Nice hotel, good location for quiet holiday. Quite far from central Marrakech but only 15 minutes by taxi. Hotel offers free shuttle but we didn't use it. You can get a taxi and our driver happily showed us best tourists spots, restaurants and spa. Staff in a hotel are really helpful and nice. Restaurants within hotel are very good, especially Moroccan at the golf club and Asian next to main entrance so you don't have to leave hotel if you don't want to. Absolutely stunning pool area surrounded... Read more

We were a group of 8 people there for 4 days. The hotel itself is beautiful, amazing pool, epic room (very biig and well decorated), nice staff at the reception (Miss Karima Hani was very nice). However, the big downside was the FOOD! I am used to staying at hotels, and I've never seen such bad food in my whole life. especially coming from a 5 star hotel ! I ate better food at 3 star hotels. The breakfast was the only decent meal of the day and the snack bar by the pool was also nice. For Lunch,... Read more

I really like the Palmeraie. It is a giant resort. Its a 10 minute drive to the Souk market. The resort has some of the best restaurants, and nightclubs in Marrakech. The hotel also has a convention space. I was there for the Cosmetic convention Cosmet in May. The staff is very professional and the suits are comfortable. The spa and gym have their own building so its actually quite large. The hotel also has a golf course. The Palmeraie is also in an upscale area. This is a great resort if you wa... Read more

We stayed at the palmeraie palace for 8 days/7 nights in August. The hotel is really beautifully decorated, rooms are fully equipped and the resort has all the things that you need to have a relaxing vacation. We booked our vacation 7 months in advance through American Express travel. Through this booking we would receive an early check in/late check out, room upgrade, complimentary fruit in the room upon arrival, a free steam bath and discount on spa services. We did not need the check in/out... Read more

I stayed at Palmeri Palace as part of a group for 6 nights for half board. The hotel staff were friendly but, it must be mentioned that it is an advantage if you can speak a little French. The hotel scenary both inside and outside was impressive and, the room was fine. There are a few niggles to watch out for. The food buffet, although plentiful, does not change signifcantly also you need to be aware of some of the food being slightly under done. Further,iIf you take half board then be awa... Read more

This is hotel is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, no way a 5 star. Very few staff speak English, the food is terrible although the mojitos were very nice. The trip was ruined by my girlfriend being violently ill by food poising for 4 days for then me to come down with the same horrible food poisoning. No member of staff seemed concerned as if it was a regular occurrence. I would strongly advise you not to stay here, if you do watch what you eat because I'd hate anyone to experience wh... Read more

Presently in this hotel, it looks marvelous with all the palm trees. The rooms are cozy but oldish, The rooms are clean, however, the breakfast was a drama, it looked more like a cafeteria, The service in that cafeteria was really up to that level!!! And it looked precisely Like a cafeteria. I am very disappointed on this topic. Cheap tourists from the UK and Holland are all over the place. I was looking for a five-star hotel, but it is precisely a four star hotel level. The beautiful inner gard... Read more

Despite a few misunderstandings initially on arrival we had amazing service from the staff, wanting to ensure we had a great holiday! A particular mention to the pool staff, Khalid at breakfast and Tarik on reception who went out of their way for us! We had fun and enjoyed our break

I'll start by saying the hotel was very nice and the room was perfect. On arrival at the airport my wife and I had arranged for the hotel to collect us. It didn't turn up, and we had to catch a very expensive taxi. When checking in the hotel demanded a further 7 Euros per night extra for what they called Local tax, Gala Hotels didn't tell us this. Apart from the Moroccan Restaurant, the food was terrible, the quality of meat was very poor and the chiefs couldn't even cook a simple omelette corre... Read more

After several visits the last couple of years, which always offered a good balance of quality and price, something has changed. Breakfast is a disaster, the pool area is packed with seats and the pool is not so clean anymore and, on top, I got a food poisoning after been eating in their Asian restaurant. The spa was OK. Seems like we will be staying elsewhere when coming to Marrakech going forward.
