We arrived on a Friday, an hour earlier than the check in time, luckily we were able to check in early. When we got to our room on the top floor, we found we'd been given a corner room with a view! The room was spacious, clean, we had everything we needed and more! The staff we came across during our stay were friendly, helpful and were happy to answer all of our questions. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum and a tram stop. Although it was such a beautiful c... Read more

Sometimes you even have the possibility to stay in a hotel in your hometown, now it was the Museumquarter which hosted me. This hotel is really very convenient when it comes to location. The important Musea are "around the corner" and all less than 1000 meters from the front door. The US Embassy is around the corner, so there is always plenty of police in this neighborhood to feel safe. You can get there by taxi or public transport. Due to some reconstruction work, there is currently no tram in ... Read more

As always, a trip away comes with some great memories, which are joined by some negatives. My experience at NH Amsterdam museum quarter did not provide much of the latter. Firstly, I booked incorrectly. I booked for just my wife, forgetting myself (weird, I know). Most hotels in England would say only one person can stay, but the staff at this hotel said not to worry, I can still stay and gave us a great alternative with regards to the breakfast I had already paid for. This showed great custome... Read more

Great location, near to the museums, close to the centre. The room was tidy and clean and with good size. We would recommend for that price. It's quiet, could be ideal also for families. Mindenképpen tudnánk ajánlani. ?r-érték arányban jó és viszonylag közel van mindenhez.

We opted to stay in this part of town due to many reviews of downtown locations that highlighted noise...After our stay here, I would recommend this hotel precisely for that reason alone. In addition, it's five minutes from the nearest airport-bus station, and likewise from Amsterdam's two major art museums. The rooms are spacious (by Dutch standards), comfortable, though a little more cupboard space would not go amiss. Breakfast is good, and they will cooks eggs to order.

A very pleasant hotel overlooking a canal which at present is undergoing some building work but it in no way does it detract from the hotel. The hotel is situated a short walk from the main areas of interest with the rijksmuseum a five minute walk away. the bedrooms are spacious and the bathroom as everything you need. Buffet breakfast is varied and plentiful, something for everyone. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A very good hotel overall

An enjoyable stay and easy to access the sights. Hotel was clean and staff friendly- although the Dutch are not exactly 'service minded'. As long as you remember this then everything is OK - you would get exactly the same service from a 5 star hotel in Amsterdam. The BIG downer was the pillows - AWFUL!
