Back again: corner room which is great. Bathroom and shower is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is nice as is the beer (nice vibe). Only problem this time was with the pillows: bit too hard/synthetic to my taste: had a hard time falling asleep.

We arrived after a 12 hour drive and went to bed and had a good nights sleep, however, in the morning there was a rather suspicious "clump" on the floor where we had moved a chair!..this turned out to be a bundle of pubic hair (and it wasn't ours!) the safe didn't work and there was no mini bar as advertised. I went to reception and advised him of the above and they agreed to move us. In our new room the safe still did not work and again no minibar. I was given the use of a safe by reception (th... Hotel is located in an area very similar to, but nicer than the O2 in East London. Station 5 minute walk with 25 minute train journey to Amsterdam Central via Metro or overland trains, platforms about 100yds apart. Very much a 'destination location' - also next to Ajax FC Stadium, and big cinema. Ziggo Dome was superb, good quality snacks and drinks, not too expensive. Overall a very decent experience - and yes Adele was awesome, and I wasn't 'the fan'. Only negative, was a rude young barman - r... Read more

The hotel was great. Although it was away from the central tourist part of Amsterdam, it was right near public transportation. It was literally downstairs. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. It was an overall great experience right near their arena.

I spent 3 nights at this hotel during a business visit to Netherlands. I had 3 days of spare time sp I choose to Visit Amsterdam :) My requirements were a decent hotel with breakfast. Although I prefer to stay at BnB or hostel for leisure trip, I choose to go for a hotel as I had office docs along with me. Holiday Inn was standing as an obvious choice, reasons being - Brand Name - Its spread across many cities I had visited, Quality - The rooms are well maintained with very good furniture, an... I travelled to Amsterdam on business several time and stayed in this hotel on a number of those trips. The staff are really nice, the hotel is clean and the food is good. It is right in the middle of the business district I was working in but has good travel links into Amsterdam.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The reception was clean and welcoming, the bedroom was also clean and spacious and modern. Location was fantastic, a short 5 min walk to the station and then 20 mins if that from the centre of town. Definitely will go again!.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for us, as it was near the city centre but just far enough out not be claustrophobic. The staff were most efficient at check in and check out. They were also very friendly and helpful with answers to questions on local area matters but were 'not in your face'. A more than ample breakfast was on offer each morning. What more could one ask for?

Stayed here a few times - a total of perhaps a dozen nights - during June 2016 and it was fine. Rooms are perfectly nice, bathrooms perhaps a touch small, but all the facilities are there and all worked. The hotel itself interpenetrates with the Holiday Inn Express, with which it shares a converted former office block. Certain floors are Holiday Inn, others Express. The hotel has catering on the first floor, serving bistro/brasserie-style meals (I suspect largely centrally catered and heated o... Read more

This was well placed for me to attend business meetings and I liked the modern styling and fee to the hotel. An really good bar in the first floor, well appointed rooms and a great view. Beds were good but my pillows were a bit odd (hard and lumpy). Small gym but ticked the boxes

Had a great stay at this Holiday Inn. Well located if you drive, about 20 mins to Amsterdam Centraal using the nearby train station. Use it whilst on business or if you are coming to attend a concert/football match at the Amsterdam Arena. Breakfast buffet is totally worth it.

Very nice hotel, the room was kept clean. The location is very close to station for train and subway. With this you can easy reach the area to visit tourist spots in town and 10-15 min to airport. The minus to this hotel was the poor breakfast that is served.

I chose this to be close to Arena for Beyoncé concert - and it was - 5 minutes walk to stadium which worked out fantastically well for us so can't recommend enough as a great location visiting the stadium. The unexpected bonus is that it was also a great location for the two days we spent sightseeing in Amsterdam being 5 minutes from metro which took us straight to central station (no.54) with tickets on sale at reception. It's located near the Arena, so if you go to a concert is your best option. About 5 minutes walk to a main train station so you can reach the airport in 20 minutes and ?5 instead of ?60 of a taxi and probably more time. If you want to go downtown is about 15 minutes, so you feel very close while you enjoy a very peaceful site. The rooms are very comfortable, with a very modern decoration and enough space (not very common in Amsterdam). The Wifi is free and works properly. The restaurant is v... Read more

Staff are polite and helpful. The breakfast was good with both a Continental and cooked breakfast available. Hotel in a quite area, and about 5 - 8 minutes walk from the station. The bedroom was acceptable in size, but nothing special seeing as the hotel had a 4 star rating. However, I have serious issues with the bedroom regarding cleanliness:- Firstly, the carpet looked like it had NOT seen a vacuum cleaner in a long time. No house keeping at all. Say that they vacuum on check out only, this is how you find your room at end of day.?????terrible mess.... The front office on duty on 29th Aug 2016 was very rude in the name of speaking on behalf of the Netherlands claiming that they don't make up rooms for 3stars hotels; some one from Holiday inn pls explain this since we stayed with the same chain in Paris and had a really good experience. Stayed here for the large car park for my van. Really nice looking hotel in side and out. The rooms were a good size and well equipped. Great large shower. The food was great in the restaurant, the breakfast wasn't as good as the holiday inn near the rai but was ok. All the staff were great very friendly and helpful. The bad bits there was a large stain on the floor and the chair the parking is expensive and the pillows on the bed are ridiculous.

Friendly and helpful staff at the reception, good service hours for breakfast, dinner, gym,.. Gym is small but well maintained. The open plan bar/restaurant is very nice if you want to work (if you don't want to sit in your room between meetings). If you don't want a full (expensive) breakfast, the Starbucks downstairs is a good option. The rooms are functional, clean and quiet. Professional run hotel. The location is in the Bijlmer, and has good connection with the city centre.

The hotel seems fairly new (< 10 years old) and offers everything you would expect in a standard American Holiday Inn room, including real air conditioning. (Every day I would find the maid had set the room to 19 C and I would adjust it back to 24) However, there are a few minor deficiencies. The room itself is of a reasonable size for American business hotels in Amsterdam, perhaps 12 x 14 feet? However the coat closet is a slot about 12 in. wide, and 6 in of that is taken by the ironing board... Read more

When the hotels in the centre of Amsterdam were going for ?230+ a night, the price of this hotel made sense. The hotel is an easy walk from the train and metro station, and it is a quick ride to the airport via the train, and to the city centre via the metro. The staff were immediately welcoming and tried to get us into a room despite arriving at 10:00am. They gave us a good map of the city and a great explanation of the best way to get around. A good hotel placed right near the Amsterdam Arena ( Ajax) . The surroundings are full of office buildings so there is nothing else to see in the areea . Although the areea has very good transport facilities with the city center and for that reason can be a good hotel for visiting Amsterdam . Bus , tram and train . My purpose was to attend the Amsterdam Half Marathon, and I chose this hotel given the proximity to the Metro line 50 which connects directly with Amstelveenseweg. It is also easily accessible to Schipol airport and the Centrum. The hotel is a new and spotlessly clean building shared with the sister brand, Holiday Inn Express. As a brand, I have never really used Holiday Inn but this hotel has changed my perceptions considerably. Housed in the same building as the limited service Express by Holiday Inn, in what I assume was an office building in a former life, this impressive modern hotel provides everything necessary for a 1 or 2 night business trip.
