We had two adjacent rooms (they do not have connecting rooms), and they were pretty spacious and comfortable. Lovely view of the park. A lovely sit out at terrace too. The hotel is a bit far from centre, about 10 mins ride in an uber. Not too many eating places nearby, and yet they do not have room service. They did order a pizza for us when requested. we stayed for 3 nights, and they charged us a rate of 300+ euros for first night and 126 euros for the others. At 300+ it is not all worth it, bu... Slightly anonymous hotel which makes up for its out of town location by having very helpful reception staff. Our rooms were smaller than I expected but perfectly adequate and quiet despite facing the nearby motorway. The airport shuttle was excellent. If you're thinking of eating in the 17th floor restaurant, check out the menu first. The food's great but expensive.

I and a colleague stayed at this hotel on the 3rd June 16. The receptionist was very helpful and polite and professional to a high degree. The room was mediocre. Nothing special. No air at all in the room so when you had a shower it was like being in a sauna in the whole room. The restaurant/bar staff who spoke to us were absolutely appalling in their attitude towards myself... I fell in love with Amsterdam during my stay at this hotel. from our 12th floor room we could see the Rembrandt park - perfect for cycling and walking. The room was clean and beds soft. The wifi and the tv worked. The bar on the 17th floor was perfect for an evening with close friends. Sadly did not have a single meal at the hotel as the city had so much to offer. But what really needs to be mentioned is the ever smiling helpful staff at the reception who were going out of their way to help us ... Read more

The team was nice, the hotel is not too far from center of the city (10 min by tram). The park near the hotel is sweet and the view from rooftop is wonderful and if you are lucky with your room you will wake up with a wonderful sunrise on Amsterdam.

We stayed for 3 nights which was great, friendly staff and good location for rembrant and vondel Park. Also a 2 minute walk from the tram. There was a bit of a mess up though with the rooms and ended up on a random stranger having a key to our room and coming in, but the staff soon sorted that and apologised. The hotel is just on the our skirts of the city centre but it's just a short tram ride away which is outside the hotel. They also have transport from the airport to the hotel which was handy. Rooms are good size and nice bathrooms Overall would definitely stay here again!

The city is amazing, the hotel not so much. On Arrival a free shuttle service took us to the hotel. We were advised prior that the shuttle runs approx. every 20 mins but were left waiting for near on 45 mins to an hour. Once we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a fantastic member of staff whose name escapes me unfortunately. she was very helpful and kind, unfortunately the hotel itself let her down. On arrival we were informed of a deposit required of 50 EUROS per night!! This was not ex... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. On check in, we were asked to pay a deposit of ?150 which we had seen online beforehand but our friends were charged just ?100 for the same stay as us. We were also told that the city tax was 5% of the hotel stay per day when in reality it was just 5% overall. We stayed on the 16th floor of the hotel. Instead of a double bed, we had two single beds pushed together with 2 separate duvets. The pillows were more like cushions than pillows. There is a step u... Read more

Very nice 4 star hotel within walking distance of some good restaurants. Free shuttle every 40 mins from schipol. The hotel is modern (converted in 2012) and well appointed. Rooms are well decorated and comfortable with nice beds and bathrooms. Easy tram (13) into dam square. Terrace provides excellent views over Amsterdam. Sky bar is nice and prices were OK... Except for wife's 2 shandy, charged for a full beer and a full sprite for each drink!!! Would be 5 stars otherwise.

We used the transfer bus from the airport, a small wait but was a very easy and a free way to get to the hotel. The hotel is modern with a welcoming front reception area. It has a small souvenir shop, recommendations for things to do in the area and plenty of seating, and drinks and snacks to buy. We stayed on the 7th floor in a corner room, it had fabulous views over the park and plenty of windows and seating areas to sit and enjoy the scenery. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorat... Read more

The rooms are clean. The food is great. The staff is friendly I am a vegetarian and was amazed to see the options there. I was hungry but I loved the food. I arrived early and my room was not ready however, the staff gave me a room couple of hours before the usual check-in time.

Overall our stay at this hotel was lovely. It was a surprise trip i had booked for my boyfriend. I requested a birthday package in our room and it was perfect. rooftop bar is closed in winter months - not great. The indoor sky bar closes when the staff decide - opening times state they serve until 1am, we were asked to finish our drinks around 11.45pm as there were no other guests in the bar - again, not great. The real issues arose when we came to check out - there were issues regarding what ha... Read more

Stayed here on a weekend break. We were upgraded on arrival to a delux room. At check in we were given a map of the city and quick run through of the trams, I thought this was a great idea. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated and very modern! The room wasn't huge but was adequate for our needs. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on food, breakfast was ?18pp and we felt this was very expensive! Hotel is located a few km from the city center but there is direct tram line 13 just in front of it going to the Dam square and Central Station(8 tram stations;10-15 minutes) . In the hotel lobby in the shop you can buy a traffic ticket from one to four days cost from 7,10-21,50 euros depending of the number of days. By the walking you can get to the center in some 45 minutes. Hotel is very large and the restaurant and bar are located at the top at the 17th floor with a nice view at the city. ... Read more

Nice and modern hotel with great facilities. There was a wide variety of choices at the breakfast buffet and the food was always topped up. Got a free upgrade to a luxury room with amazing views. Staff were more than helpful, the only downside is having to pay a ?150 deposit. It's a bit steep especially if it's coming out of spending money. Nevertheless would return and will definitely would recommend

Stayed here in November 2016 for a long weekend and the rooms were never cleaned which I find shocking for a four star hotel. The first day, we just pit it down to being up late, the second morning we were up in plenty of time, even said good morning to the house cleaning staff at 10am. Arrived back at 3pm to yet another uncleaned room. Complained to reception to be told by an indifferent member of staff that we have 400 rooms to clean... And your point is? Not happy at all.

Due to a mix up with our booking service (not the hotel's fault!), our reservation was cancelled without warning. The hotel was so accomodating! Reception did EVERYTHING possible to get us our room back. (The hotel, and almost every other hotel in the city, was fully booked! We would have been stranded!) They found us a room that was available and kept us there for the rest of our stay. The room available was larger than the one we previously selected but they gave us the upgrade for no extra co... We arrived tired and had shuttle service. We were greeted with a friendly staff and we were told our room wasn't ready but they found us and gave a complimentary breakfast since our room was better than we got. We found the breakfast amazing with all the offerings. Wish we had tried the dinner too. Our only complaint was the shuttle guy the morning we left it was raining and he didn't pull under the shed for his passengers not to get rained on.

The hotel is not in the most central area of the city, but it's reachable via a quick run on the tram. The stiye is pretty much the Ibis style, so small rooms, very minimalistic and simple, but comfortable. The breakfast is a definite plus, served in the lobby on the 17th floor with a great view on the whole city, is full of tasty treats. You can even prepare your own waffle.
