Everything about Dar One exceeded expectations. As soon as we arrived we were made immediately at home by the night manager even though our flight had been delayed three hours, so it was dark and we were soaked by a Marrakech downpour, but the moment we walked through the door the stresses evaporated. The whole ambiance is about relaxation and chilling out after the hustle and bustle of the medina and Jean and his staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Our room (Dune) was comfortable, w... We booked Dar One exclusively for my best friend's Bachelorette party and I cannot start to explain how perfect everything was. The property was incredible, the rooms ideal, he service impeccable and we enjoyed every minute and every bit of our stay. Highly recommended!

We wondered what we were going to find at the end of our walk down little alleyways. An oasis. Lovely room (a little dark but I think this is standard in the riads) with a huge bath on the first floor - the one on the roof looked even nicer (and lighter) but opening on to a terrace with seating area and breakfast tables used by other people so perhaps a little lacking in privacy. Loved the purple and orange colours on the ground floor. Very comfortable bed. Lovely linen. Very helpful staff w... Read more

A very nice, well maintained boutique guest house in the center of Marrakech. The hotel is hidden in the small alleys of the old town (Medinnah). After a short walk in the narrow picturesque alleys of the old town, like in the Harry Potter stories, you reach the hotel. It is a fully restored and renovated old house with a beautiful inside garden where they serve breakfast. Breakfast is also served in the terrace on the roof. The hotel is small (6 rooms) and its staff are very welcoming, friendly... Read more

Riad Dar One is a hidden treasure. The staff are smiling and delightful without being overbearing. Nothing was too much trouble and the riad was clean and attractive with a wonderful roof terrace. Beds comfortable with gorgeous towels and sheets. The highlight of the stay was the day in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains with Hassan who is the best guide. This was arranged through Dar One. Hassan took us to the real Morocco and we didn't see another tourist all day. He has a wonderful m... Read more
