A lovely little, intimate riad. The owner, Laurent, was terrific - very helpful, not only in carefully showing us how to get around, but also how to deal with the people. He spent a lot of time with us. Other hotel staff were also gracious and friendly. The breakfast had lots of fresh bread, but they were happy to add eggs when we asked for them. All in all, we thought it was a really lovely place and I would definitely stay there again.

I have just spent 5 nights at Riad Al Badia with 2 friends and I cannot wait to revisit. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Laurent, Mohamed and the whole team could not have done more for us. After we had been provided with mint tea Mohamed took us on a short walk to enable us to get our bearings which really helped. We had assistance arranging escorted tours of the Medina and this was invaluable when walking around the souks. The riad is beautiful, it felt like home an... Read more

Set within the old city walls this beautiful Riad is well located for you to explore with the Bahia Palace, Jemaa El Fna square and the souks just a short stroll away. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is a feast of fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt and delicious pancakes and breads all baked by their fabulous chef Samira. I would also recommend you come here for dinner as Samira prepares the most amazing Moroccan salads and Tagines. Laurent and his team were s... Read more

An absolutely marvelous Riad. I don't have enough superlatives at my disposal to do justice to this place. The entire team especially kind Laurent and Mohamed are incredibly welcoming and helpful. This gorgeously and extremely comfortable Riad is perfectly located, the atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious. The breakfast is generous and exceptionally good. When in Marrakesh we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We went to Marrakech for our 25th wedding anniversary for 5days. We stayed at the Riad Al Badia which was a good location and the staff there could not do enough for you. They are very friendly and helpful. Staff showed us how to get around the town and the best places to go to everyday. Riad Al Badia is a small Riad but well worth staying at. Breakfast was wonderful and you can have breakfast anytime you like, no fixed times. Food is made fresh in there own kitchen. We had a wonderful 25th wedd... Read more

The riad is hidden away in a corner of the Mellah, not far from the Royal Palace, a little hard to find the first time, but no problem afterwards. The directions given by the manager are good, or you can ask as we did for a car and driver to pick you up; expensive, but worthwhile. The riad is beautifully finished and very comfortable. Breakfasts and service are excellent. Warning about the laundry service - ask the price in advance.

The medina in Marrakech is such a hive of activity, having a place like Al Badia waiting for you in the evening is a must. From our first minutes at the Riad, my wife and I were treated with meticulous care. We stayed in many such Riads in our journey through Morocco and the service here was a clear step above the rest. Monsieur Laurent's deft attention was a true pleasure and Muhammad even walked us through the narrow alleys near the Riad to the heart of the medina. The common space of the Ri... Read more

From booking the hotel through departure the hotel staff went out of their way to make certain our stay would be ab experience not easily forgotten. You will not find a cleaner, more accommodating hotel in all of Marrakech. The rooms were well appointed, very clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel serves a breakfast each day that can be customized to your tastes, or better yet let Samira choose for you so you can enjoy all the tastes of Morocco. Make sure you schedule a dinner to explore the... Read more

I cant say enough good things about this place. Laurent, Mohammed and the rest of the staff took excellent care of us. Everyone went of out their way to make us feel comfortable, especially Mohammed. We had a delicious dinner prepared by Samira the last night we were there. We would always stop at the lounge next to the pool on the way back to our rooms to chat and drink Moroccan mint tea. I would stay at this riad if I visit Marrakech again.

Riad Al Badia is a charming guest house located very centrally in the medina. It is incredibly clean, comfortable and beautiful, with all the details thought through -- such as candles lit at night, fresh roses in our room and incense to make it smell delicious throughout, as well as a really nice breakfast each morning. However, what really set our stay apart was the incredible level of service and kindness from Laurent, Mohammed, Hassan and the rest of the staff. As three women travelling to... Read more

I don't normally write many reviews but felt compelled to do so due to our fantastic experience at Riad Al Badia. We spent 1 night here after a few days in Essaouira and it was wonderful. From the moment of our arrival to waving goodbye out of the taxi as we left, Laurent and his team treated us to true 5 star service. Their attention to detail is second to none, from preparing small pastries without nuts for our arrival due to an allergy in our group to pre-filling out our customs cards for the... Read more

Riad Al Badia is simply beautiful! We stayed here for most of our time in Morocco and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Laurent and his team are so warm and welcoming, and they offer a truly personable service. From the first glass of mint tea and the delicious meal on our first night to being shown around the main sites, the team were so helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. We experienced Moroccan hospitality at its best. Located in Berrima in the sou... Read more

My partner and I have just returned from a week at the Riad Al Badia and we would go back tomorrow. The warm welcome and personal feel to the service is just part of what makes this place special. It feels like home! Set in the Berrima district, amongst the palaces in the southern part of the Medina, the riad is peaceful, spotlessly clean and extremely relaxed. Little touches like having no set times for breakfast just allows you to take everything at your own pace; as once you step outside, you... Read more

Brilliant. I don't think there is any better word to describe Riad Al Badia and its quality of service. Its staff is just amazingly helpful and kind. Its breakfast just looks so delicious you want to take tens of pictures of it. I am barely exaggerating... I have traveled around the world and I have not seen such kindness very often. The Riad Al Badia team is committed to making your stay in Marrakesh unforgettable. They also want to make sure you get to see what's to be seen...in short they are... Read more

We were looking for an authentic riad experience and were not disappointed! Laurent, Mohamed, Hassan, Samria and Asma could not have been more helpful or accommodating. As soon as we arrived, Mohamed and Laurent talked us through a map, pointed out local places of interest and walked us to the nearest square to help us get our bearings. A particular highlight was having dinner on the terrace on Sunday evening. To dine at the Riad a reservation is essential; not just because it's an intimate terr... Read more
