this hotel. The service was excellent and the room was spotless. The room was on the small side, but very comfortable and quiet. We walked from the Central Station and it took us older folks about 20 mins not including time that we took for lunch on the way. It was a nice, easy walk and we were dragging 3 small suitcases with us. Fortunately, it wasn't raining. If it had been, it would have been an unpleasant walk. The breakfast... Read more

The best thing about this hotel is it's location: right in the centre of The Hague - near all the shops, bars and restaurants but it is still really quiet so no disturbed sleep! The rooms are of a good size with very comfortable beds. The only down-side was that there were no drawers or spaces to put clothes which we would have liked, being there for 5 days. Also after the first day we were not supplied with any clean bath, large towels only small, hand towels. Apart from these 2 niggles we had a... Read more

I stayed just for one night in this Holiday Inn Express. It could not have been better located: very close to the Mauritshuis and the Binnenhof, and a short walk from the railway station - right in the middle of things. The room was nicely appointed with a decent size bathroom. My only criticism was that it was on the ground floor, not far from reception, and right beside a side street which had a lot of traffic. It's a high quality hotel but a bit impersonal. The Express concept means they've keep it to the point. They don't expect you to spend to much time in the hotel but rather explore the city. Rooms are immaculate, reception staff very friendly and quite down to earth and they offer a really good breakfast (although in a small breakfast area so you might want to start early to avoid the rush). This hotel is centrally located, within walking distance from the train, shopping district, Parliament and restaurants. The main desk staff were all very helpful and friendly. I stayed here for the first time last week, and it is definitely a hotel I will return to in future. Superb central location, helpful, friendly staff and clean and comfortable room. It was a bit warm, but there is always a balance between sleep and the noise of aircon :) Good, basic breakfast and well priced cold drinks and snacks in the lobby - everything required of a city centre hotel with lots of restaurants and food shops nearby.

Although we booked months in advance, on arrival we were initially given a room on the ground floor with passers by immediately outside the window and music from a bar or similar directly opposite. Plus we couldn't make the aircon work satisfactorily and the room was boiling. Fortunately, the charming receptionist at the front desk managed to reallocate us a room on a higher floor with very efficient aircon - essential given the heatwave (the temperature topped 30 degrees). As a result, we had a... Read more

I stayed at the hotel for one night only, it was a last minute booking that I did on the counter at around 9pm. I was assigned the only available room on the ground floor next to the main road, which meant it would be relatively noisy.
