We were upgraded to a Executive room with a canal view! The room was stunning. Really nice stuff and delicious food at The Harbour Club Kitchen. It's near by the centre and a great steet called 'Schelde Straat' with really nice restaurants. I definitely recommend this stay !

Brilliant hotel, walking distance from the tram stops. Automatic room upgrade when we got there which was lovely, complimentary slippers and dressing gown. Room was very clean and rain shower brilliant and powerful. The guys on the door were very friendly and helpful. You can also rent the hotel bikes all day. Overall lovely stop at amsterdam and would deffinitly use this hotel again!

Wonderful hotel, great bar for chilling by the fire. Very friendly efficient staff. Rooms are spotless as is the whole building. The taxi shuttle service to airport is brilliant! It is a short cab ride to most places , but worth it for the oasis of calm that the hotel provides. Would deffo stay here again .

We came here as part of our honeymoon and it was our first stop. We ended up with a two twin bed room and a view of the gas station instead of one bed with a city view. Very disappointing. Our shower also flooded the bathroom as a result of the way the shower door was. The front desk agents checking in were friendly but that's about the only positive experience I got from this hotel.

Checked in at around 4.30pm. Room was not ready so insisted on an available room. Given a room at canal level which was nice for the view and ducks going by. The guy on concierge was very rude on check in - indifferent and brash. My key also didn't work and he argued they were all the same when it turned out not to be after asking him to change. Breakfast is ok. Good rain shower but water goes everywhere. TV did not work. Nice quiet part of town and and few mins walk to restaurants etc.

Very close to airport - 5 euro uber to Amsterdam South, and then one stop to Schipol (15-20 min total door to door) Bed was very comfortable and the staff was super nice. Fresh Oliebollen for new years! Yum! Fitness center was certainly LACKING and the price is a bit high. 5 min walk to De Pjip and 30 minutes to the main downtown (canal zone)

Stayed here for a business meeting and I left with mixed feelings. If you are coming by car, parking can be an issue. They have only a very small parking area and without the kind help of the valet I would not have been able to find a spot. Location wise the hotel is out of the way and is therefore not suited for tourists. For business it is better located since the access to highways is relatively good (you do not have to enter the city center). The room and the overall décor are somewhat date... Read more

We were placed in the hotel by KLM for an overnight stay due to flight delays. The hotel is about a 20minute shuttle ride from the airport. The room on the first floor was very basic with dated and fading mismatched furniture and carpet, although the bed linen was very clean and bed neatly made. The TV was small and had poor signal. The bathroom also needed updating with discoloured grouting, a stained toilet bowl and a small older bath and shower. Again however the towels were neat and clean. ... Read more

The hotel's chief asset is the location in a leafy, beautiful part of the city and on the bank of a 'lake' formed by the conflunce of five canals, in other words it offers beautiful views from the restaurants and probably from most rooms, though there are a number of 'back' rooms without such a pretty view. We were told that no 'standard' rooms offer the view of water and so we paid a huge supplement per every night to get it. The room had a floor to ceiling window and was very comfortable. The ... Recently, I travelled here for a short break with 3 friends. We arrived late in the evening and had no issues at check in. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the hotel itself is very nice. The staff are very helpful and friendly and couldnt do enough for you. The bar in the hotel overlooks the canals and we had a lovely drink here by the fire before we left for the airport ( staff in the bar were particularly friendly and on the ball-great service) We really enjoyed our stay and would absol...
