We stayed for a couple of nights after our trek to EBC in November 2016. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, the food was fine, and location handy for the airport and for walking into Thamel. A great place to recover after the trek.

We stayed here before and after a trek. The rooms are large with tasteful Nepali carved dark wood furnishings. Both rooms had two beds, a free-standing closet, cabinet with older TV, sitting area with a small table, desk with coffee/tea service (and 2 liter waters)and bathroom with a tub and HOT water. You need to ask for a hairdryer, and we had to ask for smaller towels (only had two large towels in the bath on both occasions.) Also make sure you can operate the heater as it gets quite cold in ... We had a lovely stay, rooms were great, big beds and the food was delicious! Such a great welcome! For dinner we were served from a buffet with great nepali dishes, some of them spicy and very tasty. The hotel has a great terrace, great for a coffee or an after dinner beer.

Worked with these guys for an event we put on in November. Flawless catering for over 100 people, and super breakfast. Big rooms that are excellent value and a great introduction to Nepali hospitality. I look forward to working with them for many years to come.

I stayed at the Manaslu for one night in November as part of a big marathon group. I was impressed with everything I saw while I was there. The front desk staff, doormen, barmen and everyone else I came into contact with were fantastic - polite, helpful and all with great senses of humour too. They were so attentive - it made such a difference to my stay. The room was nice, I stayed in a triple room and although it was nothing breathtaking, it was clean and the bathroom was great. Lots of hot wat... Read more

We stayed here for 3 days before and 3 days after our trek to Gokyo lakes and EBC. The hotel was very clean and tidy with an excellent covered outdoor lounge/bar area. The swimming pool looked very clean, although we didn't actually use it. Good variety at breakfast which started very early and finished late (6 till after 10am). Drinks a little bit expensive compared to the local bars, but you are in a hotel. Location is off of the main road so it is nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly ... Read more

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Manslu. All staff were very helpful and welcoming. The location itself was quiet but only moments from a bustling shopping street Lamzipat and easy walk to Thamel. The reception area and the adjacent huge covered outdoor space were wonderful relaxing places to rest and spent time with fellow travelers. Fellow travelers loved the pool. I stayed both before and after trekking. Both room were comfortably appointed. Initially I thought the beds were hard but I ... Read more

Staff was not friendly; at first when we arrived in the morning, they told us to wait for an hour before the room was available, when we asked 1.5h later, they said it would take another hour. No excuses whatsoever. We asked for a room with a bathtub (since we just came back from EBC), but apparently there was no such room available. Breakfast was really bad; tasteless and not fresh. Every morning we got woken up by a rooster around 5.30 am, even with closed windows and earplugs. Also, staff sta... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights and had 2 different rooms in opposites sides of the hotel. The room above reception was very basic and the bathroom had a very strong urine odour in it. The room did not feel clean and the rug and phone in particular were very grubby. We were told that wifi was chargeable in this room. The other room was the opposite side of reception and was slightly better. Wifi was free in this room despite it being the same rate. A male member of staff let himself into our room wi... Read more
