Hotel offers all the standard comforts, and its fairly well located to the city. Staff are great, comfortable bed. The lobby and hallways of each floor are overdue for a re-fresh, but the rooms themselves are ok.

Breakfast is ok but a bit expensive ar 15 euros , can get lovely breakfast or takeaway from cafe next door but need to go early or will have long wait ! Would def come back here .

This hotel is situated over the road from the Artis Zoo and excellent Micropia museum. A one minute walk left out of the hotel will take to you to the number 9 and 14 tram stop. The number 9 tram will take you through the Rembrandtplein and Dam Square and on to the Central Station whereas the number 14 will take the same route until you get to Dam Square and then off towards the Anne Frank House. A five minute walk right out of the hotel will take you to the number 10 tram stop which will take y... Read more

This hotel is in a great location opposite the zoo, outside of the centre's hustle and bustle so it is quiet, but has a tram stop outside which the number 9 and 14 run past so you can get straight into the centre. The number 9 takes you to the centre and the central train station, the 14 goes to the centre then turns off and takes you to the Anne Frank House. At the other end of the street you can get on the number 10 tram to Anne Frank, Heineken, Van Gogh, Canal tours etc. The room was comfort... Read more

Really nice hotel. Quiet and calm. Nice to have the hotel a bit outside the city center. The hotel is easy to find, and the tram stops / runs right outside. This is a hotel I can recommend. The hotel staff was pleasant.

We stayed here as a couple for a short break in Amsterdam. I can't fault the hotel. It was spotlessly clean, the room was a good size, bright and airy and newly decorated. The staff were hugely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The hotel is also set in a lovely area - only 10 minutes or so walk from the 'buzz' of the centre, but in a peaceful and quiet area. If you don't fancy the walk, there is a tram stop almost outside the front door. In short - I would highly recommend... Read more

The hotel was clean and all in all rather nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was also good but maybe a little small side. The only thing I could complain about is the breakfast and that wasn't even that bad.

Feels like a cross between a dormitory, hostel and office, very clean in a quiet location. With access to public transit 5 mins by public transit to Rembrandt Plaza. Reasonable price. I asked for a queen sized bed but got two twin bed pushed together instead.

The room was very clean and tidy, but kind of small. The bathroom is really small, but so are 90% of the bathrooms in Amsterdam. The hotel is 20-25 minutes by for away from the old city center, so we walked every day. Even if one can hear the traffic from the street, it was pretty quiet, we had no problem falling asleep. The staff was friendly and helpful.

First of all, the hotel is situated in a great location. 20 minutes from central Amsterdam in a quiet neighborhood away from the rowdy tourists. There are great cafes/ restaurants on the Plantage Middenlaan street such as the cafe/restaurant de Plantage, Cafe Smit & Voogt, Cafe Eik en Linde and Cafe Koosje. All very tasty and well priced. The room we stayed in on the first floor was newly, spacious and very clean. We did not have air conditioner, however, you do not need it in June. An open win... Read more

The rooms were really small and a double bed would be better then two single beds. And the cleaner needs to ensure that they clean all hair that was not ours off the walls. Other then that there was no other issues. And the hotel is in a great location.

I stayed with friends for three nights, the location wasn't too bad, it was out of the main area of amsterdam but walkable (20-30) min. The staff however were very unhelpful. Every time we asked a question etc we weren't paid proper attention to or looked after. We had two rooms, one had a fan (portable) the other didn't, and when we asked for one they refused. There was filming going on during our stay, and only having one tiny window to open in the room made it hot. The noise outside made it h... Read more

This hotel is located close enough to all the main attractions but still in a quiet peaceful area. The rooms were small but had everything we needed for 3 nights. The "double" bed was 2 singles pushed together and the pillows were more like large cushions. The staff were friendly when we had dealings with them but most times we entered and left the hotel there was nobody at reception. We had a lovely view from our room and overall our stay was very pleasant.

The Hotel is within walking distance of the city centre easily. Although it is not bang in the epicentre, it really is not a problem to get there and i think allows you to get to know the city and your bearings in a more effective way. service was great and the beds were comfy. Only issue was the two beds pushed together to make a double bed rather than just one big double bedâ?¦. but maybe that was just with our roomâ?¦ overall however we had no problems and it was a very comfortable and affor... Visited for a 2 night stay with my boyfriend mid July. Basic hotel. Best part was the bed! Did the job, was somewhere to rest our heads for the night however was very far from city centre! We didn't book transfers as everything is so accessible in Amsterdam but this was unfortunately very far out. It was very much prison-like. Some members of staff were wonderful and others a bit dim-witted. Overall, not as bad as it could have been.

The room we had was very spacious and nice, no complaints. The hotel location was far away from the very centre of Amsterdam and took 20 mins walk, because we didn't use the trams so much; Which in hindsight would have been more costly but more ergonomic for our feet! It is very easy to get lost, and if you do get lost at night; its best to take a bike taxi, as they get you home faster and cheaper. A very nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Ideally situated for the city centre (but not too close and noisy), as the centre if a brisk 15-20 minute walk, and a 5-10 minute tram ride. no.9 and no.14 trams go past the hotel (but don't create enough noise to wake you up), no.9 direct from the station and the n.14 a few minutes walk from the station. The metro is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.
