We stayed at V Frederiksplein from monday till thursday in April. Our room was in the basement, which was small but very comfortable and modern. Very comfy bed nice but tiny bathroom. The breakfast offers all you need in the morning. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect location for a city trip, several trams in front and city center 20 min by foot. Very nice and modern interior with excellent taste of style. We enjoyed our stay there :-)

All of the staff were friendly and helpful day and night answering all our queries and providing ice for my sprained ankle! Yes the rooms are small but this is more than compensated by the ideal location by the tram stop and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. If I was to return to Amsterdam I definitely would stay here again!!

overall it was fantastic! the location was good - just far enough from the main area to get some quiet but close enough to go for a nice walk. Tram stops right out the front of the hotel as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was REALLY good (for a continental breakfast). Overall a great Hotel, highly recommended.

We were booked into this hotel on our instruction '2-3 star not too far from the city centre' so weren't expecting much. Surprise. The lobby entry has a welcoming fire surrounded by lounges and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a quirky but great 3rd floor (attic) room and we really enjoyed our stay. All the staff are most welcoming and the breakfast provided is pretty good too. All this just a hundred yards from the street of seven bridges and about 15 minutes walk fro... Read more
