Had an amazing stay at the Sofitel thanks to Mr Soufiane the general manager of the hotel who made everything possible for us to feel at ease. We'll never forget his understanding and hospitality. The hotel itself is great (room, staff, food) definitely will stay there again for our next visit to Marrakech.

It is a nice hotel and the food is fine. It is quite and comfortable. I was feeing really at home as the personnel was caring and ensuing that I am enjoying the best time. I like the always smiling staff you come across who make you feel safe and relax. I enjoyed the restaurant "So Good" as the food is really good with a nice live show. I had an excellent service and was impressed by the young Whalid who gave me an excellent service making my evening really special.

Large luxury hotel with spacious pool/cabana complex set near the old city and medina. Beautiful Moroccan theme throughout. Seems to be one of the favorites of well-heeled Moroccans and others. Our room had a very large ( by hotel standards ) deck with table and lounge chairs overlooking the pool area. First class service throughout. Don't be surprised to see Bentleys and other high line cars in the driveway.

This is a very lovely hotel near the town but secluded. Key for us we stayed for the day and used the restaurant and pool. We are staying in a Riad and it was great to chill by a pool. A bit pricey as should have paid 450 Dh as a non resident but we never asked. Lunch was 400Dh for two salads and a drink each

Such a beautiful hotel, amazing standard and lovely staff. The rooms are great and the pool is beautiful on a hot day! The breakfast was lovely and the hotel is in a good location. There was a supermarket within walking distance and also the old town, a busy street with some restaurants (can't remember the name but the hotel directed us) within walking distance.

Sunday to Sunday at the Sofitel Marrakesh far exceeded our expectations. We arrived tired and slightly stressed after a strangely confrontational taxi transfer from the airport (Which should cost you 100 dirhams- i think a fixed rate to the region that Sofitel is located) The moment we pulled up, the bell boy opened the taxi door and we felt like we'd arrived at a 5 star hotel...finally. The security staff at the entrance to the hotel were so kind and gracious. We were led up into reception whe... Read more

The resort is excellent. It is clear, large, with many types of swimming pools. Food/restaurants are good. The service is overall good but I think the management should formally introduce a benefit for Platinum Accor member, as currently there is no extra benefit for Platinum in comparison with Gold. To me they offered a free access to internal Spa/swimming area, but I recommend this to be a standard for Platinum members. I should highlight one special member of staff - Zeyneb. She was excelle... Admittedly we stayed during Ramadan but that doesn't excuse the quality of service we received. This had nothing to do with the number of staff on duty but their collective ability to busy themselves doing nothing. I suspect that this will not be an isolated experience as it takes a lot of practice to be able to maintain your eyeline 2 feet over everyones heads. That is of course unless you are a "VIP" guest when the staff make no pretence about service your needs above the other guests. Shame t... Read more

This hotel is great for multiple reasons. First of all, the location is ideal. You're able to quickly and easily walk into the Medina, while stopping along the way at multiple locations for photos or a drink. You can also pick up taxi's easily from the hotel, as they sit on the main street; their prices are competitive and you can haggle for a deal. Secondly, the hotel itself is nice.
