At the arrival we got a room, that the balcony doors were poorly insulated, so the cold air was blowing in and all the noise from street could be heard. Sauna and pool were disappointment. Breakfast modest compared to most hotels or B&B I've stayed... No space in garage at arrival. On the positive side, staff was extremely friendly. Would probably try to find something else next time.

slightly odd feel of a business hotel in a beach resort but fits the bill for either use, good location 100 metres from the beach and also same distance to trams with direct routes to both den haag and delft The hotel staff all really pleasant and nice without doubt will use again when back in the Den Haag area

We stayed here with our 3 years old and 9 months old boys. Stayed in the family room, and the extra bed and baby bed were ready when we checked in. The family room was quite big with a balcony overlooking the street in front of the hotel. We put the baby bed beside the big bed so there was plenty of room to put our stroller and for the kids to play in. The bathroom was a good size, with bathtub, shower and a lot of towels. We decided to pay extra and get the breakfast at the hotel because it w... Read more

Bad service; staf tried to let me pay for breakfast two times. Apart from that: I had to park my car in à garage; staf gold me that it should be free of charge.. Next day they told me I had to pay 20 euro myself..

Looking at the official photos of this hotel, I was under the impression that it was next to the beach. It isn't. It isn't far from the beach, but my "sea view" room looked over houses and through gaps in tall buildings before the sea could be seen. Bedroom was very small for two people, and the balcony was made of solid concrete, it was unswept and had two white plastic chairs with no table-not very pleasant. For a relatively expensive room, there was no kettle or fridge or bottle of water. Bed... Read more

An appealing and comfortable hotel, reasonable sized room, friendly staff and good wifi reception. There is a very nice Dutch style buffet breakfast. The hotel is one block back from the beach and a block from the tram stop from Den Haag station. Reasonable prices if you book ahead. They have a reasonable priced restaurant although we didn't use it.

This is the hotel, in fact probably the whole hotel group, that I would recommend to people who love to get a blase and dismissive kind of service. Neither the hotel nor the headquarters reply neither to information requests nor complaints sent to their official email addresses. The reception desk does not even try to leave you the impression they care about customers. Furthermore, they cannot even find items that are being left to the reception for the customers (with the customers name on!) ... Read more

I had a street-side room facing the ocean on the 2nd floor. Due to the local businesses across the street, I did not have an "ocean view". The room itself was fair-sized, big enough for two people with a little extra room if you need it. However, as mentioned in the caption, the room itself was rather older (carpeting, etc.). The fridge in the room requires a key from the front lobby before you can have access since it acts as a mini-bar & not necessarily as an in-room fridge by itself, The... Read more

This place is ideal for an occasional business traveler, who would like some personal time on the beach! Hotel have been recently renovated in a modern, contemporary way. Rooms were tiny but super clean. Stuff was just OK. Breakfast was fine, but they start offering at 07.00 which I think is a little late for business travelers. Conveniently located within 50 meters from tram station.

Most of all we liked the location of the hotel - it's close to the sea and reachable with trams. Polite and always ready to help personnel. Room was cleaned thoroughly and everyday. A wide choice of food for breakfast - and of perfect taste. Good and clean pool. There were no refregerator (mini-bar) and kettle in the room. As we stayed almost for a week, we would like to have it. Conditions to sleep just excellent - cosy bed and pillows. Big TV and good wi-fi.

Lovely hotel not far from the beach. We had a small meeting room that was very well equipped, great lighting! The meeting area was lovely, good coffee available all the time. Staff were attentive and very helpful. We had drinks in the bar and food in the restaurant, staff were very friendly, food and drink of very high quality. Rooms were well decorated and very comfortable.

Really cannot understand the # 2 rating in your forum. No complaints about the welcome as this was the very first time in my travelling life that the receptionist did welcome me with a handshake. The rooms in the older wing are rather spacious. Contrary to the rooms in the newer wing (still 20 years old or so) that are really, really small. Just half a meter next to the bed is too narrow. No shower cabin but having a shower standing in the bathtube, this is back to 1980 or so. Nice plastic show... Read more

We just spent one night at this hotel. We liked the look inside, the room, the staff, the location, nothing was really bad except one thing: you hear you neighbours in the adjacent room. We heard them also when they were sneezing?! Besides this, we had a good time, good sleep (good beds), it was extremely clean, so no further complaints. But this sound issue is maybe not the case in all rooms, I don't know. The price is not too bad, I think.

Considering the cost this was the most expensive and worst hotel we stayed during our trip. The rooms were small, no proper wardrobes, no air con and dingy. The only saving grace was the en suite. Breakfast was expensive so cheaper to eat elsewhere. The staff were good, which means I give this hotel a higher rating. I would consider another hotel in future in Dan Haag.

Almost everything was wrong ...I don't know from where I should start from the booking meant to be a deluxe room with a balcony and view on the sea I end up with very average size room,no balcony and view was only roof !!!!!chick in at 2 o'click in the afternoon...inside the room there was a TV which is good,a phone but not working and that is it no fridge, kettle, nor iron ,bathroom was very average ... customer service poor, bar tender at night was rude....only one old gentleman was very nice an... Nice clean rooms. Beautiful hotel on a great location. The restaurant 'De Dagvisser' in the harbour is a very good fish reataurant. It is only 2 minutes walking to the beach. A lot of shops in the neighbourhood.

Plus points: This is a good hotel for a very short stay, great staff, good location (near the beach and many other attractions), perfect for corporate meetings, Halal food in nearby restaurants for Muslims, Minus points: No Air-Cons in rooms makes it unbearable during warmer days, The disturbing noise from loading/unloading food supply everyday at 5 am at the main entrance; had me awake almost everyday!

This hotel had a very nice website that seemed to show a hotel near the beach, all by itself. In reality, the hotel is a couple blocks from the beach on a busy street. I chose the "deluxe" room but found out that the deluxe room was just a renovated version of the lower level room ("Comfort room") with a reasonable shower (if you book a comfort room you should be able to climb up to get into the raised narrow tub in order to shower). The room has no air-conditioning and was uncomfortably hot and... Read more

Is is a hotel from the Bilderberg Group and very nicely located naar the sea. It has also good conference facilities for meetings. Be aware that the parking facilities are somewhat difficult to find as the entrance is just around the corner of the main entrance. Breakfast is of good standard. It has a nice restaurant salt in a nice entourage.

I stayed in sea view comfort room . It has a very nice view from the balcony ; not only the sea view, also the forest view on the right side in the early morning. It looks really heavenly. The restaurants and reception areas and bars have been recently renovated. But the room is not so new. Although it was good enough for my conference trip. It will be better if they provide iron in the side wardrobe .
