I arrived in Marrakesh after a 3 hour train ride from Casablanca for a 3 night break before heading back to Australia early December 2016. The taxi driver dropped me as close as he thought he could.(I had read that the alley ways leading to most Riads are far too thin for taxis to enter so was not surpised!) I was a solo traveller, never been to Marrakesh...searched for a friendly face to guide me to my Riad. (background....I had tried calling the Riad several times at various times during the d... I arrived to the Riad and was greeted and made to feel like home. I rested for a bit and then went out. When I came back I was offered dinner and ended up eating dinner with the owner. I was given some wonderful information and booked tours and services for my stay. During the 5 days I was there I was treated very nicely and anytime I had questions, someone was available to help. On the last day, I was asked to pay for the services I had previously paid for. I found out that the Riad had been so... Read more

I apologize for the lateness if my review, but I wanted to share my experience. I booked a stay here and really enjoyed the riad in the city. If you are going to Marrakech, stay in a riad...no question about it. And if you are staying in a riad, stay here. :) The hotel proprietor was very helpful in booking some trips outside. Also had a massage there, and it was fantastic and well priced. We also enjoyed some great conversations on the roof that was nice as a solo traveler. Breakfast and aft... Read more

I booked a stay through my credit card points/orbitz for our honeymoon from 12/8-12/12. I arrived in Marrakech and when our guide called the riad the phone number wasn't working. Emailed the person we had been in contact with to call us and when we were called back we were told that the hotel was closed for renovations!!!!!! How dirty and shameful. Do NOT stay here. Now I need to try and get my credit card company to refund me my points. TripAdvisor please remove this road from your site!

The service and welcome from this Riad is second to none. We arrived a little way from the Riad (in the taxi from the airport) where we were met and guided through the medina to the building. The place is stunning. We had been delayed on our outward journey so arrived early evening, and as we had not had time to get our bearings they recommended a local Tuk Tuk driver to take us to our restaurant the we had pre-booked, well - what an experience! Lovely people and nice welcome. They came to pick me up when I arrived into the old city because in such a maze it was impossible to find the exact address. Google maps leads to a street with the hotel sign So go left right right Breakfast was nice and good proportions. Clean rooms except the shampoo and shower gel bottles. I didn't try the massage or Hammam you should reserve because the massue isn't there everyday. To easily find a taxi leave the hotel, left left right left and straight fo... Read more

We wanted the experience of having an immersive experience in the medina, but also wanted a quiet spot to rest and relax. This Riad was perfect. It's just a few minutes walk from the souks, and the entrance is nothing but a door in the alley, but inside is a roomy, airy respite. Service was excellent - our room seemed to be tidied whenever we stepped out. We ate dinner at the Riad on the night we arrived, and am glad we did. The food was excellent (and lots of it!); wine was available; and ... Read more

I'm a bit late in reviewing this place as I visited in September, but for a place like this; it is worth reviewing no matter how late! We were lucky enough to hire the entire read for a hen party- and it was just great! Mention must go to the absolutely wonderful staff who were always ready to help us with whatever requirements we had at whatever time! The rooms were immaculate, really traditional and just so homely! Thank you so much for making our stay - and hen weekend perfect!!

We were a party of 12 for a 50th Birthday party. It took a lot of deciding and planning, but from the very first email all our correspondence was answered swiftly. We were picked up by a mini bus and transported to the hotel and met by Abdess and Morad, all our cases were taken to our individual rooms. The rooms were all individually decorated with beautiful local furniture and artwork. On our evening of arrival, Abdess had organized a wonderful buffet for us all and some local musicians and als... Myself and my partner had the pleasure of staying here on a recent visit to Marrakesh. We were greeted by very welcoming staff who, once we'd checked in, showed us to our beautiful room and offered us a complimentary drink and local tea. Our room was beautifully furnished with very traditional high quality furnishings and the bed was amazingly comfortable. It was clean, something I am very particular about. We booked to have dinner in the restaurant on our first evening and we were not disap... Read more
