Amsterdam was the final stop of our three-city vacation, and I think the hotels in the other two places (Aachen, Germany and Maastricht, Netherlands) spoiled us with their beautiful and comfortable rooms. By comparison, the Inntel rooms seemed smaller, cheaper, and less comfortable. They were also considerably more expensive, so that added to our lack of satisfaction. The location of the hotel was good, and the lobby was very upscale, but our room seemed more like what I would expect from a mote... Read more

The room in this hotel was a standard category we would usually upgrade but none available at this time, however the room provided all we needed, it was spotlessly clean, good linen, a peaceful & bright, a comfortable bed, TV with BBC news channel, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom had plenty of hot water and the shower over the bath was good, a hairdryer which worked well but no makeup mirror sadly. The hotel has breakfast available but it did not look impressive so we ate outs... Read more

My sister had previously stayed here and recommend it and we were not disappointed. Centrally located able to walk to most of the tourist places. Tram stop is close by however you can easily walk from the station to the hotel. Room was clean and adequately furnished. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but did enjoy some drinks in the lounge , which were very nice sitting by the fire . Would recommended and gladly return

It was the first time in Amsterdam for my wife and I. We guessed at what would be a good location when booking the room at Inntel Hotel. Well we found that it was a perfect location to walk to almost everything. Step outside the doors and you have multiple bars, restaurants and shops. You have a bike rental place next door and lots of main shopping/restaurants with in a 5mins walk. It is a quick walk from the central train station and easy to walk with your bags to the room. We chose this hotel for its location and we weren't let down. It seemed to be in the middle for all attractions and was very easy to walk to from the central railway station. A tram is also available if you prefer not to walk. There are many well priced restaurants in the vicinity for all meals. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient and were only too happy to provide assistance as needed. The room was reasonably large and well appointed.

It's 5 minutes walk from the Central station, Dam square, The Body Worlds, less than 10 minutes stroll away from the Red Light district, we didn't need to get a tram nor bus to get anywhere, just walked and walked. Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable, lovely shower, free WiFi, free satellite TV, I'd be happy to stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended.

Stayed in Inntel Hotels Amsterdam for a 4th time, this time with a few family members. Although we arrived at the hotel around Noon, 3 hours before check-in time, the front desk staff worked very hard to allocate 4 rooms for us that were already cleaned and all located on the same floor. I even was upgraded free of charge so all of us can be close. The rooms did not disappoint, were clean, spacious (for a place like Amsterdam), the bathroom was comfortable and clean. The hotel is close to the tourist attractions. Since I came for one night for business, the location was less important to me. On the reception courteous and efficient service. I stayed in business room on the fourth floor. small room, small bathroom. old furniture, but, well maintained. Slightly musty smell, probably because of the carpets. Free and fast WiFi

We paid $250 for 1 night at this hotel which is advertised as a 4 star property in a superior king room . This is the smallest room I have stayed in . I complained and they said the hotel was full . After getting the first flight out of Dublin we were exhausted and had just hoped to drop off our luggage and get a coffee while waiting for check in time. Hotel was easy to find and about a 10 min walk from the train station. The hotel room I had (Superior) was comparable to a Premier Inn room (if from UK) with the bonus of a safe. Quick walk to Dam Square or the Canal cruises. Plenty of restaurants\bars right outside the hotel entrance. I was expecting a better experience than what I had with this hotel. After booking it from Australia and looking at reviews online I thought I was in for a better room than what I got. I would only rate this hotel as a 3 star. Friendly staff but the rooms are very small, similar to IBIS Hotel rooms and there is not a separate shower. I have visited Amsterdam on many occasions and always stay in the same area, the Inntel Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Dam Square. The décor is very modern and the rooms are comfortable, and keep out the noise really well - even the trams ! I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Amsterdam as it is walking distance for all of the tourist attractions.

The Inntel in Amsterdam has one advantage: it is central located. But that it is. The rooms are small and you can see, that the furnitures are used. Under consideration the fact, that we paid as couple for one night 235 EUR not including breakfast, the price for the accomodation is too expensive. Service is friendly and the bathroom is clean.

This is an average hotel. Small rooms, well kept, no views. Staff is helpful, but nothing special. Amenities are limited, lobby area is small, sometimes crowded, with a small bar that is only open from 5PM until early evening. If you are planning for breakfast, try Vinnie's, on the corner to the left, rather than the hotel breakfast. It's cheaper and far better quality. So is the coffee. Overall, it is fine for a night or two in transit.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast as we felt it was quite pricey. We did feel safe in our stay. Overall a very good stay except the hotel didn't have a "wow" factor. The halls were dim and the entrance was almost dull. Otherwise a very good stay.

