I booked room in this hotel via Booking.com few months in advance. I sent the message to the hotel via Booking.com app that we will arrive late (after midnight) in the morning of the arrival day. There was no response, but I assumed that everything is fine as hotel states 24x7 working reception. We arrived to the hotel at ~02:00 (after midnight) and met the person on duty (Hasim). He looked bit lost and informed us that our reservation was cancelled half a day ago because there was some payme... Read more

Easy acces from motorway, very close to exit. Close to busstop, in 25 minutes to Leidse Plein, every 10 minutes. Secure parking although expensive (? 17,5/day). Quiet green location, near a lake. Friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms wth everything you need for a city trip, nothing more nothing less. Very rich breakfast.Because it is so expensive try to book the 'Let's taste the city' arrangement by Mercure website. If you kan book against a special price very good value for money. We only stayed for one night at the hotel and did not try the breakfast as it was not included in the rate. The shuttle service to and from the hotels were efficient and the front desk staffs were friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable for our stay. Since the hotel is near the airport, we had the option of going back to the airport to take the train to amsterdam central station or to take bus 197 to Leidseplein Amsterdam. We spent three nights at the Mercure Amsterdam Airport this month when my wife's passport was stolen on our flight from JFK to Amsterdam on way to Tanzania. The staff was wonderful. They were willing to help us out with any questions we had as well as give us directions on how to get around on the bus/train system. They always had a smile! The was very nice and clean. The morning breakfast was excellent. I can only start to thank them for their hospitality throughout our stay. GREAT JOB!

This hotel was perfect for a short break. Check in and check out was very easy. The room rate was perfect. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The only problem I had was getting there via the metro station called Overamstel. You have to make sure you exit the station at the right exit, in this case the left hand side if you get off from Centraal the right side if you're coming in from the suburbs. If you don't there are no bridges over the canals and rivers in that direction and you have a very ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel prior to departing to New-Zealand the next day. The room was exactly what it had to be: very dark when the lights were out and hardly any noise from neighbouring rooms. The room was spacious and clean. A downside was that the breakfast was only open quite late on the morning of departure (don't remember again when) which didn't allow us to have our breakfast in a relaxed manner - rather rushing. The breakfast was in a buffet format and was OK - no fresh fruit juice (whic... Read more

Stayed here for a couple of nights with seven other ladies, for my daughter's 'hen weekend'. Arrived at the hotel late on Friday night via the hotel shuttle, checked in quickly, and the staff kindly informed us that we had ten minutes to order dinner, which we felt, was very good of them. Food arrived quickly, and we all enjoyed our meals. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and I was lucky enough to get the garden view room, complete with rabbits on the grass, and a soothing fountain. It was clean with a comfortable bed, hot and cold running water and a decent breakfast. All you can ask for from a transit hotel not one you would stay in if on holiday. Large car park, a friendly well stocked bar and, though we didn't have dinner there, the restaurant looked good with a fresh wide ranging breakfast to start your day.

We stayed here on 2 occasions recently. The hotel itself was decent for the price paid. The big disappointment was their airport shuttle bus, which was a main reason we chose this hotel. Good service, excellent breakfast with plenty to choose from. It was hard for multiple Uber drivers to find. It is only a short drive to downtown. They offer a shuttle ride to the airport which is why I chose it, with an early flight I wanted to be safe. The shuttle fills up fast, get there early.

The visit started poorly with an hour wait at the airport for the shuttle even though we made several attempts to book it, and were told it can't be booked. When it did show up we were told it had been booked by a group, who were loaded and we had to wait until they were taken and dropped off and then returned. Very annoyed, I would have taken a taxi if I'd known. The room is very small, outdated and noisy. The staff were friendly and breakfast was nice.

Very convenient if you only have carry-on luggage being "airside" you don't have to go through customs, etc. However, you do if you have luggage in the hold, and that spoils it a bit. Cheaper than the Hilton and Sheraton at the airport, but the rooms are small, modern but basic and do not have any windows or natural light which seems odd when you are inside. Finding the hotel is not easy. Look for KLM Lounge 52 and it is next to the entrance.

I really love the ambience of the hotel as it feels like you're in a 5 star hotel for a very affordable price. Location wise, it's about 10-20 minutes ride to central. What I didn't like about it is that there's only 1 bus (bus 197) going to central and back. Also the path going to the bus stop is a bit dangerous as there were no proper walking lane going to the bus stop but it was ok as we felt it was part of our adventure.
