We stayed in Riad 72 for 5 days for our baby moon, the first two in Karma suite and the remaining 3 in Aman deluxe room both of which had their distinct character. I would have liked to stay at the suite for our full stay but unfortunately the room wasn't available for the full duration but it wasn't a bad thing in the end since Aman was a brilliant experience in its own right. We had the most amazing time in Marrakech and I can't thank the staff at Riad 72 enough for their amazing hospitality ... Read more

My partner booked this Riad as a surprise for immediately after our 3 day trip into the Sahara. We arrived feeling exhausted after an 11 hr minibus trip, so stepping through the doors of Riad 72 very nearly made me cry! The welcome from Stefania was wonderful, having our hands washed in rose water, & then being served Morrocan pastries and mint tea whilst our paperwork was completed was lovely. We were lucky enough to receive a room upgrade, which gave us a stunning room, with a private roof... Read more

We enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere supported by a great staff, original style, and excellent food. Perfect for non-locales looking for an authentic experience with all the niceties of a high-end boutique. This place is one of a kind.

Traveled with my wife, daughter and son in law and their two children. We originally stayed in the sister riad but there was an issue with hot water which meant a move to this one. The rooms are smaller and the terraces are OK . Breakfast is varied and an eclectic mix of French and local cuisine. The management dealt with our issues well after we had expressed our dissatisfaction over the hot water situation, and provided a generous refund. Overall as a short break it is ideal, but beds are a li... Read more

We stayed in this Riad for only a couple nights which I wished we were there longer! It was absolutely beautiful and the staff were incredible. The rooms were clean and beautiful and the food was fantastic! I would suggest to have dinner on the rooftop as you get such a spectacular view of the sunset. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in Riad 72 for 3 nights to celebrate a birthday and wedding anniversary. The staff there couldn't do enough for us, without being 'there' (in our face) they were always there for us if that makes sense! They almost sense when you need them. We literally felt like we were in our own home, it was so relaxing and friendly. The hammam on site was awesome. Riad 72 is in a great location, easy walking distance to the Jemaa El Fnaa and the fantastic souks. Breakfast was lovely, lunch and dinn... Read more

We came here for our honeymoon and was blown away by the effort Stefania and her team went to to make our stay special. We arrived in the evening to a candle light dinner on the roof overlooking and Marrakesh and a beautiful room covered in candles and rose petals. Stefania was super helpful from the first booking enquiry until the day we left the Riad. During our stay her team were always on hand and super helpful. We had delicious breakfast on our own balcony over looking the courtyard. I wou... Read more

Rooms are a good size, comfortable and spacious. The Riad is beautiful and in a good location. We had dinner in the Riad one night, whilst some dishes were great (the seabass), other more traditional dishes (chicken tagine) were disappointing and could be improved. Breakfast was a little limited and samey after a few days.

A truly magical, charming and traditional place. An oasis to return to after exploring Marrakech. Amazing breakfast and roof terrace. Charming authentic room and friendly hosts. All the staff could not do enough for us. Collected us immediately from taxi drop off.Effective air-con and extremely comfortable beds. Hamman and then dinner on the terrace was wonderful. A most relaxing stay.Could not recommend this more highly.A pool would have been a bonus.

We stayed here during the June heat, and it was perfectly cool and quiet. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and there is a lovely sunset view from the terrasse. We had breakfast outdoors, as well as lunch in the courtyard - the food was delicious. The staff were very helpful and thoughtful. We would be happy to stay here again!

Riad72 was a bit of a change in our usual holiday experience as we usually stay at the upper end of the hotel market as the service industry is part of our work and we use these opportunities to see how other people/cultures/countries are providing services to guests/clients. I'm not always comfortable in the intimacy of a House Hotel, but Riad72 had some of the best staff I've come across in some of the world's leading hotels. I can say with great conviction that Stafania, the hotel Manager's... Read more

I visited Marrakech with 2 friends and I have to say that beyond just amazing amenities, this hotel went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one! As soon as we checked in, they served us an amazing breakfast spread that would put the Four Seasons to shame. Then after giving us time to settle they handed us a mobile with the hotel #, the manager's # and security all preprogrammed to ensure we always felt safe. Lastly as 3 girls we worried about walking around after dark, but Riad 72 too... Read more

This self proclaimed boutique hotel is rather a let down - there is no denying that everything looks lovely but it's a case of style over substance. Maybe as much effort should have been made getting the showers and air conditioning to work. We booked three rooms - two standard and a deluxe - the deluxe had a kami kaze staircase, up to a sleeping platform, that would have given anyone who works in Health and Safety nightmares. We declined the deluxe room and had to take a suite (at extra cost) -... Read more

I normally do not take the time to add a long review, but in this case it is worth it. Stefania and her staff were outstanding. The room we had was big, comfortable, and had multiple air conditioners...a must in the heat of June/July. The staff helped with guides, taxis, maps, recommendations, restaurants...most of the time we did not even need to ask, they seemed to be one step ahead of us in anticipating what we wanted. After the first day, they knew what we wanted to drink, when to prepar... Read more

