Brand new hotel in the Eastern Docklands. The area is close to the centre, 3 tram stops to the central station. Direct tram line to the Rijksmuseum and Leidseplein. The area has some of the most interesting and funky architecture of Amsterdam. Visit the nearby Java- and KNSM island. There is a shopping area near (Brazilië) with supermarkets, wine and fish stores. The hotel has good, quiet rooms with a wonderful bed. Had a good sleep! Breakfast buffet had a good choice of items.

Our flight was delayed so didn't arrive to early hour in the morning in which we was welcomed by our name as soon as we entered by a lovely gentleman. It is clean and new hotel ideal for business trip. Problem is that You can't open window because is locked and sometimes You need to breath fresh air not only AC. The other problem was that we ordered 2x double bedrooms and 1x double bedroom with sofa bed. That double bedroom with sofa bed was the same size like normal double bed room but the bed was more like single bed - too small for 2 adults.

I visited this hotel earlier this month and was very unimpressed, I booked 5 twin rooms and got 5 doubles, We all had to share double beds, The hotel staff managed to one of the room to a twin. Also they took a holding fee off my bank card for all rooms £1700 they was ment to release the money as we left but they forgot and I have now been waiting over 2 weeks to receive it, It doesn't look good on me when bills bounce from the bank and gives me bad credit all because of poor organisation. The hotel is very new so most of the locals we asked when we got off the train didn't know where it was...lol. But the hotel is just two stops from Central Station so it's pretty close to the main part of town. Rooms were very clean and spacious and I was very impressed being in Europe where we know rooms can be quite a little snug. The staff was very attentive and they made SURE to let you know of the "no pay" policy (where if your not satisfied they don't expect you to pay..). I was very impre... Read more

New (just recently built) and good hotel in silent area. After walking all day in overcrowded tourist areas it great to come back to this silent area. There are a places to walk in the area. Some great restaurants are in 200-300m range from the hotel. Breakfast is good, personnel is friendly, rooms are clean and well-equipped. A bit expensive (we paid over 400 eur for double room for 3 nights), but at the end we recognized that it was well invested money.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Amsterdam and at first was a little concern about its distance from all the happenings of the area. Turned out to be great after we purchased the 24 hr transit pass. The trains are reliable and run on the predicted time schedule of google maps. The staff was warm and assisted us with a few printouts and faxes. On top of that they left us a little gift after finding out it was our anniversary!

I only used the hotel to sleep at and it was perfectly fine for that. It's a little outside the city centre but not much, 10 minute tram ride will take you to central station. The included breakfast has all the usual choices and was actually better than quite a few pricey ones at other hotels. The rooms were quite cheap for holiday season Amsterdam. WiFi is included in the price.

Cant really fault this hotel, The staff were great and really helpful. The room was excellent. Could do with a small sign above front door a new guests were walking by the front door. Could do with a extra member of staff at breakfast time to help clean tables and renew items when they run out

I have never stayed at a Hampton by Hilton and this was a real surprise. Really lovely rooms, fresh, clean and spacious. Breakfast is great too. Hotel is a couple of stops on the tram from Dam Square. We bought a transport ticket for 3 days and took the tram everywhere. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful too. For a city break, I would recommend this hotel if like me you don't want to be in the centre.

A really great hotel. Handy for the number 10 and no 26 tram. As always... Hilton comfort and cleanliness. Breakfast was really good and plenty to choose from. We would definitely stay there on our next trip to Amsterdam.

Fantastic stay, good location for us - only 3 stops on the 26 tram from Centraal Station & a short walk from the tram stop to the hotel. I would recommend the unlimited 3 day transport pass that we bought when we arrived at the airport as it's excellent value and allowed us to explore the city without worrying about any additional transport costs. The rooms are well appointed and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and we heard very little noise from outside our room at night, so a... Read more

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is only a 20minute walk or 3 minute tram ride from the centre of Amsterdam and there are a couple of great restaurants in the area around the hotel that are fairly quiet. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and the self service breakfast was a good start to the day. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. All in all a good hotel in a good location.

Amsterdam hotels are quite expensive in general, so I spent a long time searching for a hotel with a reasonable price. This one was a good choice - new, clean, silent (a room on the garden side) and just 3 tram stops to the central station.

Stayed here for a week end as a group of friends. The twin rooms are lovely and clean, with plenty of space for 2 people. The beds are very comfortable, and the shower is very nice. The staff are very friendly and breakfast was good, (especially as it is one of only a dying number of hotels that include it in the price these days). Not a great deal in the surrounding area but not far from the city centre. Would definitely stay again, especially for the price.

I stayed at this hotel back in September. My experience was great! Throughout my entire stay, from arrival to departure, the staff was super friendly always greeted us and answered countless questions. They were exceptionally helpful when it came to assisting us with directions. The location of the hotel is perfect for those planning on using public transportation. I found our room and common areas to be clean and amenities acceptable. I highly recommend to travelers!

Clean. Friendly. Close to trams and trains. 15 mins from centre. Food was nice. 24/7 snacks. Comfy beds. Pillows to die for!!!! Free WiFi. Staff spoke excellent English so was very easy to communicate. The only downside was drinks at reception were very expensive. A bottle of water ?3.50 Bit too pricy and let them down.

Location of the hotel is great, to Central Station only 3 tram stations. Rooms are spacious even though can be cold in the morning and when returning to room as heating is connected with room card. Staff is professional and at service. I will likely return to this hotel when next in Amsterdam.

Convenient location - 3 tram stops from Amsterdam Centraal; clean, comfortable room with hot shower; friendly staff; minor problem with my breakfast-to-go bag (found no drink included after leaving the hotel).

Quiet location just 10mins away from city centre and tram station is 3mins away from hotel. Only problem is the bumpy road access in front of the hotel and hard to get the baggage into the hotel. Overall the setup of the hotel is nice and room is perfect and better than same class hotel and is better if equip with bath tub. I love the f&b staff and their kindness and smile is wonderful. Nice chat with them and they are very friendly. Enjoy the environment and lovely stay.

This hotel is quiet and nicely furnished, and the breakfast was good, but not amazing. Although the hotel is within a quick tram ride to get to the Central Station, and city center, we were disappointed in the lack of restaurants and things to do within easy walking distance. We just took the tram into the city center each day and stayed there until after dinner.

We decided to try Amsterdam for the first time and didn't want to be in the center of the city. This was the perfect base for us, Rooms were clean and comfortable, Tea/Coffee facilities in room, Tv has lots of channels in lots of languages. The bar was small but comfortable, We had beer, wine, nachos and pizza when we arrived and all were very good and served with a smile. The complimentary breakfast set us up for a great day of sightseeing and it was always a joy to see how friendly and attenti... Read more

We stayed here for a three day visit to Amsterdam, it was the first time we had been in in many years. This hotel is perfectly located to be close to the central station, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet for quality rest. The breakfast buffet was awesome!

Everything about the actual hotel was great. Friendly and helpful staff, nice room, good wifi, and a decent breakfast included. The downside is if you're traveling on vacation it is a couple miles from the area you most likely came to visit. I only stayed one night and then moved to a hotel more in the city center.