We expected an excellent stay based on the reviews so far. The decor was basic, and the foyer and reception was unimpressive. The room was like an ordinary B&B; and for the price charged we expected better amenities. The only plus point was location as it was close to the centre and most attractions. The minibar was well stocked but over priced. The breakfast was overpriced too and you might be better off having your breakfast in any of the nearby cafes or stock up at the supermarket.

Room was just ok and was quite upset that the staff seem to think one knock and entering your room is ok. Its not ok. Twice in one morning, the maid and another gentleman just walked into our room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, loved the hotel bar, great bar staff and lovely fire place! Also useful to have free computers/wifi to use. Close to everything, all in walking distance. Room wasn't as 4 star as we were expecting, but would consider staying again.

This would be considered and average 3 star hotel, tiny rooms, good location and near to some restaurants...in front of the "tram" stop...2 min from the Central Station...more of a business hotel...not recommended for families..

Lovely hotel in a great location for tourists. Just a short walk through a few lovely shopping streets before you are In the main heart of Amsterdam. First of all the reception staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble and they were always so smiley and cheerful. Our room shouldn't have been ready till 2 or 3 pm but we went at 1pm and our room was available so always try before you struggle with luggage waiting for check in time. We didn't eat in the hotel as breakfast was 18euro per pe... Read more

We walked from the central train station with our luggage - no problem at all. Not only is this a great advantage, but the hotel is near almost everything, including many tram lines. We thought the breakfast was expensive, but found many great places within five minutes walking. The staff were extremely pleasant, eager to help and please. The room was a bit odd shaped, but VERY clean. The bed was very soft and pillows rather lumpy. They were very happy to put a board under the mattress, which di... Read more

Our first visit to Amsterdam on a weekend break so we opted for a central location. Easy walk from Centraal Station, efficient and friendly staff on reception, we were allocated a quiet room as requested. Clean, comfortable rooms, stylish and functional, good wifi available throughout the hotel. There were no plugs in the bath or basin but a staff member arrived within 10 minutes after we contacted reception. Breakfast was included, a good selection hot and cold food and drinks and the bar area ... Read more

Ten minutes from the Central Station and Dam Square, this unpretentious but pleasant hotel may meet your needs if you want to be in the center of things. The room is adequate in size and furnishings without being luxurious. The staff at the desk is very friendly and helpful. Our room faced the front which allowed much natural light. Other rooms seemed to face an inner courtyard which might not have been as desirable. Notwithstanding our room facing front it was very quiet both night and day. The... Read more

My husband & I have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. The location is ideal for exploring this weird & wonderful city! Turn right out the hotel & after a 100 yards or so you are on the main shopping street. Restaurants, bars & shops are within a stones throw. The staff were all so helpful & very polite. Rooms were basic but had everything we needed for 2 nights (free to use safe). There was a fully stocked mini bar & snacks but were expensive (as you'd expect). We upgraded the si... Read more

Perfect location, walking distance to most areas. Hotel staff was exceptional, extremely helpful in all areas. Had a queen size room, was small but comfortable. The bar was also quite nice, but again small. I would highly recommended this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location. It is a five minute stroll from the railway station. If you ask the hotel they will give you unerring directions. It is within walking distance of most places. The rooms are well appointed and the staff are very friendly. We did not try the breakfast. It was ?18 extra per person per day. There are several nice restaurants in the area doing breakfast for around ?10.

The hotel rates itself as 4.2 stars but that is probably a bit of an overstatement. It is indeed very centrally located which is great but the hotel itself is a bit tired. We had a Junior suite which is larger that your typical European hotel room but is nothing special. It has an entrance down a rather weird staircase which leads to the single room which not what I would call a suite. The facilities are sound without being spectacular. The bath did not have a plug and it took two attempts to ge... Read more

My husband and I got to Amsterdam very early from NYC. We arrived at the hotel around 9 am and our room wasn't ready until 3 pm on the dot. Keep that in mind when you book your flights, they are pretty stringent on the check in policy. The hotel is in a very good location, it is located on a pedestrian street and surrounded by pedestrian streets. There are many coffeeshops, cafes, restaurants, and stores surrounding the hotel, making it an ideal location. It's about a 5 minute walk from Dam Squa... Read more
