It is a clean and nice hotel very close to the train station. It is quiet as well. From the windows you can see the trains. Unfortunately the windows cannot be opened, so you cannot have fresh air. The lighting in the bathhroom is very poor.

Located in the old post office building, the hotel is nicely appointed. Friendly, helpful staff. Would. Like to have had a clock in the room. My room was close to train tracks and the sound-proofing could have been better. Lighting in the bathroom was poor. But overall, the room was spacious and liveable.

Very convenient to train station (you must endure the 75+ steps for the metal overpass bridge during station remodeling) and a 10 minute walk through a pretty park from the historic center of Breda. Clean decent sized rooms with all the expected amenities. Excellent staff, great breakfast buffet, anda lively bar complete the package.

Very old hotel. It needs refurbishment. The lifts are very slow. Rooms are big but tired. Beds are all right. Breakfast is probably the best thing here. Location of course is a big plus. Hopefully, when the Central Station construction is finished then the hotel will be accessible.

At first impression it is a nice hotel. Really close to downtown and 1 block away from the train station. But the service is not that good. Laundry is not pick up in the room. I had to give the bag at the reception every time. Stayed there for 2 weeks and the room was not cleaned well during that period. One night I arrived at the hotel my key was not working. I have stayed in this hotel for the second time, as the first visit in July 2015 was comfortable and value-for-money. The hotel offers a garage which is very useful if the weather is bad and/or your car is expensive. The location next to the railway station makes it perfect for train travellers who are looking for a hotel which is close to the station and to the heart of the town (the latter is just a 10 minute walk). I've stayed here a couple of times, always in the new wing with the modern rooms. This time, I was put in the older wing overlooking the train tracks, a smaller room layout with older bathrooms and no chance to open a window. The noise from the hallways was loud too. Thankfully the hotel moved me to the new wing and all was perfect again. On arrival I had some issues at reception with my booking confirmation. Sadly, I was served by a rude lady who wasnt able to look after me at all. One day I a... Read more

to stay in this hotel is always really pleasant, staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. The position close to the station is strategic and there is a minimarket till 10 open for needs. The luxury rooms are very spacious with beautiful furnitures and decors. I like this hotel as I feel at home during my staying.

Very nice Hotel near to the central main station in Breda, the only disadvantage is price for the breakfast. It's definitely to high and quality is rather average. Of course it is not required so it could not be a problem for you.

This is very comfortable, modern hotel near the central station. The staff is very friendly and the bike rental is a great option in this accessible city. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Rooms were comfortable and business friendly. I enjoyed my stay here and would return on my next trip to Breda.

My friend and I stayed here for one night to go shopping in Breda! The hotel is easy to find, next to the train station and if you are by car they have a parking lot. Rooms are clean and spacious, the bed is really comfy. We unfortunately had the room next to the railway, so I heard the trains passing by. My friend heard nothing! So it depends how deep you sleep ;) Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice! Everyone is very friendly and never bothered to have a small chat with the guest. Ce... Read more

This hotel is in a great location-- right next to the train station in Breda and a short walk from the city center. My room was large, very clean and beautifully decorated. I had to leave early on the morning of my check-out, before the breakfast service started. They offered me a breakfast "to go" bag since my rate included breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff (all of whom spoke English).

Location was just next to the Breda Railway Station and easily accessible in 2 min. Walk. But the rooms were not so big and very old style. Even there wasn't a Hot Water Kettle inside the room and when asked, the reception lady informed to take it from the breakfast room personally. Bathroom was without toiletries. Ok for just a night stopover if using public transportation.

+ The Apollo is nicely located in terms of access by train and proximity to the old town. Staff is very freindly, breakfast is good. - My room was small the shower is in the bath tube without any seapartion from the rest of the bathroom - so after shower everything is wet. A curtain would help. TV didn't work. The barkeeper didn't show up in the bar for 15 minutes.

Excellent. Nicely decorated, spacious and good feel rooms. Breakfast offers good options and so does the bar counter. If you are on a business trip, then the location has great access to trains and taxis.

When you stay in the same hotel several times during a long periode, this becomes your second home. The staff ensures with their great personal service and helpfullness that you want to come back. Personal preferences on rooms are noted and are almost always offered. The breakfast offeres a good range off choices and the restaurant offers good meals as well. The rooms are off sufficient size and the beeds are in general good. I can highly recommend this place. The staff does a great job - Cont... Read more

Despite the poor water pressure in the shower and the not properly working remote control for the TV I can clearly recommend the hotel. Convenient location right beside the station makes it easy if you come from AMS to Breda.

The Apollo hotel has been a home from home for the last 9 months. The staff go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay. The welcome starts from being greeted with a smile at reception, to receiving "welcome back" notes and gifts in your room, barstaff knowing which drinks you enjoy to the breakfast staff greeting you with an "hello".