I'd seen the reviews of this place and I have to say it was amazing. First trip to Marrakech so we didn't really know what to expect but as soon as you walk into the courtyard this place is very special. Stefanie from the Riad had got in touch the day before and organised our transfer. Porter to meet us at the taxi drop off and collect our bags and everything was set up perfectly. We booked a deluxe room so that we had a terrace looking onto the courtyard and I would advise checking if you... Read more

Hidden behind a very non-assuming door, this riad is a secret gem. The courtyard is filled with lush greenery with tables scattered around for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The team, lead by Stefania were so smiley, polite and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was stunning with beautiful grey tadelakt surfaces and our own private roof terrace ?? a real luxury in Marrakech. Evenings were spent having a gin and tonic on the terrace and admiring the view. We did not eat at the restau... Read more

Travelling by arranged taxi, the staff was waiting for us by drop off point and led us through to the riad. We were very impressed upon arrival. The design is so ambient inside the riad; giving such a big contrast from the busy street. We were welcomed with mint tea and biscuit. We booked the room with a terrace and it is over my expectation. Room is clean, air conditioned and well decorated. The bathroom is spacious with walk in shower. Terrace has table, sun beds, cooling shower etc. A... Read more

This Riad is the most incredible hotel I have ever stayed at. From the warm reception we received when we arrived right down to the tiny day to day details. Breakfast was amazing every morning, as was the many lunches and dinners we had here (the best food we ate in marrakesh for sure) . Everything is very fresh and locally sourced, you can taste the difference. Lots of variety for breakfast. Stephania was amazing from the first email booking our stay, to the last moments before we left. She ... Read more

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights and a day. We were welcomed by Aviv stepping out of our Riad 72 private taxi, who escorted us to the hotel from Dar-el-Bacha (a useful taxi waypoint). Stepping through the black cedar entrance door you are greeted not only by pleasant staff, but a serene ambient courtyard, shaded by the swaying green leaves of a banana tree. Under which you are asked to sit at a table, where staff present you with Moroccan Mint tea & Pastries, served in wonderfully ornate si... Read more

This lovely riad encompasses everything that Marrakech should offer. It's in a very quiet location, and once through the front door you feel completely at home in the courtyard, surrounded by the guest rooms. My son was on crutches during this visit and the staff, headed by the wonderful Stefania, could not have been kinder or more helpful. We loved the large airy room, and eating on the roof terrace both at lunchtime and especially in the evening, was magical. I will definitely stay there agai... Read more

We stayed at the Riad 72 for 4 nights and we LOVED it!!! the staff was wonderful, very welcoming and diligent, and they made us feel very welcomed and comfortable during our stay. We loved Rasheed he was stellar and very nice. The restaurant was also very good, and we loved how much variety there was in the menu, I loved the vegetarian options, and the cuisine was sublime! Breakfast was great too! WE would go back to Riad 72 if we come back to Marrakech. We definitely recommend it!

Just returned with my loved one from Marrakech last week, after a four night stay at Riad 72, and the sensations of a wonderful experience are still present. A lot of attention has been put into the interior design of the rooms and facilities, the result being a chic and delightful atmosphere. I loved getting back from the chaos of the souks and being welcomed by the candle light and relaxing music in the patio. We had a large group of friends visiting over the weekend and everything was PERFECT. Stefania and her team were wonderfully attentive yet never overbearing and left us to socialise together as friends. They knew exactly who we were, (we rented the whole Riad) and which rooms we were staying in, so our bills were already sorted when we came to check out which was extraordinary. The Riad itself was beautiful, well maintained, clean and the rooms are spectacular. A variety of sizes and styles ... Read more

During our stay we travelled in a big group which enabled us to rent the entire Riad 72 but I'm sure regardless of the size of your group you'll have the same kind of experience we had. Personally, I was blown away by firstly the interiors and themes that varied from room to room. You could really see that someone had gone that extra mile to find that pillow or that chandelier to add the cherry on the cake. Secondly, the service inside as well as outside of the Riad was first class. Stefania and... Read more

Me and my wife stayed at Riad 72 the first two nights of our arrival into Morocco for the first time and we were completely stunned by how wonderful this Gem is. Slotted down the backstreets in the Old City, it's completely hidden from the passing eye but when you get inside, it's like you've entered a completely different setting. A building of stone with the most beautiful decor, plants and ambience. The staff go further than you'd think possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. T... Read more

This may be one of the most amazing hotels we've ever stayed at. Stephanie was so helpful and kind, the entire staff was so accommodating and kind, they will wait on you hand-and-foot. The Riad is impeccably decorated, with an excellent eye for detail. The food was delicious, and the rooftop terrace offered a perfect place to watch the sun set and rise.
