I've just returned from a 3,day min-break chill-out in Dam and stayed here for the first time,my eighth visit to Dam over twenty years. This place is great,v.friendly and helpful staff, very clean and airy rooms and facilities, good local amenities and transport links. It is 15 mins from city centre,100 yards from Metro/Train stop. Used this hotel for a short, two night, visit. Very comfortable rooms, excellent service, and pleasant breakfasts. Very likely to book again for future visits. One minor negative gripe, which was more funny than serious, was that the lamps above the tables in the dining room are so large and low that we were constantly banging into them whenever we stood up from the table!

Your room will never be vacuum or dusted during your stay. A manager confirmed this. I cannot recommend this hotel to any other friends. It is really absurd to stay in such dust. You can easily get respiratory problems.

Breakfasf avarage or maybe below acarage. Scrambled eggs tastes far from good. Bathroom was not clean enough. Shower gel was empty. Only benefit for me was the walking distance to my office and trian station. For a short business trip ok, but if you want to find a hotel for your tourist trip, look somewhere else.

We arrived at our hotel for the next two nights in Amsterdam at the Hamptons by Hilton Amsterdam / Arena Boulevard in the Netherlands. Upon arrival, I already had launched into their Internet connection. Quick access wifi is always the best! We were on the third floor where there were two single beds in the room and a nice huge window where the sun was just setting. It was a nice, clean room but didn‚??t have that much space inside the room to place belongings or luggage. There was a flat... Read more

Booked this hotel as it was near the concert venue for Adele. Hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. Check in only took 5 minutes. Room was comfortable, beds lovely and shower good. Only complaint would be not able to adjust the air con to desired temperature, Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss at times and there were dirty marks on some of the bedroom walls - but probably these couldn't be removed without repainting them!.

The location of the hotel is good as it is right next to the Bijilmer train station, just 15 minutes away from the city centre and the staff is very helpful. But at the front desk there are two, sometimes three people serving customers. One of them is giving drinks from the bar which is adjacent to the reception desk so you need to wait in a queue and they don't have a concierge either.Once, one of the staff was a bit rude saying she could not help us because she was busy.In addition, the bathroom ... Tasty and a good selection of cooked and fresh products. Conveniently located to offices around Arena area, and you can leave your vehicle in the (paid) parking until end of day of departure.

For those in the US familiar to Hampton Inns, Hilton dropped the 'Inn' word to emphasize that this Hampton kept the Hilton trimmings but a cut above. Lobby. Large and open. The reception desk is literally connected to the hotel bar. Plenty of seating area. The breakfast crowd spills into the lobby area but its roominess was able to handle the added traffic. Room. Modern and updated. Traveling with the family, we got two twin beds. There is a medium sized closet, a fridge, safe, a hot po... Read more

We did't plan anything but as the road towards the south was rather congested i decided to give them a quick call and book a room for the night. The staff was friendly and the booking went rather swift. No complaints about the room nor the breakfast. Everything was new and clean and fresh.. An extra would be to have a live kitchen to provide roomservice or late night snacks. Recommended for a good night sleep.

We booked a triple room, and this was the biggest room we had during our 3 weeks trip around Europe, with almost the same prices. Rooms are clean, nice and comfortable, electric jar's also available. Breakfast are also nice with many choices of foods.

I spent a night for attending a conference there. It is a nice location, 2 km from the Amsterdam central. Rooms are nice and clean. Wifi connection of the hotel is also pretty reasonable. But you probably expect that from a ~150 Euros/night hotel. Breakfast has a reasonable spread, but not something extraordinary. However, I liked the freshly self made waffle with the maple syrup. Overall, I would consider it to be a place for business travel, not for family vacations.

Good value for money, what is useful is the train station across the road, easy to pop into downtown Amsterdam, 12 euro return and took about 30 mins, much better than a taxi. Hotel was clean, rooms clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful, car park was free. All in all efficient, convenient. Will stay again.

Wonderful weekend spent with my now fiancé. Hilton never fail to amaze me with thier amazing product and customer service. I'd asked before arriving if we could have a room over looking the ajax stadium as it was my partners 40th and he loves football. On entering the room we had a magnificent view of the ajax stadium and also a bottle of red wine. Eugene who was amazing front of house even arranging to put my partners gifts in our room. The hotel is a good 10 minutes by the hotel bus from the airport and through the night a ‚?¨23 taxi ride. It is smack in the middle of a business estate but there is a McDonalds if that is your want nearby and across the road, a rail station offering regular trains into Amsterdam and one stop to the airport. The hotel is modern, I found the desk staff all friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern very clean tiled with as big a bathroom as I have seen. The room looked new furnishings beddin... Read more

Stayed here for five days because it was cheaper and much quieter than staying in the heart of Amsterdam, it is very close to the train station and Amsterdam Arena, it also has several good restaurants close by, as well as a main shopping precinct. The staff at the main counter as well as the staff in the dining room are very welcoming and competent, the only draw backs were no fridge in the rooms although an ice bucket is available on request, and the house keeping left a lot to be desired, Ove... The hotel itself seems to be above a restaurant and other amenities - it's certainly wide with good views down onto the Apollo concourse. My room was pretty large with two double beds, one of which appeared to be a sofa bed that I couldn't fold away to give me more room, but I didn't feel it cramped much, just would have been nice to have a lounge area to take in the sights. The bathroom was clean, bright and functional with dispensers provided - I quite liked the efficiency of design. Despit... Read more

Would stay again in a heartbeat. Tons of restaurants around it and a main train station that takes you into the heart of Amsterdam. Breakfast is typical of Europe and has fresh food which is great. They were really accommodating with our son and with helping us get a crib in the room. The room was kind of small though but again, typical Europe.

Nice budget hotel on the outskirts of Amsterdam and next to the Area...If you are going to the arena it is a perfect match but it is only 15 minutes away from the central station by train and only about 30 minutes from Schiphol airport. The hotel is nice and new and have a nice breakfast included in the rate.

It was a horrible experience while checking in. It was 9:30 AM in the morning and the security of the hotel is so poor that my wife's purse was stolen from the lobby near the reception which had our passports too apart from a lot of cash and other valuables and the hotel did not own up any responsibility. Complaint was lodged with the local police station but no investigation was made during our stay for the next 4 days. Please keep away from this hotel as security is a big issue.

My friends and I wound up staying at this hotel due to a problem with the hotel that we had previously booked with, therefore we were lucky enough to stay here for a week for half price. The rooms were clean, large and had great natural light. However if you are looking for somewhere more characterful, a Hilton is obviously not the best option. First and foremost, the location of this hotel is excellent because you step out of the lobby and you're at the train station with easy access to basically everything. The hotel staff was very kind and professional. We had a suite and the room quality was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for both tourists and business travelers alike.

Positives - Good location, decent room size. Good breakfast - liked the waffles and pancakes on the menu. Also for the odd hungry hour good sandwich and nachos options. Negatives - Poor to listen. Had an issue with the washroom dispenser but in a 4 day stay it was not resolved. Also had asked for some more hangars but... They have a promise of refund if things didnt work well !!!

This hotel was in a prime location and close enough to the metro to be anywhere in the city with a short walk. The local restaurants were average as was the service, however the hotel staff were always willing to accommodate any request and always had a friendly smile on their faces. You are close to various retail stores and the IMAX. When traveling back to Amsterdam, I will be staying at this location again!
