I stayed only for a night in IBIS Leiden and traveled on next day, so all I cared about was a short distance to a certain location in that city, so I could safely find my way back in the middle of the night. The rooms are spacey, besides the bed they offer a small desk and a chair. The bed was OK. The bathroom was OK too, with one exception: there was almost no water coming out of the shower. But for one night, that's not a big deal. After I stayed in other hotels of different brands afterwards,... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is right opposite the train station. Easy to find and great for day trips. Went to Amsterdam (30 min on the train) and to Hague (15 min); also only about 30 min from the airport. Trains are going every 10 min in any direction. Nicely signposted and there is always some staff at hand to help. Rooms were nice and clean. Big showers. Air con in every room so no too hot-to cold issues. Housekeeping invisible but very efficient. There is a great breakfast sele... Read more

We arrived earlier than the check in time and the room wasn't ready yet, but we were able to leave our bags in a secure room and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were very nice, clean and well laid out, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a bit expensive, considering that i only had toast it would have been nice if there was a cheaper "continental breakfast" for if you don't want a full cooked breakfast. However, the selection was good, very tasty and fresh and the breakfast ea... Read more

We stayed here on very short-notice and were overall very pleased with our short stay. The hotel is 3 minute walk from the entrance to the Leiden Central station, so it is ideal if you need to take the train. The building is very modern and offers a stylish lobby area with well-maintained and clean rooms. Beds are mediocre comfortable. Breakfast is included from 6-10 am. This hotel has a great location, near the central station and a short walk to the city center and museums / exhibitions. Great staff. I stayed 4 nights before going on a trip and one night when I returned. It is a good option for those who have to go / return from the airport Schiphol. Cheaper than going to Amsterdam.

My stay was for business and I had always two weeks at this hotel. I had food in the hotel restaurant once and wouldn't have it again. I had a burger, it was very plain and the patty had freezer burn. There are other eateries within walking distance so I recommend visiting those places instead. Ask for a room away from the train station, it's quite noisy otherwise. They allow dogs at the hotel and one evening I had to put up with a barking dog from 6pm until 10pm, annoying. Ibis are consistent, and Leiden is no exception offering good standard accommodation at an affordable price. Rooms and bathroom are small, but adequate. A handy place to stay if visiting Kuekenhof gardens for tulip display, as buses leave from over the road at station car park. Breakfast is good value with a wide choice. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel was easy to reach from the central train station while pulling suitcases. And it was a nice place to stay. Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. Not much going on directly outside the hotel, but a very short walk to the old town. Many grocery stores and restaurants close by.

The convenience to the train station and decent coffee in the morning are the best features of this hotel. The rooms thinly with tiny beds, they give you one small towel and when I request a second it was taken out the next day. It should be considered a hostel. Service is indifferent to condescending depending on who you interact with.

The staff is really helpful and the hotel feels a little above its category, price-wise. The breakfast buffet is delicious and fresh. The common areas like the lounge are cosy and comfy, and the rooms are too ! Good bedding, quiet halls, excellent level of cleanliness. Two plus sides : the parking is easy and quite cheap, and the hotel provides cheap and easy bike rental. One small drawback : no bedside plugs !!!

I have previously stayed with the hotel which was why I booked again. Swift and helpful service at reception. Rooms with odd numbers are facing toward the station, which is quiet, rooms with even numbers are at the back of the hotel facing the city.
