I see some of the poor reviews for this hotel and I have to disagree. We loved it. We had two rooms one for us and one for the teens. It was beautiful and opulent and perfect for a visit to Morocco. It was easily reached from the airport by taxi and check in was easy and the desk people so kind and polite. Our rooms had fruit and flowers in them and were large, quiet and beautiful, the beds were very comfy and the rooms very clean. No complaints. The breakfast was lovely, and included absolutely... The hotel is In need of considerable updating to bring it back to a 5 star rating currently this is only a 3 star hotel and I would say my wife and I are easy going when on holiday. However on this occasion we have book half board and this has been a waste of time, the hotel has 2 restaurant one Moroccan and the second international, the menus are very limited and whilst we were there for 7 nights we only had company In the restaurants on 2 occasions. The service was so poor that you can underst... Read more

Stayed at the Royal Mirage Deluxe after a few nights in a Riad in the Medina, looking for an oasis of peace and tranquility. The pool area is lovely and the public areas opulent and there seemed to be very few people around (stayed in October). There are some luxurious restaurants and a quiet bar. But - the walls are very thin and every word said in the adjoining room or outside could be heard. we had a terrible night's sleep. And be safety conscious outside the hotel - two kids on a scooter t... Read more

I plan to visit Marrakech for business during the COP in November. The governmental organization who invited me asked us to book the rooms early because of this big event. So I made a reservation in early April (7 months in advance). I was really upset when I got a telephone call on October 4 telling me that the hotel will be closed and that my reservation was cancelled. Although I was really upset when I tried to reserve the hotel again and saw that it was still available. Only the price for on... Read more

This hotel is smaller then average five star hotel and this is my main attraction point, very well architecture, Moroccan decorations throughout, staffs are very friendly and try their best, the swimming pool is amazing and huge compared to hotel size , not far from jam El fana, there is a supermarket nearby , Taxis readily available, check in / check out was quick , we stayed twice in this hotel and will certainly go back. Special thanks to Najwa( in reception) a lovely person got her own baby ... Read more

This hotel was supposed to be 5* and was a substitute for another 5* we had actually booked. I would say 3*. Staff were friendly but not very informative when we arrived. Eg did not tell us basic info such as breakfast times, facilities within the hotel until we asked. Our room was also unavailable so we were given a twin rather than a double for the first day. Breakfast buffet was good and lots of options available but not efficiently replaced when empty. Pool was lovely. Pool bar staff were ve... Read more

We booked this hotel because of it's excellent location.Lobby is impressive. All in Moroccan style. We arrived around 1 pm.Reception told us, the rooms would only be ready by 3 pm. So we decided to have a snack in the lobby. Ordered club sandwiches. Waited more than 40 minutes for the food. At 2.45 the rooms were ready. Dissapointing. Not super clean, antique bathroom. Had supper at the hotel. Ok but average, and very slow. We learned then, that -because of the King's birthday- more than 60% of ... Read more

We have recently just completed a 4-night stay at the hotel. From the hotel's reviews here, I was hesitant in making the booking but I got a great deal. I had nothing to worry about as this hotels was lovely with really nice, helpful, friendly staff. Any staff we encountered spoke english and were more than eager to help. You walk into the lobby that is just simply stunning. We had a room with a balcony overlooking a residential street and it was lovely and quiet as we had a toddler. The bathroo... Read more

Definitely is not a five star hotel. Bed sheets were dirty with dark mark .no sleeper,no teeth brush are provided.the room was dusty. They served spoiled melons at breakfast but pastry was good. Minibar was empty. Free wifi with good speed. Staffs were friendly and only few could speak English. The location is very good.walking distance to Jamaa al Fana and old city also it is near to new town where you cand find international brands shop and fast food .

If you like your hotels quirky, friendly with a dose of faded opulence then come visit. Nestled almost against the old Medina wall but based in the up market Hivernage RMD offers spacious bedrooms with great air con and friendly, if not a little slow service. The location means the chaotic Medina is in walkable distance as is the 'new town' Guliez. We arrived a couple of days before eid and we were the only guests in this 79 bedroom hotel, for a while at least and were very well looked after... Read more
